whats with the monkey family.. only a scar on their left side of the face are similar…
otherwise you wont recognize that they are connected to each other, their eyes, nose, face and body are different.. no similarities.. unlike ussop and yassop.. you can tell that they are father and son (different in the nose), robin and her mother, different color of hair but they have the same body and face..
maybe they get their looks on the mother's side.. lol..
maybe when luffy get aged then he will get a big body like garp, he will become nightmare luffy again.. but thats ugly for a gomu gomu user.. wahehehe..

I would prefer if Oda tell us about Luffy's crews and their journey in cover story, such as Buggy or Enel story…
so.. even though Luffy's past is very very long, we're not so bored to follow…

honestly no the chapter that hes breaking everything in sight then breaking down crying is the emotional healing and probably got it all out once we get out of the flashback so oda doing that kind thing with luffy would be out of char
on a side note i'm not trying to bash naruto but him as a main char was kinda lame but after the hyperventilating well it destroyed the rest of my respect for him as the main lead please don't bash me just saying

Luffy just watched his brother die in his arms. I can't imagine how painful that must be. minos is right though, breaking everything in sight then breaking down crying is emotional healing that is absolutely necessary for Luffy to move on.
I honestly expect another 2-3 chapters of Luffy's flashback of Ace, before returning back to present time at Amazon Lilly.
It could get rather long, actually. Robins flashback was long as hell. And Frankys was pretty long, too. Not that I'm that much against a flashback, but I'd rather see the present storyline right now.
One Piece can never be as gay as Naruto. I used to like the series, before it went haywire with Sasuke and all that. D:
