Luffy vs Garp [I'll blow you out of my way] Luffy goes into Gear 2nd and smashes Garp (Garp seems to take the hit deliberately) and is knocked off the bridge.
Luffy arrives at the top of the platform, and attempts to unlock Ace’s cuffs, but Kizaru intercepts, knocking the key away with a beam.
Mr. 3, who had disguised himself as an executioner lends a hand to free the locks, but Sengoku finally plays his hand and reveals his ability that makes him grow large (kyojin no mi?)
His appearance is that of a Daibutsu (a large statue(s) of Buddha), he has become huge! Dai-sengoku throws a punch at Luffy, the scaffold collapses bouncing everyone off, Luffy tries to open the cuffs in mid-air (got the key back and/or Mr. 3) the marines concentrate a barrage of fire on them, and from inside a circle of flames appears Ace! Endo.
Trivia: All members of the Monkey Family have shown to have a noticable mark on the left side of their faces. Both Luffy and Garp have a scar while Dragon has a large tattoo.

Luffy coughs blood when he took Sengokou’s punch.
Garp is just an old man, we all know now his physical strenght is no more, his grandson inherited it. Now the only way to avoid a punch for him is to use his devil fruit powers, that is if he has got one.
I was expecting a little more exiting powers for Sengoku than turning into a giant, like moving fast or having kung fu powers.

there are different daibustsu, they’re classified by size, maybe sengoku can change size at will ?

crew’ straw hat is have ambition or desire, like zoro want strong swordman, nami want make a map of world, etc.
i feel luffy will fall unconscious and exhausted and whitebeard pirates and marine will settle for draw but somehow they manage to escape with ace(maybe at the cost of whitebeard).
dragon will definetely show up and rescue Luffy and maybe there is a time skip to cover up time for luffy to recover and dragon helping luffy in mastering hi haki.
Reasons why i think so :
1) He has already taken enough hormones from Iva-chan [:P] and he is pretty injured. And also note that whenever Luffy uses gear 3rd he always shrinks but here there is no change in his body size. Also he is using Gear 2 frequently. So maybe finally when he is down he maynot get up for lets say 6 months due to adverse effects of Gear
2) even if marine lose this battle there first priority will be to find and execute luffy one who possess King’s Disposition and only place where he can be safe is with Dragon until he master King’s Disposition.

You are wrong about saying that he didn’t shrink.Until he gets the key from Mr 3 his body is clearly shrank
Why is everyone so sure that Dragon will come. There has been no signs of Dragon coming and Iva only expected dragon to come to save his son, not to defeat the World Government. Since that reason no longer exists, the chances of Dragon showing up is close to zero.
Actually your wrong he didn’t use gear 3rd on that part? try to see it again in that part where you said luffy use gear 3rd? he always use that technique many times sucking up as many air as he can so he can blow up his body. he also use that technique remember when he fight against crocodile and in that part he still dont know how to activate gear 3rd, it’s just his normal technique not gear 3rd so that’s why he did not shrink..

how can u even compare air sucking technique with gear 3. Thats insane. my best guess why his body didn’t shrink is coz his body is being driven by tension hormones and there are too many of them which is not letting it shrink by nullifying the tension(of shrinkage) in every part of his body.
@southa : hey pal how can u say there was time skip(when luffy shrank) he is right in the middle of battlefield and u know how vulnerable he is when he is in that state(~fight with pigeon guy :P). Guys! this oda we are talking about not kibo he doesnot make such mistakes.
@1piecerocks : Marine is fighting against whitebeard with full force and heavy casualty are due to happen to both the sides. Isn’t this once in a lifetime opportunity for any revolutionary to throw world gov once and for all. Don’t know whether oda will let revolutionary join the war but atleast THERE WAS SOMEONE WHO OPENED GATES OF JUSTICE to let luffy in and my guess is its DRAGON!
