Luffy and co are shown performing no-good deeds around the area (Luffy not being able to beat Ace once is shown as well)

They hav multiple books on DF, U could easily just study them. I think Garp mayB gav Ace, Roger’s old DF as a gift from his father when he came of age. He probably didn’t kno Ace would take it and then leave 2become a pirate.

I don’t really understand all the fuss. For the last year (since around June 2009 I believe) we have had non stop action weekly, more fights, more drama and more villians in the space of one arc than I’d thought possible.
I’m amazingly happy for this slow period, any more action would detract from the awesome stuff we’ve already seen. We need a break period so when we see that kind of stuff again, we don’t just think “same old same old”.
I totally agree, but i guess the majority of the people here are stupid and have attention spans of a fly.
They want it to be like Bleach and no story….

Im sure Sabo will play a big role in Luffy ‘s rise to Pirate King. He might even join Luffy’s crew ~ But its crazy to think Ace is really dead…. I do believe he will rise again. Maybe thru Brooke’s 2nd time resurrection DF power ~ (you never know with this mangas)

I disagree, Ur thinking wit Ur heart rite now, but I believe Ace is truly gone and Big Mom is just gettin a lot of attention due to the new mention of her name. I doubt she will hav anything 2do wit Luffy. I believe she will probably B an obstacle for Luffy to conquer. And wit Luff’s progress I wouldn’t B surprised if he makes an unlikely ally out of Kaidou. But it is 2B assured Luffy will hav to either B-come a YonKou or leave the New World and gain a reputation lyk Dragon’s.

in the current chapter sabo said he wanted to e a navigator a second swords or a second long range person sure but theres only one navigator and unless luffy drops nami and gos with sabo which i doubt same with him being alive its not possible

Actually Sabo never said anything about being a navigator. We don’t even know if he’s experienced at navigation. Ace just assumed dat he would B the Captain and Sabo would B his navigator, probably cuz he was stronger than Sabo and Ace probably had poor navigation skills. Sabo wanted 2B a writer, if I remember correctly. Plus he was already an extremely good theif. He could easily come to the SH crew as a theif or assassin or a writer that will tell of the crew’s exploits. Thou 4him 2B an assassin Im assuming he’s learned 2kill and upgraded him from a theif.

my bad i guess but i really don’t think him being taken away the sabo incident i think its something darker and he dies and to be honest poeple are heavily jumping the gun on the sabo train even saying hes a yankyou or hes law I’m not taking the sabo theory’s seriously with all this random suggestion because they like the char so until this flashback ends it be stupid to really give any joining theory’s yet we seen how oda does flashbacks its like that omen when you see crow then someone dies lol
Very True, whenever Oda does flashbacks some1 usually dies but this time I think Ace is the one that died and this is just sum history on him. But calling this the “Sabo incident” isn’t helping anything. U make it sound lyk these events lead directly 2his death. Theories R wat make forums, I enjoy the reasonable theories. But it a lil’ too early 2start theories since we don’t even hav all the info yet.

when ace said the sabo incident and the fact the char flashbacks are kinda morbid most of the time its seem kinda given but i’m not really making any scenarios or theory on what kind of incident but the other thoerys are kinda far fetechted i do like theory’s but if they they have lots of plot holes in them i do get annoyed so don’t mind me when i do rant about those things lol
Ace never mentioned Sabo. Not in his time in the present storyline. In fact, the fact that he didn’t means that he either didn’t think of him during his final hours or that Sabo is already gone.
-But in One Piece flashbacks R usually morbid events that ruin an otherwise joyous occasion or series of events and used 2provide info and foreshadow. But in this case I feel its backwards as this flashback seems 2B a Joyous event that will B used 2provide info and foreshadow after an utterly morbid occasion.

i don’t know about hat to be honest i think there’s more to it than that from what we have seen from luffy if someone decides leave him he goes after them naiom stole his ship and used him but he still thought of her as a comrade same with robin he kept on going to save them even if they pretty much said fuck off so seeing sabo just being taken away doesnt seem like something he would just watch and not do anything about it it seems so uncharacteristic of luffy es oda is unpredictable with story but his the char personality’s are predicable so luffy and ace letting there brother doesn’t seem like the real sabo thing to me one piece wise respectively
there was tthat time with ussop but zoro stopped him with that he would all respect as a captian but luffy still wanted him back zoro is the one who stopped him but ace is as bad as luffy when a person there close to is hurt and such

I thought Rayleigh already said Roger did not have a power? And if Roger did have a power like the Gum Gum fruit or Fire like ace everyone would know about it. Roger didnt have a devil fruit… but he did have the power to hear all things ~ just like Luffy has . I really do believe Roger has the abilities too…

No he doesn’t. Luffy doesn’t hav any form or sort of mantra. And he’s never understood or talked to any animal other than Chopper. Luffy’s never used any other language and neither did Roger. Rayliegh even said once that though Roger could read and write in the language of the poneglyph’s due to his ability to hear the voice of all things, Roger couldn’t actually decipher the poneglyph’s.

Whats up with Big Mom? I thought we all thought she was that ugly girls (the one from thriller bark)mom. I doubt she is luffy’s mom. I think luffys mom just like Ace’s mom died somehow. It would make sense for luffy’s mom to be a pirate or a revolutionary because that would be the only reason why garp would give him to Dadan. But i dont think so.

Luffy didn’t forget Coby cuz he had just met him earlier that year. If it had been 10 years, Coby would’ve been a thing of the past. Much like Sabo.

i really doubt luffy would forget about his own brother yes hes stupid but he remembers shanks he hasn’t seen him in 10 years because he made an impact on luffy then we have sabo which actully part of his childhood and became his brother i’m sorry hes not that forgetful about his childhood he still remembers being tortured by garp probably a couple years back from before he met ace and sabo so him forgetting a brother is kinda doubtful
Hmm would be pretty awesome/resonable if the intro voice guy in every episode is actually sabo ahhahaha. Since he wants to be a writer, he could be the one telling the story about luffy and his crew.
