シロヒゲも驚くがニヤリ。

ジンベイとかが、オヤッサン！！っていいながら後ろから来る中将達と戦ってる。
場面変わり、オニグモがルフィの覇気で、ぐらついてるところにMr.3とバギーが現れて、バギーがマギー玉 でオニグモを吹っ飛ばす。
Mr.3はドルドルで鍵をつくってマルコ解放。
バギーがマルコに耳打ち。あの何かたくらんでいる時の顔。
そこに鷹の目が突っ込んでくる。
マルコ、不死鳥に腕から変身するが間に合わないって焦る。
鷹の目が攻撃しようとした時に久々のダズさんが登場。
ダズ「お前が最強の剣士か。」ってかっこよすぎる登場でミホークと戦う。
ミホークと最初は互角ぽく、ダズさん頑張る。
が、ミホークが「邪魔だ」って言ってミホークの眼のアップ。
覇気発動？？でダズをキル。
ドフラがクロコに「部下がやられてるぜ」ってニヤニヤ。
クロコ、無言でダズを見て地面に手をついて地面を砂に変えてく。
それでクロコから離れるドフラ。
で、クロコはデザートスパーダでミホーク狙う。ミホーク避けてクロコvsミホーク。
場面変わって、イワンコフとルフィ。

Oda was influenced heavily by dragon ball. so the fight coming up between garp and luffy may be compared to goku vs roshi. Pupil vs teacher thing. I think luffy can win honestly. garp is not in his prime and will probably hold back a little bit. I believe this maybe a test from garp to luffy
Everyone needs something to inspire them to work and i have the feeling luffy will lose
we can’t be sure whether luffy will win or lose but one thing is for sure luffy is gonna master his king’s disposition else he is as good as dead in his fight with garp.
well, sure Oda is inspired by DB as he said himself (he admires toriyama) but to compare this fight to goku/roshi isn’t something on wich i can agree with you cause first they’re not on the same lvl (even if garp is not in his prime he’s way too strong then luffy plus the fact that luffy is really weakened while garp is in top form)
second garp isn’t really luffy’s master (there’s dadan who has a major role in luffy’s training) and finally garp loves his familly so he he’ll for sure hold back as you said.
anyways i’m thinking now about a fake fight from garp (like the one in some prediction when he punches kizaru and sengoku saying “what are doing garp” XD) cause i don’t see how this will happen otherwise.
but this is Oda we’re talking about so can’t guess…

what if this thing was the key to access raftel, or more precisely, to be pirate king ? since now the’re chance that ace has haoushoku it could make sense that WB is “preparing” him (train to master haoushoku ?) to be pirate king, and it could also make sense about why the yonkou can’t access to raftel. so maybe this thing has also a relation with WG since dragon is involved in it (he said time to meet luffy will come soon cause maybe he needs luffy’s haoushoku to stand WG ?)

I think that line means that their mayB enemies and secrets hidden beyond what we know currently. MangaStream’s translation missed some good important info translation… On one of the panel, a WB Commander said that
“It’s a King Disposition’s Haki” but the true translation on that one is “Just like old man Whitebeard and Redhair, it’s a King’s Disposition.” something like that. And also about what Garp said. There are many mistranslation on MangaStream.

Garp is not as weak as you think he is, even though he may have gotten a bit weaker, I personally think he’s still as strong or even stronger than an admiral because he denied lots of promotions, Garp has always been a vice admiral for more than 22 years.

Garp has denied many promotions that’s true but Oda himself confirmed both Garp and Sengoku as former Admirals. Garp was an admiral that choose 2keep the title of Vice Admiral just like Aokiji does currently. Actually in hind-sight I wonder I Aokiji does that in order 2show respect 2Garp.

yes.., sure we don’t know if he has haoshoku or not (never mentioned), and it’s also true that he was very proud about his canceling DF ability, but his darkness ability and haoshoku’s canceling style is different, for instant haoshoku could touch logia type real body(closest sample) but darkness are more powerful in canceling, the victim totally can’t use their power when touched/grabed by blacbeard. that’s why i think the fact that he proud of his DF canceling ability doesn’t make that he doesn’t have haoshoku, because what he got is more powerful than haoshoku itself. i mean why isn’t someone being proud if he has machine gun while anybody else just got a pistol..?, and that doesn’t mean he only have a machine gun, there’s a big probability that he has the pistol as well…, well.., at least that’s just my opinion, there’s a big probability too that i am totally wrong…^_^

let’s say you’re right. now tell me, what makes haoushoku so rare if every D. posesses it ? if it’s supposed to be a gift for a chosen one aver a million, if hancock, WB, shanks, garp, ace, luffy, teach, maybe raleigh too, certainly new D’s and less probably new haousoku users are here (even if we put aside the two lastly stated) it will be way too much for the manga, not for OP world but for the storyline, Haoushoku will become just as simple as haki.
