Chapter 573: The name of this era, is “Whitebeard”
The pirates are running for the ship. Meanwhile, a hearthwarming interaction between Whitebeard and Ace is shown.
Jozu is unconcious and other pirates are trying to carry him, but he won’t move.
Akainu taunts WB and Ace.
Ace tells Akainu something in line of you crossed the line, and Akainu attacks the weakened Luffy. Ace protects him.
Akainu says even among Logia, there’s are ranks of strength, and his fist penetrates through Ace.

If haki wears you out then i dont think akainu is or would be wore out. He should still have enough power to haki though Ace. It just doesnt seem that suprising to me that he could do it.

ace, like all logia, recovers from avery physical attack cause he’s fire, but now this is magma, and according to akaine, magma burns fire, so he was burned, and he’ll not regenerate himself, if it was marco he’ll regenerate cause the phoenix regenerates himself from fire attacks.

magma (which has been recorded as becoming hotter then lava) can reach 1573.15 kelvin.
THE SUN’S SURFACE is AROUND 5,778 K. That’s just the surface. I’m not going to explain the physics of a star’s core because most of you morons are to idiotic to understand. But if the surface is 3.6x hotter then magma just assume how much of a difference between the core and magma is. (core is around 2.0×10^5 TIMES hotter then the surface.)

Don Achino is the atsu atsu devil fruit guy. The fruit is a paramecia type not a logia which would explain why he could hit him. But the biggest problem with this is that this came from a filler and is not canon.

After actually reading the manga i thought at first that the angry guy Eglion Senpai was right and ace went solid to protect luffy. But after thinking about it i think Akainu just punched through him. Akainu already said that he could burn Ace and did so. Whether he used haki (what i thought at first) is irrelevant. I think ace went to protect luffy knowing he was gonna get owned. He probably did not know he was gonna get a fist through him though.

Every fruit has a weakness. Otherwise there would be tons of powerful people in One Piece and no way to defeat them. Look at Luffy, he defeated Crocodile. He is logoia and Luffy beat him using blood. A liquid. He defeated Enel too, sort of since Luffy is rubber.
Other logoia will have other weaknesses.
Fire -> Ice
Water -> Fire
Ice -> Magma (since it will harden)
etc.
Rubber is not Lightnings weakness. Rubber just happens to be immune to lightning. Water would be his weakness
