Ichigo is troubled by what Aizen was going to tell him about being “a shinigami and a…”
Isshin head butts Ichigo and he goes flying.
He hits Isshin back and them Isshin(?) says something like, “So you were able to recover.”
And then I don’t remember how it happened, but Isshin attacks Aizen and Aizen is blown away.
Ichigo swings his sword at Gin.
Gins says, “Its been a long time,” then suddenly
Gin goes bankai.
After Ichigo is blown away Isshin goes after him and disappears.
Aizen: “All traces of him have disappeared?”
Then Ichimaru appears behind him and wonders if he should help out.
They’re conversing about how Gin joining in wouldn’t make a difference when Isshin and Ichigo attack.

Yes, he is as you say. Who else in the Bleach universe is human/shinigami? Nobody? There are human/shingami-hybrids all-throughout Bleach. However, there are no HUMAN+shinigami/hollow-hybrids, except Ichigo…he is a combination of all three-states-of-existence in the Bleach universe. Maybe this is why Aizen finds him unique, worth studying.
Plus, Isshin knocked Aizen through a couple buildings with his finger. There might be a fourth state to life, a Demi state…’God’ like. That’s the power Aizen wants…maybe Isshin knows how to use it, and this is why he is so powerful.
If Aizen uses the Hyugouku to absorb Ichigo after he is in his release state, Aizen can get to that 4th level of existence.
But Aizen does not recognize isshin so that means isshin is not exactly a shinigami. Because Right as ichigo is about to say dad aizen says and they are related. aizen also later says he must be powerful because of his reiatsu containing barrier. But he never mentions a name suggesting that he does not know isshin
Perhaps it’s a surprise to Ichigo that he has shinigami blood. I think Kubo will show us later why Aizen has such a great interest for him because of that.

lets analyze that for a moment. If you remember, up until that point ichigo never knew his father was a shinigami. therefore, he never knew he was part shinigami. it was never told to him. so all of us were guessing half hollow or something, when it was so obvious.

This chapter, it says that aizen says “you are a human and a …. ” Now this would make more sense. seems like kubo was trying to cover his tracks from last chapter, or it was a translation error. However, it could be neither of them and kubo could of just been fucking with all of us by making us want to miss the obvious and try to guess something that wasn’t there.
short version, ICHIGO NEVER KNEW HE WAS A SHINIGAMI. HE ONLY KNEW HE WAS A SUBSTITUTE SHINIGAMI WHO GOT HIS POWER FROM RUKIA AND SOMEHOW HAD LATENT POWERS OF HIS OWN. that is all.

No. Mangastream are the fastest scanlation group for Bleach, but definitely not the best. Mangastream uses Binktopia’s translators now, and Binktopia are known to be some of the least accurate translators out there. The best Bleach scanlators are Ju-Ni, followed by M7.

Onemanga isn’t that great. Not with sleepyfans translations. They’re never completely accurate, because they throw in what they think should be said, believing it sounds better than what was actually written. A lot of the times you miss something potentially important, or just something that would have made more sense.
Looks like kubo’s gonna take a 2 week break to catalaouge more imagination (to make Gins Bankai output better and to further amaze the Aizen vs isshin battle) ! so no Chapters for the next two weeks unfortunately!

It could be that isshin is not a shinigami but of the royal bloodline, But if you read the chapter it says that aizen did not know that they were related.
I don’t think this is a translation error I think this was just Ichigo thinking to himself I am human and shinigami in disbelief. He was stunned his dad is a shinigami.

Exactly. Kubo is a great writer but he never actually had any intention on making his own manga. He was just an artist that got lucky but now he’s written over 400 chapters &still gaining fans.

Ichigo is a human. So when a human dies, he has the possibility of becoming either a hollow(that is if he is deeply attached to someone or something in the material world…) or he may end up in soul society and may even become a shinigami if he possess a fair reiatsu…
So Ichigo has the possibility of becoming either a hollow or a shinigami. Now we know that Ichigo’s dad is a shinigami and I presume that is the reason why Ichigo easily obtained shinigami powers.
Aizen is interested in Ichigo because he is human(Shinigami+hollow).
Ichigo has been able to obtain shinigami powers while still being human so why can’t he awake the hollow that is inside of him??–> this is what Aizen must be thinking!!!

Some of you could say that Ichigo is already a Human+shinigami+hollow (Vizard) but I think that Ichigo can still transform into a being far more powerful than that. Even Aizen called the Vizards pseudo arrancars, so they are Fails!!!
Btw in the fight between Ichigo against Ulquiorra Ichigo did transform into a new being. Can’t say it was a hollow coz hollows are weak compared to espadas. It was like an espada’s resurrection.However, Ichigo still had his zan while being a complete hollow meaning that a hollow and shinigami can be combined together to obtain a new being!!!

Ichigo is a extremely rare case. Despite being a Shinigami, he is still a living Human being and resides in the Human World, rather than in Soul Society. Uniquely, he gained his own powers through Urahara’s training/forced encroachment, which simultaneously gave him Hollow powers. Due to his Hollow powers, Ichigo is technically classified as a Vizard, but he still thinks and refers to himself as a Shinigami. For all purposes Ichigo is a Human in physical body and Vizard in spiritual body, thus making his situation even more rare then previously thought.
Anybdy heard of kubo saying he’s gonna extend Bleach even more than ‘one piece’ and “naruto”, like he was saying he’s gonna make it till 2,000 chapters of it! WOWWWW!!!

I dont think Kubo could even make 1000 chapters never mind 2000 chapters.
The One Piece and Naruto world are much more vast and intricate than the Bleach world, that is why they can keep going on (well Naruto is running out) but theres no way bleach can.
What can Kubo do after this Aizen arc? Hell have to go onto the Royal Gaurd and King arc. But once all thats completed then what? A villain stronger than Aizen appears? Unlikely as this raises the question – What is that super strong villain doing right now? And these next few arcs wont take 600 chapters to write lol

I think the reason of bleach chapters’s slowness is drawing style.Did any of you realise how stupid drawing is when the scene is small ? He need detail for his style so he needs big scene. I might be wrong with these ideas of course :D

Yeah i think so too because isshin has that weird shoulder guard that we have only seen on jidanbou and the other gate keepers, so it probably signifies something.
In reguards to that *shoulder guard*, its funny and but until now I didn’t realize it.. Isn’t the Quincy’s full release VERY similar, 1 shoulder guard altho on his right shoulder.. Maybe just coincidence.. But worth a thought.
Funny thing is Ichigo is still going through puberty, remember hes only 16.. Which is probably where alot of his conflicts come from within his soul even with zangetsu, he still only knows 1 special attack.. Can’t wait to see what happens once he fully matures and starts using different techniques.. I think Isshin will be the prime example of what will come from Ichigo.. but since Ichigos already this strong I don’t know…
