Trivia : In some Bleach games, Kenpachi’s unnamed sword demonstrates the ability to leave a trail of black dimensional matter every time he swings it. Anything that walks into it suffers damage. It is not possible that these are his Shikai commands or special ability, as in the Bleach DS series his strongest attack is a big shockwave, which is his full spiritual power after removing his eyepatch. Kenpachi has this ability in the anime and manga, just not as an attack, although Noitra Jiruga did get countered by it after slashing Kenpachi’s eyepatch off. It is likely that this shockwave is as strong as a captain’s Bankai in power.

Yes, an Espada’s number is based on the order in which they are born and partially their strength levels.
However, in Ulquiorra’s case, I think Aizen KNEW about his Ulquiorra’s Segunda Etapa. I don’t think Ulquiorra knew Aizen knew about his Segunda Etapa.
Ulquiorra should have asked, in his mind, the questions I am going to ask ALL of you:
Why did Aizen put so much faith? Why did Aizen treat Ulquiorra as the General Commander of the Espada?
Aizen knows Ulquiorra is extremely loyal and intelligent. Matter fact, in the manga, there has been multiple moments which showed Aizen agreeing with Ulquiorra’s plans. Same as when Aizen let Ulquiorra choose to capture any character from Karakura Town. Aizen would NEVER have done this with the other Espada.
Personally, even if Ulquiorra somehow came back (I have my thoughts) and Aizen summoned the Vasto Lordes through Gargantas, I think Ulquiorra would still be the General Commander, even thought he would be one of the weakest compared to the Vasto Lordes.
1)I know Aizen knew about Segunda Etapa. 2)Aizen knew how loyal Ulquiorra is. 3)Aizen KNEW he could count on Ulquiorra to report any “traitors” amongst the brethren Espada. 4)Aizen was confident that Ulquiorra would be able to kill most of the Espada IF they betrayed Aizen.

here is my theory of vasto lordes…I think the espada were indeed vasto lordes but they can only reach that stage once they have been defeated in thier release form and they come back to life as vasto lordes.

we’ve waited so long to see just the POWERS of ukitake and kyouraku’s shikais, as well as why everybody seems to fear and respect unohana (since she’s a super-sempai), i’ll be very disappointed if they just end it without every character releasing.
we still have
Yamamato’s bankai
Unohana’s… well, the giant manta ray thing is ONE form of her zanpakuto, so we still need an explanation.
Shunsui’s bankai, which ukitake spoke about, which means that it SHOULD get released.
Ukitake’s bankai
and an explanation of why ichigo’s mask keeps changing and why he’s so different from the others (probably explained by urahara =])
Not to mention the bankais of love, rose, shinji, hopefully isshin and a return by ishida’s dad.
And if they all get pitted against aizen/gin/tousen/wonderweiss (which is like…alot of bankais and releases and alot of power), it’ll be kinda rushed.
Not to mention gin and aizen’s bankais.
So no, if bleach ends this year, it will not be good. If it does end, it will be rushed and crappy. If it doesnt, this won’t be the last attack on the world.

Just because a captain gets hit by a cero a few times at point blank, or gets stabbed through the chest doesnt necessarily mean they’re getting raped by the espada- ideally, the top 4 captains are yamamato, unohana, kyouraku and ukitake… and like kyouraku said when he versed stark, his sword wasnt in the mood to play. And just because a captain is weaker in some ways to other captains doesnt mean that 2x weak captains can’t bring down yammy. Kenpachi (if he fought properly with kendo from the beginning and didn’t fool around) would’ve killed nnoitora very very quickly; Byakuya, if he didnt fool around, would’ve killed the eyeball guy very very quickly. Just because they get cut up during their fights doesn’t mean they’d do any worse against someone of a higher rank.
For example, ishida and sado’s first fight in HC they were getting pummelled coz they went up against bad enemies- when they switched, they kicked their asses. Same should be held for the captains- WHO they’re fighting against is also very important. Yammy was taking apart rukia sado and renji, and would’ve taken apart ichigo too, since his hollow mask was acting up- but when he went up against 2 FULLY POWERED, healed captains with different fighting styles, he’s getting kicked.
Stark’s fight would’ve been much better if he went up against ukitake rather than kyouraku maybe, or maybe even soi fong. Fact is that his matching was bad.
Ichigo vs aizen… is stupid. Really. It’s on the proviso that aizen’s bankai isn’t something monstrous, or that his shikai doesn’t have a 1 second release time.
But maybe if ichigo with his mask on sees the shikai, would ichigo without has mask on be immune? We know that his eyes change colour when he puts the mask on, so maybe one form CAN ’see’ the shikai while the other form can be immune.
We still need enemies for the remaining captains to release their bankais against- just having everybody go up against aizen with their bankais isn’t good enough- they’ll release, attack, then get raped by kyoka suigetsu, like ukitake against stark/wonderweiss since we saw his power in action ONCE and got owned.
Having more VL from Hueco Mundo seems to be too desperate for Kubo: you KNOW a series is getting bad when they start introducing new characters at the last minute.
Perhaps Aizen will release every single hollow from hueco mundo to distract everybody else?…
One thing i’ve never really understood is this- say aizen had 10 espada all tattooed and happy. If one guy comes along who is at level espada 5, aizen would make him espada level 5, correct? Then THAT means that former number 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 get pushed up one, and they have to get their tattoos modified.
Seems like an awful waste to me.
But the espada numbers are definitely worth SOMETHING. Its just that we saw more of ulquiorra’s powers than the other 3, which is why so many people say ‘ulquiorra is the strongest’. Damn fanboys/girls.
The exception is yammi i think. Although Yammi COULD kill a few captains- eg. Komamura, Kurotsuchi (maybe), and maybe soi fong (she jumps around alot, but i dont think suzemabachi will work on something that big- it must have a limitation). He just picked a bad pair to fight with (they hate each other’s guts, but byakuya and ken-chan make a good team)
so why did the strongest captains lose to the 1-3 espada and need the vizards help if the lowest level captain(Kenpachi) can defeat the strongest espada(yammi)?? nothing makes sense anymore bleach is my fave anime next to dbz but i cant make nething out nemore sum1 plz elaborate and help me out im flustered haha…
Captains are not like espadas that ranks with numbers
kenpachi is not a low level captain,
actually he is one of the strongest,
one piece is the best right now…
yeah, one piece is the best, bleach was pretty good too, but its kinda dropping now.
