I’ll put this in a way you will understand. First of all, Ace didn’t betray Luffy or did he hate Luffy and neither has Luffy been chasing him throughout the whole story. In One Piece, Ace fell victim to the World Government, who apparently wanted to kill him and erase every last trace of his father’s lineage. Ace did not willingly go to the WG, in fact he actually got caught because he was protecting Luffy. Now here is the vital point: Luffy and Ace were raised together like brothers with actual lineage and were cared for the same. In Naruto, Naruto just said Sasuke was a brother to him because he lost his parents…Sasuke ignored him but Naruto persisted in been his friend and often chased after him..even hoping to be like him. This here is an obsession with a guy and I think you know what that translates to.
If you’ve read One Piece thoroughly, then you would have seen that Luffy did not want to save Ace in the beginning, he did not even bother to try and save him until the last minute when things started going bad. In Naruto however, Naruto jumped up right after Sasuke went to Orochimaru and started saying those stupid things he always say, “I’ll save you Sasuke, I promise.. I will go to the end of the worlds to save you even if it means dying…you’re a brother to me Sasuke and I love you!”
Luffy did not have an obsession with Ace and neither was he chasing after him throughout the whole series. He went after him because Ace got captured while he was trying to protect him and also because he did not want to see his brother die without even trying to save him.
Naruto has an obsession with Sasuke, he even chased after him when he willingly went to Orochimaru.. this is sinister to a guy who lost his girlfriend to someone and is trying as hard as he can to get her back. See what I’m saying? Naruto went pass the limit of ‘I’m going to save someone’ I thought it was cool at first that he was going to save his comrade until it just became too much..I’m going to save him and that..I love him..he’s my brother..*emotional crying* I’ll save him.. I know what he feels *crying again* I love you Sasuke! I’ll even save you even after you try to destroy my village..because I am your friend…come back to me Sasuke.. *The reason why Luffy collapsed was because he had been active from the Archipelago all the way down to Marineford, he witnessed his crew getting separated from him, he almost died against Magellan, lost years of his life span, faced the Admirals, finally rescued Ace and watched him die right in front of him trying to protect him! Luffy has a brain of a child and Luffy not liking Boa Hancook is a gag that runs in the story. Luffy’s brain is not mature enough to think of the possibilities. Also, Oda doesn’t like to have “romance” in his story because that is not what a shonen is about. The only romance in One Piece is the romance of adventure and fun!

I would commit suicide or something if Luffy turns into the next Sasuke. I want him to stay the same as before. I hope that he’ll get over his sorrow once he realises that Ace wouldn’t want him to feel sad forever. In his last breath, Ace even showed that he believed in Luffys dream of becoming Pirate King. So I think that Luffy will stay cheerful.
However, I do want him to meet Akainu again, and go all out on him for killing Ace. :P
I expect him to go a bit more serious, but yeah, at most part, I want him to stay the same cheerful and determined dude we all like. Perhaps after the flashbacks (I guess next 1-2 chapters will be flashbacks) he will go to find his crew (in a Boa saying they will go find him and Jinbei will help too or, Reylight somehow reaches Luffy and they go for the search.) so he will be better.

For some reason i think someone is going to tell Luffy if you keep on crying and just stand there you are just going to let your nakama have the same fate as Ace and that Ace wants him to continue living. I believe because this is Luffy’s first loved one who is dead he is going to get more stronger and protect his nakama so it won’t happen again instead of just getting revenge which won’t get Ace back.
I believe Oda is going to have a summarize backstory for Luffy now dealing with Luffy and Ace. I just hope it isn’t long though even i am starting to miss the others.

Thats pretty wierd. In various chapters, the call Dadan a him. Also i predicet that in the following chapter, it’s still going to be about their past, but after that Luffy will learn to not cry and maybe luffy will set out with Jinbei in search for his nakama.
Oh and didnt anybody notice that Luffy and Ace look almost exaclty alike even though they arent blood related.
yeah I noticed that too, but it was probably just because Oda wanted them to look similar since everyone thought they were real brothers for so long.
they should bring back the cover stories, it’s been a while…
luffy is recovered but still believe that ace is dead is a lie then finally admits ace is dead then cry about it then he have flashbacks and dadan is luffy and ace foster mother

it would be cool because sunny can fight the battleship on blackbeard’s crew.
but i think it is kind of not possible becuase the ship was already made with the rare tree and i doubt that he would rebuild part of the the ship. he will just add things to the ship from now on.
plus the transfomer looks more like a power ranger robot than a cool looking transformer.

hey guys. now that there are 3 available slots in the shichibukai, who do you think will the WG recruit? i think one of those would be kidd, as for the other 2, hmmm…
i think there will be no more sichibukai,…bcz if d WG still need sichibukai then why they shud order DD 2 kill Moria?,…n btw WG have another puppet that they can control 100% (pacifista),..(n if everytime WG lost a member sichibukai n they keep put another replacement then i think OP story will never end),….o_O
the shichibukai lost it’s meaning. Why would the WG continue after how blackbeard and croc abused their positions
My guess is that their will now only be 2 shichibukai position; Mihawk and Doflamingo. Posibly only 1 since I can imagine Mihawk leaving quite easilyy; Doflamingo was present for the killing of Moria so I’m pretty sure he’ll stay a shichibukai. The balance of power still exists though, since the WG now has the Pacifista which are just as good, if not better than shichibukai because they will follow any order and not cause problems. None of the Rookies will become shichibukai (some think they will) because we have already seen all of them headed to the new world.

I will agree with you guys too… who believe that one of the Yonkou Big MOM is probably Dadan. It makes alot of sense to introduce a new character whose face was hidden til now.
