残月の世界に入った苺。以前と同じビル群かとおもいきや、全てが水の中。
息苦しくなり水面にでようともがく苺を誰かがつかんでビルに投げ飛ばす。
苺を投げ飛ばしたフードを目深に被った男は苺に見苦しいぞ、呼吸ならできるはずだという。
呼吸できることに気付いた苺は、その男に何者かきく。
フードの男は息の仕方を教えた恩人に随分な口の利きようだだといいながら天鎖残月をだしフードを外す。
若い青年の顔をした男は卍解状態でここへくるのははじめてだからわからんのも無理はないというと苺に襲い掛かる。
苺がそれを刀で受け止めながらあんた残月か！？ととうが、違うと答え、私は「天鎖残月」だと名乗る。
一心、苺が入ったのを確認すると今回の残月は暴れるぞ、俺の?月もそうだった、こいつらは俺達にこの技を教えたくないんだ、理由はすぐわかるとつぶやく。
苺、今回は戦いに来たわけじゃない、ただ訊きたいだけなんだと残月を諭そうとする。
最後の天鎖残月のことかといいながら再び斬りかかる残月。
何すんだという苺に、お前にそんなものを教えるわけにはいかないと答えると、
空座町を護るためには教えてもらわなきゃいけねえんだ！と残月にむかっていく。
それをお前の護りたいものなど知ったことかといいながらビルにたたきつける残月。
思い違うなよ、お前の護りたいものが私の護りたいものではないのだつづける苺。
空座町、目覚めて歩き回る一般人のリーマン。
角を曲がったところで愛染をみつけ、これがどうなってるか知らんかときくが、
近づくなと一言だけ答えた愛染は男の横を通り過ぎる。
するとその男の体が左半分が消えてなくなり崩れ落ちる。
愛染は、霊圧知覚を持たぬ人間は私の力は感じないが、霊体そのものが私の力に耐えられないのだと説明。
その愛染の歩いた道の後には愛染の力に耐えられず、リーマンの様に死んだ死体が無数。
愛染の目先にまた人が。ギンが向こうのほうにも起きてる子がいてますねというと、
ウルキオラの眼で見た覚えがある、あれは黒崎苺の仲間だよという言葉と、たつきで次号。
背表紙は腰の部分だけの平子。

Ichigo enters Zangetsu’s world. It seems to be the same cluster of buildings as before, but everything is in water.
A suffocating Ichigo looking for the water surface then gets hurled at a building.
The one who hurled Ichigo is some boy wearing a hood low over his eyes and calls him ‘unsightly’, saying that he should’ve figured out how to breathe already.
While Ichigo figures this out, he asks the guy who he is.
Even though the hooded guy is his benefactor for teaching him how to breathe and while he’s telling him this eloquently, he removes the Tensa Zangetsu.
A young man’s face wearing the Bankai release says, “If you didn’t understand since the beginning, that’s simply overdoing it,” while he swoops down for an attack on Ichigo.
Ichigo, while stopping his sword, asks, “Are you Zangetsu?!”. “No”, answers the boy, “I’m [Tensa Zangetsu]“, he says, introducing himself.
Isshin, who said “This Zangetsu’s going to be violent” while confirming Ichigo’s progress, “My (en?)Getsu was just like that, murmurs “They don’t teach these skills to us, but you’ll know soon enough why”.
“This time, I don’t have a reason to fight, but I just wanted to ask you” Ichigo tells Zangetsu as if in rebuke, “what the final form of Tensa Zangetsu is”, but once again, Zangetsu attacks him.
Ichigo says, “What the hell are you doin”, but he answers, “I don’t have a reason to teach you that.” Ichigo replys, “I have to protect Karakura town, that’s why I have no choice!”
“Do you know what it is that you really want to protect?” asks Zangetsu while he throws him into a building.
“You misunderstand, there’s nothing that you want to protect that I don’t want to protect” continues Ichigo.
Karakura town, an awake person is pacing to and fro (Riemann?).
The composition of the panel is that he sees Aizen, then I don’t know but somehow, with one word, Aizen passes by the guy’s side.
And then the guy’s entire left side disappears and he crumbles over.
Aizen explains that, “Any human who can’t perceive my reiatsu, won’t be able to withstand the spiritual pressure I create.”
And because of this, along the road that Aizen walked, there’s a countless number of corpses strewn about.
Aizen sees a person before him, and mentions to Gin, “That awakened child over there, I remember from Ulquiorra’s eyeball, it’s Kurosaki Ichigo’s nakama” and then it shows Tatsuki. To be continued.

Isshin’s sword’s name is Engetsu.
Zangetsu becomes younger.
It seems his appearance changes when going bankai.
Aizen finds Tatsuki.
The color page is Ichigo, Renji, Rukia, Inoue, and a couple of people too small to make out, surrounding a gigantic 2-headed bird.
It ends when Aizen finds Tatsuki so I don’t know about Mizuiro,
just that until he found her he was killing all the people who were awake and moving around.

Everyone makes the comment on how ichigo looks comaprable to Kaien. And If we make that assumption that ichigo is related to him, its not from his fathers side apparently, because of what was said about their zanpaktou names. So he could be related to Kaien from his mothers side, since we dont know anything about her. That would give him High spiritual pressure like the shiba clan and give him his zanpaktou name from his dads and aizens noble family.
i wonder what it is Zangetsu wants to protect?

i think there is more to that pride part. there was a flashback in OP and there will be a flashback in Naruto now. so there has to be a flashback to explain the protection stuff in bleach too. idk w/e

I think Ichigo’s real bankai is the two birds we see On the cover page of 409. Its not the first time we have seen a cover page that resembles an aspect of ichgo’s upcoming power.

i think there’s something to do with his hollow form. Ulqoria even said his hollow form was part of his zanpaktou. that they were one or something.
Also i dont think its a coincidence that ichigo’s bankai is black yet hollow is white.

and maybe this is the reason ukitake advised kyoraku not to release his bankai where others can see
some kind of power that may affect even allies because of katen kyokotsu personality
maybe they did, and maybe that’s the reason why you need at least ten years to master your bankai. so far, four of those we know who has bankai but hasn’t fully mastered it are “weak” in comparison with the rest – hitsugaya, ichigo, ikkaku, and renji.
or if they hadn’t, maybe it’s a step towards becoming a royal guard., although i don’t believe that senior captains like yamamoto, kyoraku, ukitake, and unohana haven’t done this yet.
so far, isshin hinted in this issue that he mastered his engetsu using this method so that may be the reason why he is at par with hogyoku-aizen using only flash steps and sword skills. look at isshin, not a scratch after hogyoku-aizen attacked him.
maybe zangetsu want to protect ichigo and his spirit that may be shattered when ichigo face aizen and his ultimate power destroying everything he holds dear
and also ichigo’s life because if one or both of those are broken well so is zangetsu

i have a lil theory, what if like someone stated before Aizen is actually related to Ichigo and Isshin, now what if what Zangetsu wanted to protect (assuming they are related and that whole Getsu deal where their Zans are also related or summin might be correct) the family (a main reason why Zangetsu was born at all or woke up atleast) or summin, meaning Zangetsu wont teach him because hes tryin to fight family, there for its because he has to fight Aizen that Zangetsu is like na cant do it, its alot of what ifs, but i think id like to see it where Aizen is somewhat protected within the reasoning u know where Ichigo has to convice him or summin idk just a thought.
also pretty surprised that nobody has compared Tensa Zangetsu to a younger Byakuya…thats what i thought at first glance.

I always thought that Ichigo had to beat aichan, mostly because aichan zanpakuto ended with a getsu (moon) and Ichi s zanpakuto s name was zangetsu (moon cutting, roughly translated) but now it is said that Isshin papa s zanpakuto is Engetsu (probbly using the kanji for fire) and aichans is suigetsu (with the kanji for water) opposing powers
I now think that aichan being related to ichi has the most logic, and my theory is that Aizen and Isshin papa were related,
i stand by the thought that Ichi s mom was of royal blood and lost her powers (or rather passed them on) giving birth to ichi, i digress…
Aichan wanted to marry Ichi s mom but isshin beat him to it and the newly wed Kurosakis were thrown out of SS, aichan saw his disire of marring to the royal family cut off so he started plan B, and he is now a demi god.
About zangetsu and ichi, if isshin papa was one of the royal guard, and the last getsuga is a technique that would even harm its user, and the zangetsus are born to protect the royal family, ichis zangetsu would be absolutely against teaching ichigo, probbly a prince, a technique that could harm him.
aichan s obbsession toward ichigo may be a very twisted way to hold on to the woman he loved (kind of).
the plot is a little thiker in my head but since it is too shoujo ish im discarding it.

Kubo is the kind of person that emphasizes with bad guys. It’s like eventually we’ll even feel pity for the bad guys. Look at Nnoitra. He was the biggest jerk in Bleach history, but at the moment of his death his fanbase grew and people were feeling sorry with him.
So my point is I think some injustice had been done to Aizen. Eventually we’ll feel sorry for Aizen as well. I think at some moment in the manga. Isshin said to ryuken you are a bad father. Ryuken replied on it and said not as bad as some things you have done in the past. Isshin agreed on that. I think Isshin has something to do with Aizens hatred.
Well imo i dont think Aizen is that evil.
I mean he hasnt ‘intentionally’ killed anyone yet.
His goal is to become a god, perhaps he sees the world as it is now as cruel and unfair or unjust.
It is never stated that Aizen was going to be an evil god/ruler.
But think about it – the only reason there has been death is because there has been opposition. He even said “don’t come any closer” to a human who was about to die from his spiritual pressure.
Aizen’s also depicted showing empathy to hollows. Saying that he gave the souls meaning and hope – for which would of previously been seen as souls that needed to be exterminated.
There’s proof from bleach that hollows, arrancar, espada do have a conscious mind and feelings – and infact are almost forced into a world of blindness and death.
Ichigo wants to protect Rukia, period. ;)

nahh…aizen is the SS king’s Son.it all begun 250 years ago..when Sosuke aizen was born, everyone in the royal family were happy :) (: but the king himself didnt like his son and thought he was too evil so he started raping him and as a result aizen becoming homo.Aizen hated his father so much but he didnt showed it to him and acted like a normal happy son :).So he became a shinigami and his massive hatred crated the Kyoka Suigetsu.now a fully mature Aizen wanting to murder his father and become the king himself thus revenging….started plotting against his father.He started looking for nakama(crew-friends)he eventually found the blind Kaname Tosen and took him at his side by offering him Light.He came across a young Genius boy ( and the most cool character after aizen ) Ichimaru Gin who was only 10 years old.things didnt went well at the begining so he started improvizing.He was the Vice captain of the 5th squad then but aiming to become a captain so he could have privacy and could easily plan without suspisions.By finding the Hougyoku he created Hollowification which he used on his captain and many others who would later become known as the Vizards.Now having a powerfull army called the Arrancar and his personal guards the Espadas he started a war against Soul Society in order to infiltrate Karakura Town and create the King’s Key. Zangetsu once said, when you’re sad it is raining in this world. I guess Ichigo really felt down and thats why his world is full with water. Tensa Zangetsu wants to protect that world I believe because it is falling apart.

the reason aizen has that wierd look when he asks or talks to gin as if he does not trust him is because gin is strange. The Higyoku reads the hearts of people, and when ichigo fought gin he said that he could learn a lot about a person by crossing swords with them, and that when he fought gin he “couldn’t see ANYthing”. Since the Higyoku is fused with aizen he should be able to read gin’s true heart but he can’t, just like ichigo. So……. if gin does anything either good or bad to the good side or bad side, it will be hard to know. It’s a cat.
