Shanks picks up the strawhat, and says this isn’t how we promised, so we’ll do this next time.. as he flashes back on the past.
He tells Buggy he’ll give him a treasure map, so give this strawhat to Luffy.
Buggy gets excited and takes the strawhat back to Luffy, but upon return he realizes Shanks was just screwing with him, and starts insulting Shanks. The prisoners see him talking to Shanks, a Yonkou, as his equal, and say they’ll follow Buggy for life.
Aokiji and Kizaru attacks Law’s submarine trying to escape.
Ice Age freezes even the ocean below, and Kizaru’s laser spam rains down from above as the sub tries to dodge and run (whether they got away or not isn’t shown)
Some interaction between Marco and Shanks.
Shanks tells the marines if you want to continue, the entire Redhaired Pirates will face them.
Sengoku gives up the war, and tells the marines to tend to the wounded.
He (doesn’t specify if this is Sengoku or Shanks) then looks at Blackbeard, and says this isn’t the time to fight you yet… we’ll withdraw as we got what we wanted.
Hancock charms marines, and takes them to search for Luffy
Shanks says he’ll do the burial for Whitebeard and Ace.
Some of the marines protest to this, but Sengoku tells him “I don’t mind… since it’s you”
One shots of all the characters, and narration stating the war has ended, and fin.

Nja answering questions of how Buggy got the strawhat to the sub.
Law was checking out Redhaired, and his men were telling him to get inside, when Buggy arrives and chunks the strawhat from above. The hat gets back to Luffy.
Trivia: The Jolly Roger of the Red-Haired crew is similar to the flag of Calico Jack with 3 scars added to it. However, Calico Jack’s flag is generally a fairly popular pirate reference, and since Oda has never addressed this issue, it is unclear if this is an intended reference or not.

the finale arrives as in this will be the last scene most likely, could easily take more than 2-3 chapters. im just glad shanks finally came, was getting pissed that he nor dragon didnt show up -.-
You’re right that it could could take longer, but the point is that this arc will soon be over so the next few chapters will literally decide the state of the world as a whole and the direction it is moving in.

I don’t really know what is Shanks going to do…
Will he fight? Or wil he try to stop the war without using his strenght, just with words (as Coby tried before…)
If he fights, who will stop him? The Marine has too many problems (Kurohige, the captains,…) and now, after the biggest war ever seen in one piece, none of them seems to have the necessary power to stop red hair and his nakamas.
And what about Blackbeard? Will he destroy the headquarter? Or will he lose against Garp and Sengoku?
I don’t think Oda will have time to finish this war in only 2 or 3 chapters, there are too many battles he has to solve, and he has to do it as well as he has developed the whole war. So my predictions/wishes for the next chapters are:
1- Shanks will fight against Akainu and will defeat him. Akainu is injured and tired, so I think Shanks (who is a younkou as whitebeard was) won’t have any problem to finish him.
2- Kurohige will lose against sengoku and Garp (I think marine can’t disappear now, it’s too early), but he will escape (’cause I think, Luffy is the one who will kill him).
3- This is not a prediction… I hope Oda will show as the “fight” between Kaidou and Shanks.
4- Shanks will meet Luffy, he took the strawhat, and I can’t imagine Luffy without it (remember Luffy said he would return ths strawhat to Shanks when he became the King of pirate’s), so, I don’t know how, and I don’t know when (I expect it will happen in the next 30 chapters), but they will meet.
5- I’m not sure it will happen, but it would be awesome if Law take Luffy to shabondy and Rayleigh train him in using haukushoku haki.

Actually Im pretty sure dat after Luffy goes 2the New World, he will eventually stumble upon lands belonging 2Shanks &then B re-united with him. Shanks will return the hat 2Luffy saying that he was only holding it 4him &can’t accept it back until Luffy becomes King.

While I love everything about One Piece, I kinda think that Shanks showing up is a bit silly. The war is already epic enough, Oda didn’t have to throw more awesomesauce in there.
I hope BB escapes, and that Sengoku remains undefeated. I also kinda believe that Shanks will visit Luffy and deliver the hat at the Archipelago while Luffy is still unconscious, so he never knew Shanks was there at all. That just seems to make sense to me.
And btw, do you guys think that Coby possesses mantra? That wierd power some shandians had that could detect other peoples “voices”? The stuff he said in chapter 579 sounded just like that… I think Coby should advance in rank sometime in the future, as well. He have to fight Luffy someday, like they promised. :D
I think there is something more crucial to why Shanks came to the war or something that might happen later. You must know that after this arc,there must be something else that must go on. So I guess I’ll have to say Shanks will help Luffy get his crew back or something similar to that.

the FINALE of this arc is near!.. what would be the ending in this arc??
I think the World Government will be Luffy’s ultimate enemy. They have many dark secrets which is yet to be revealed. True evil often hide beneath a mantle of virtue. The world government appears to be the crusader of justice, but their true intent is still a mystery.
I can see BB being a pawn of the Gorousei, which essentially rule the World Government. They have a very sinister presence and seems to be controlling things from behind the scenes. I can see Garp and other “good” Marines joining forces with Luffy in the future (like Coby and Smoker).
The current battle is just simply the beginning of a new era. I think more characters will possibly die to symbolize the “changing of the guards”. I think the “final battle” later in the series will involve the battle between good and evil with everyone in the world of one piece picking a side.
Oda mixes subtle foreshadowing and twists in every corner which makes One Piece unpredictably good.
BB is just a pirate who wants to be the pirate king.He and Luffy are like yin and yang..opposite sides of same coin.Thats why he is gonna be the final vilain.I dont think he has anything to do with the WG. However i too do believe there s gonna be an arc sooner or later where the gorousei will be the opponents and when this time comes i think Dragon will make his appearance and join the direct fight against the WG.
