I recently skimmed through the manga and came across something very peculiar and it really has caught my attention. During the Post-Enies Lobby Arc, there was a flash back of Robin’s past and the part that caught my attention was when Clover was trying to tell the Gorousei about the so called Void Century. In his speech, he stated that the World Government overthrew a flourishing country and thus the enemy of the WG is that country. He continued and stated that the key to solve what actually happened is to know the name of that once flourishing country and when he was about to say it, he was shot down.
I have hypothesized that the name of that country probably begins with a D. If you look back, almost all the people with the initial of D has either tried to directly oppose the WG. Luffy declared war on WG,Dragon is trying to overthrow it, BB totally hates it, Saul hated it, and now that leaves us with Garp, who we currently do not know if he really likes the doings of the WG or not. Now this leaves us to the question…What is Raftel? Where is it? I personally think Raftel is the so called once flourishing country. It probably got named Raftel by the WG and thus has an original which begins with a D!
