Chapter 575: Anger without words
Luffy is at a loss, Akainu takes the chance to attack him, but Marco blocks him.
Whitebeard, who was observing the situation, attacks him without saying a word.
Akainu fights back, but is taken down with two attacks. The second punch sends damage to the entire HQ, and not just Akainu.
Blackbeard pirates, who appears to have been observing the whole deal, appears with three legendary prisoners + Shiryu + another character.
Blackbeard: I’m glad I made it in time to see your death, pops.

The guys Blackbeard brought with him are:
A HUGE mofo like Oz, an old hag, and a large man drinking booze like crazy. The rest are his usual crew.
Akainu takes out half of Whitebeard’s face with the counter attack, Whitebeard’s second attack splits the entire island in two.
Whitebeard is left standing alone in one half of the island, fighting the entire rest of marines, and Blackbeard pirates.
The rest of Whitebeard pirates told to retreat are left on the other half of the island.

Trivia: Had Ace been a girl, he would have been named “Anne”. Incidentally “Anne” was the name of the girl who Luffy helped from Romance Dawn V.2. Anne is also the first name of real world pirate Anne Bonney.
sucks that we have to wait essentially til next month for the next chapter but some interesting plots brewing i like idea of luffy finding someone with a fire devil fruit ability to join the crew i think it would only be fitting, i still think it may be possible for jimbei to join his crew but i’m not sure about the situation with his own crew. i want to see how the relationship with boa hancock will playout, i never understand how animes can showcase all of these other things but make intimate relationships taboo. i hope that luffy can meet up with his crew in the next 2 or 3 chapters but i hope they dont dedicate too much time to where they were i think they should lump it all together in 1 or 2 chapters.

ODA, yes, he is unpredictable, but, at the same time… (Apart from the magma > fire problem on this forum) he is ALLWAYS consisten in the way he does his story telling.

He had 2 shots from IVA, was badly beaten up multiple times during that time. And on top of that, his ‘brother’ dies in his arms and he goes out.
IF he comes out of this, in this arc, that will make ODA a person that is doing something inconsistent. He might be luffy, but even here, when he comes around, it is beyond believe. And i truely do not want this to happen. It will shatter my belief in a wonderful story.
Luffy needs to stay out like he is now. WB needs to die and the rest needs to fly and save what they have for another try much later on in the story.

i agreed with with “me”, oda always make the story brilliantly, he will not do something like “sv_cheats 9″ or “whosyourdaddy”(cheat code to be god mode),so luffy will not awake and rage using haki,oda always use reasonable storyline eventhough not rasionalable,hehe…..
Iva-san will take him away on that place, and then luffy will wake up after days, weeks, months or something.. when he wakes up, Luffy-san will be in the New World seeing his father(I wish).
prediction:
I’ll try and think like oda. next chapter, will properly about the new crew mates of the blackbeard pirates showcasing their abilities as the marines turn their attention to them. The marines will shout out every name of new crewmembers cause they like to do that alot.This will properly take up the alot of the chapter, remarks from the WB pirates and war lords, will properly tell us nothing new.WB continues to fights on.luffy is still outcold has he is being carried away by jimbei. The cliffhanger will likely to be ..the finishing blow on whitebeard??!!- no,too soon. In that case….the arrival of someone is likely to be on the last page.
where does the story go from here though is the question, whats life like after for luffy, does he meet up with his crew and continue forward, or does he try to seek revenge in some capacity, i feel that luffy will have a talk with garp that will allow him to move forward on his journey.

I think its gonna take luffy days at most weeks to come out of the coma but it would be months. My guess is he is going to wake up and realize ace would want him to be happy and blah blah this and that. I cant see it taking months for him to wake up let alone years.

yea at first i thought him getting jimbei would have made his crew too powerful but now seeing what blackbeard has gained and the other powers of the other rookies i think jimbei would be a good addition and it would give luffy even more respect in the world having a shikibukai under him, still would like to see someone unexpected join though but i feel the show is headed for some crazier and crazier fights so jimbei will be a good fit
jimbei cant be a strawhat he is not funny at all. one piece is a comedy/shounen after all and alla the SH’s so far have a very funny aspect in their personalities.Jimbei is far to serious and old to fit in there.
its possible that jimbei will join SH crew. you said that SH are all Funny thing guy, but how about zoro? we all know that zoro is the most serious of the crew. so it is possible that another serious type one will join the crew. but it is in the hand of Oda to decide the subject.
i think Luffy job is done in this epic arc, and i think BB will let WB to die in the hands of the marines and when WB is dead BB will attack and destroy the Entire Marine HQ like swallowing up the whole HQ and killing many Marines in that way he will gain his tittle as the new yonkou or probably the new strongest man in the world what do you think guys?
