Minato is stone faced (I think like poker faced) as the 9tails violently rampages.

Shikamaru’s dad and Chouji’s dad watch the fight.
{Before people jump to conclusions, it’s unclear who punches who at that point, although I believe it to be the masked guy getting hit, it might be Minato getting wailed on. It might be better to wait for someone else to confirm or deny that part.}
The masked man gets behind but Minato looks behind and punches him.
{This part is a pain in the rear, so take it with a grain of salt}
Lightning strikes and Minato jumps out of the way [using hiraishin maybe, i'm, not sure.] The masked man manages to follow him.
Minato asks again, “Are you Madara”, but again he gives no real answer.
The masked man tries to tie Minato up with chains, but he escapes using hiraishin.
Minato appears and throws his special kunai at the masked man, but it slips through him.
As it passes through the masked man, Minato attacks with a Rasengan from behind.
Minato says “there’s two levels to Hiraishin”

You know, in every image I’ve seen of Madara (young & with out a mask) they show him with his left eye exposed & his right eye covered by hair. But this new Tobi/Madara only shows his right eye & covers his left with the mask.
Is it possible that Madara & Izuna (Madara’s younger brother) traded 1 eye with each other instead of Izuna sacrificing both eyes for Madara? And that Tobi is actually Izuna getting revenge for their sacrifice of an eye in order to protect the village (Uchiha were the police force) only to have his brother killed & clan demoted to ‘watch dogs.’
This would account for Tobi’s knowledge of the past, his age, skill & sharingan. It also makes sense that if Izuna was thought to have been killed by Madara that he would wear a mask, in hiding.
Using this theory Kabuto could have shown Izuna Madara’s bondy in the hidden Edo Tensei coffin.
Someone has said that Tobi might be Izuna but no one really gave a good reason why. Thats pretty good i could easily see that happening. Good theory

Is anyone under the assumption that there’s something about Sasuke that’s making everyone want to use him so badly? I know he’s one of two Uchiha left, and now he’s going to have the final form of the Sharingan. But there seems to be more to it than just that. Could it be that he contains the other half of the Kyuubi’s chakra? It was assumed that the Yondaime sealed that away when he used Shiki Fujin, but what if that’s not true?

It has nothing to do with the 9Tails Chakra. If he did have anything in him Itachi would know, and would have removed it when he removed Orochimaru, and Karin would sence something, she only sensed it was getting darker.
And he’s not just one of the only Uchihas left, he also is a genius of the Uchiha clan.

madara [or whom ever it really is] is wearing a mask, and his body is covered by a full robe, what if any physical expressions will you see?? a few chapters back, he lost his arm, and you didnt see any real reaction, i mean, he kicked his arm at his opponent, and didnt seem hurt at all, and that for anyone would be beyond pain.. also we have yet to see him use any genjutsus.. especially as a diversion or as a false visual..
im going to have to go with no at a genjutsu.. also it looks like the rasengan smashes thru his spinal cord or something..

I have tought about it, but that theory is immediately proven untrue because the masked man removed his mask when he introduced himself as Uchiha Madara to Sasuke right after Itachi died. If he was one of Sasuke’s parents he would be recognized by him.

The eyes of the guy who claims to be Madara look very much like the real Madara.
Maybe its just a coincidence that Sasuke’s parents were away during the fox attack and the fact that the masked man knew Kushina was giving birth to a child, or perhaps his parents helped the masked man by telling him about Kushina.
