wats up wit u. We all have our different opinions and ideas. Besides, In DBZ they never even gave a good explination about how you get it or how the ssj comes.
Well dude, Haki means “King’s Stare” or something very close to that (Silvers Rayleigh explained it, not just the fans’ hype). That implies Luffy is powerful and has potential of becoming king. Only a few people have it or use it (Luffy, Shanks, and Silvers used it so far, Gol D obviously but off-screen) but they are powerful as hell with some kind of affiliation to a King’s position. If you want to translate it to DBZ terms, Haki moments are like your power reading breaking everyone’s scouter (or at least an “OVER 9000!” moment for everybody)….
And dude, Super Saiyan is overrated, almost every other anime’s trying that sh!t (Naruto wears orange and blue, and has yellow hair ¬_¬ plus the Kyuubi thing, Ichigo always pulls some new energy out of his ass at the end of a big battle, just like Goku)…..
a little correction : that’s not haki wich means “Kings stare”, but Haōshoku.

also for Rogers power, i think about what said Rayleigh (he had the ability to “hear the voice of all things”) and it can mean a lot.
so i’m not really sure about Roger and Rayleigh using both haôshoku haki because it’s too easy to predict and we all know that Oda loves to surprise us ;)
well for the expression on his face….. the reason for that is whitebeard cant believe that squardo would do that.his just really really suprised that first it was blackbeard now its squardo. so the expression is nothing big.

i believe mantra and haki are two separate abilities. I believe Gol D roger knew both Haki and Mantra to nullify the devil fruit users and predict their attacks

On another note: Am I the only one that still remembers the Vigorous Hormone effect on Luffy? After Ivankov used the effect, it took some hours to get out the jail, it may have taken an hour to get to the warzone, then about 1 1/2 hours have passed since the battle started. Though I forgot how long the Vigorous effect was to last, either 12 hours or a day. But this isn’t like DBZ where a 5 minute battle takes up 12 episodes or chapters. after a just a few chapters, 1.5 hours passed. I still have my fingers crossed for the effect to last AFTER the war or when Luffy’s protected by reinforcements (I’m hoping for Shanks’ crew or someone to save the day 8D). I hate how no other Strawhat crewmember heard of the Whitebeard war yet, they just out there chillin’ >:[….

nad the one saving the day, there’s a very small chance to see dragon i think, shanks has intercepted kaidou, so it wouldn’t be some little fight, it’s 2 yonkou fighting each other, and after a battle between yonkou it may be difficult to recover after few hours, cause the battle has started a few hours before the war
I just don’t like it, especially when some guys always say “this has to be haki” when something “special” happens. without any proof, it’s just jabbering to me. my opinion, that’s all.
I compared the hype of haki with the hype of super sayan, not the power which is granted.
@Graphite: haki itself just means ambition, you’re talking about the highest level of haki, the king’s deposition.
this type indeed is special, but why making such a great hype about it again and again? do you think the battles in the OP-future will only rely on haki? epic fights… :D
I’ve gotta admit that rayleigh using haki was quite impressive, but there’s no need to make such a hype about it, is there?

Well Devil Fruits have gone through an X-men complex, to me. It’s special, but so many people have it now :\. Of course it seems better, because that’s what makes people unique and able to fight big battles. But what I like more about haki is that the ones who use it are chosen, not just a person who ate a fruit; and if you’re chosen, there has to be some kind of reason, not just by finding a fruit. So in a sense, the Devil Fruits are overrated, since anybody can have a power (some lazy bum can have the power to move objects with his mind)…. So Haki actually means “Will power” on average, my mistake. But it still seems like the people who obtained it are persistent and have done alot of hard work.

One piece is really awesome.. i duno i think WB will probably die, because that would release the haki in luffy. That would be awesome sight, but if he doesn’t die him getting stabed should for sure trigger something insane… maybe shanks get involved, or maybe luffy get a new move.

still zolo is way so far weaker than Mihawk ,further more there are planty of swordmans he has to top before he gets to fight with Mihawk ,but for sure he will beat them all and be the strongest man in the world eventually!

whitebeard is old.. he even had medical stuff attached to him on his ship, and he got stabed right through the fucking middle of his body, copletly offguard. the look he has in the last picture doesnt seem too confident either. maybe he goes down, is unabel to figth but doesnt die and luffy gets something new anyway, but i dont think WB will be like “lol, a little stab, gtfo im so strong”

Whitebeard yells at Squardo as he strikes him with his gura gura punch which causes Squardo to fall into the bay.
Squardo’s Blade still lodge inside him he yells out to one of his crew.
Whitebeard sees the PX army, saying, “Seems like even a subordinate like you will be useful here,” and calls out a guy.
Lutz (rattsu?) – Bounty 100 million beli
His ability is the Bug Bug Fruit (as in computer bug)
He can’t perform any material attacks but in regards to the interior of computers, he’s able to cause computer bugs.
A marine explains that in the past, he bugged a lot of the marine’s warship computers.
He looks up to Whitebeard and says, “I don’t have any speed or means to defend, so please cover me!”
Thereupon, the 8th division captain Kazoo(?) (Kazu-)
(Toritori Fruit – Model Swallow)
Seems like the fruit gives incredible speed
Kazoo holds onto Lutz and with a burst of speed heads towards the PX army, circling above them.
Lutz, inhales and releases what seems like an incredible mass of air from his mouth. With both his hands he smashes it to fine particles, and it falls it onto the PX army.
2nd part: Everyone looks shocked at what happened to WB but WB advises everyone to continue to attack the platform.
Marco rushes to WB aid, “Dad, What do we do now? You should be treated.” Whitebeard tells Marco he must rescue Ace no matter what… and that no little wound by a bug will stop him.
Sengoku: “Now is the time to strike! Don’t let them at the platform… ?” but stops in his speech as he sees a darkness forming over the Marine HQ. (similar to a black hole)
3rd part: The real Kuma teleports near Ace… Sengoku, Admiral Garp, and Fire-fist Ace looks surprise.
Sengoku: “Stand down NOW!! PX-0!”
B.Kuma is about to strike Ace with his paw paw ability, but is stopped by Kizaru who kicks him back.
Kizaru: “What a troublesome ability you have?”
Luffy and Jimbei devises a plan to get to Ace before the execution. Sentomaru appears to challenge Luffy, Jimbei stands in the way of Sentomaru and tells Luffy to continue with plan.
4th part: One piece 563
Whitebeard calls to Luffy, Luffy stretches to him and Whitbeard is seen discussing a plan to get to the platform as quick as possible.
Whitebeard tells Marco to cover him in the air…
Last scene shows Luffy about to launch himself with Whitebeard to the platform.
