Sakura decided to accompany sasuke because: (1) only way to kill him secretly and (2) to learn more madara’s plans on konoha as well as naruto. Sasuke is also smart, he cant fool by sakura’s tricks. He also believes that when sakura comes around, there goes naruto too. My guess is that he decided to agree sakura’s offer and used her as a bait for konoha and naruto. Kakashi came on time to save sakura and later, it also goes to naruto.

This series seems to be sliding off track. Kishi needs to go back to what made naruto great in the first place; a simpler storyline with less complex and LOGICAL events(like the Chunin Exams), AND a central focus on Naruto, you know, THE MAIN CHARACTER!.

Karin dying is certainly not where I saw this going. I assumed the reason that Kubo had Sasuke say “Karin, don’t move” was because he was looking to miss Karin’s vitals while still dealing a killing blow to Danzo. Then he could heal Karin afterwards.
If Karin is in fact dead, then that shoots down all theories that I had that Sasuke could be “saved” or die in an act of heroism. He is just a killer now if he killed Karin.

If Sakura was a traitor she would have killed her team mates and not simply to put them to sleep. Its an easy way to find out what Sasuke is doing, how he has changed and gauge his potential weaknesses without actually facing him in battle. How else are you goin to ascertain all that information w/o dieing to him in battle? Sasuke is a Kage level ninja, your just gonna show up and be like “hey ima kill you” and then win? No, and also she might actually think she can help him changed (like most women who love men think they can when they actually can’t). As for the fanboyism. There is nothing wrong with being a fan of Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru or whoever as long as your not talking down other peoples fandom. And as for Shikamaru being weak. I’d much rather have him planning the defense of my village than a person who isn’t has smart but who is super powerful. Everyone has their uses and specialties. The whole theme of this manga has been teamwork. But you guys don’t get that its like “My character is strong and yours is weak.” So is Karin weak because he had to rely on his teammates to be alive up until now. which he most certainly would have died w/o that?
