Trivia : In some Bleach games, Kenpachi’s unnamed sword demonstrates the ability to leave a trail of black dimensional matter every time he swings it. Anything that walks into it suffers damage. It is not possible that these are his Shikai commands or special ability, as in the Bleach DS series his strongest attack is a big shockwave, which is his full spiritual power after removing his eyepatch. Kenpachi has this ability in the anime and manga, just not as an attack, although Noitra Jiruga did get countered by it after slashing Kenpachi’s eyepatch off. It is likely that this shockwave is as strong as a captain’s Bankai in power.
Still not buying it, as much as I would like to. Yachiru wasn’t even with Kenpachi in the first place.

I like this spoiler… it’s setting things up for future progression and answering a big question concerning Aizen, Gin, and Tousen. I think…well hope for a Aizen/Yammamoto battle which should lead to the creation of the King’s Key.
After watching episode # 167 I think it was made clear that the Espada are indeed Vasto Lordes. They explained the 3 stages of hollows Gillian, Adjuchas, and Vasto lordes and we saw Grimmjow in Adjuchas stage and when the four other adjuchas offered to be eaten by Grimmjow so he can reach the next level Vasto lordes there was no mention of the level Espada. I know some of you are saying #9 espada was a gillian and you are right but that’s where Wonderwiess comes in he is the 10th Vasto lordes .

You can only assume.. but judging from how weak they were and got there ass whooped I doubt it… Id like to think #2 and ulquiorra were vasto lordes though… Just remember that he said 9 was a menos transfored arrancar… all the other ones they said were AT LEAST ADJUCHAS… but it didnt say if any use to be vasto lordes.. And if 10 can conquer all of soul society, i doubt the other espadas that got owned were truly vasto lordes. One thing to think about is Wonderweiss…
1) Special crown and purple sword
2) Can summon this fatass thing that summons menos
3) Stark said if hes here aizen must be getting impatient
4) Remember when it showed Aizen making WW into an arrancar? From what I remember he was wrapped up in bandages… and it was in a huminoid form.

like i said many times, i think only some of the espada are vasto lorde. like stark n barragan(not so sure about hallibel). wonderweiss is most likely vastolorde out of all arrancar.

Aizen clearly has more vasto lordes on his side but they aren’t strong enough to place in the top 10 thats why he stated that he needs to find the rest to complete the espada to see if they are strong enough to join the espada

At least the poster calling himself “stark” is smart enough to realize who the Vasto Lordes are. There are no espada that are Adjuchas level, they’re all Vasto Lordes except espada #9. Obviously most of the fraccion are Adjuchas, as evidenced by their less than perfect intelligence, and the flashbacks during episode 167. Congrats on being one of the few intelligent people on the internet, stark.

Uh, no. Aizen was still looking for his first VL when Nnoitra, Nel, Grimmjow, and Szayel were already Espada, so all 4 of them are confirmed Adjuchas. There is no proof that any of the Espada were VL, the fact that they all got their asses handed to them by mid-level captains (except Starrk, who got killed by a high level captain in SHIKAI) should clue you in that they weren’t VL. Ten VL would be more than SS could handle, according to Hitsugaya. The ten Espada were no match for SS, and 3 of the 4 top Captains didn’t even fight. Dummy.

it was earlier said that vl’s are even stronger than the captains and if aizen was to annihilate every1 in KT he would’ve expected that gotei 13 will put up a fight and before the visoreds entered the scene soi-fon and hitsugaya were already gettin pawned so i guess it should go like this atleast the top 3 espada who came with aizen should be VL’s along with WW and since VL’s are extremely powerful its not like we can expect an army of VL’s under Aizen moreover it was said that there are only a few VL’s in HM
Also did anyone notice the difference in released forms of the top 3 espadas they all seem more like shinigamis after their release unlike all the others who develop fangs, claws, shells etc..

Kaname become Visored? Better be the upgraded form, or the never seen before type of Hollow transformation.. They acquired Hollow power just predictable long ago.. And if they become normal Visored, it just wasting the story about experimentation of Hollowfication, yet the result just the same, but without the necessity to fight inner hollow… Maybe full control of inner hollow power and potential would do….
i have a feeling that when ichigo gets to the real fake kara town he’s gonna have to go through gin to get to aizen and gin being gin an all he’s gonna woop ichi and daddy’s gonna have to come and pound on gin just a dream i had or maybe it was a nightmare coz it had gin in it lol
Guys, it’s not that hard to understand:
There are three different kinds of Menos, from weakest to strongest: Gillian, Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde. They’re all different kinds of Hollow, and as such they can all be turned into Arrancar either through natural means or by the Hogyoku.
Tangerine, you’re both right and wrong. Espada #9, Aaroniero, was indeed the only Gillian-turned-Arrancar of the current Espada, but this doesn’t mean the others above him were Vasto Lorde. Grimmjow was confirmed to have only attained Adjuchas level (besides, he displayed far too little power to be considered a former Vasto Lorde), and the same is also probably true for all the other Espada above and below him. The only unique case is Coyote Starrk, but he seemed to have been a natural Arrancar rather than a Vasto Lorde, since he was already human-like when Aizen met him.
It’s important to note that the definition of a Vasto Lorde is a Hollow who is essentially human-sized, but still looks entirely like a Hollow (as far as we’ve been informed by Kubo, through Hitsugaya), not a human like the Arrancar.
Currently, the only Arrancar who has a chance of being a Vasto Lorde is Wonderweiss; if only because, during his creation scene, the form in front of Aizen WAS human-sized before Aizen even used the Hogyoku to turn him into an Arrancar. Also, Wonderweiss has shown plenty enough power to be considered a Vasto Lorde-turned Arrancar, as the Vasto Lorde themselves are supposed to be above average Captain level even without being Arrancarified.
