Bonney says she’ll never forgive them. Looks like Bonney holds some importance to WG.
I’m really out of time, skimming through Chopper’s scene, he returned to the island since he now has something he must do there. He’s going to research the plants on the island which all have potential to be very powerful medicines.

1)shiki has to touch something first before he can levitate it and he cant create what we saw above the roockie’s ship
2)Shiki was foung and captured by the marine vice admirals at the end of the strong world film.

It could be Blackbeard by the looks of it, but my opinion is that it was yet another atrange phenomenon of some new world island.
maybe you didnt notice the round rock structure was floating and easily controlled by someone or something… but it had suction devices protruding outward…

So its a theory and a possibility that Shiki is still around.

I don’t think it’s Enel. They refer to the first half of the Grandline as paradise compared to the New World. I wouldn’t doubt that several islands are similar (not that they have lightening shooting down like this one, but some other elemental obstacle)to this particular island. Enel was an idiot and flew to the moon. My guess is he didn’t make it as he would probably die from lack of oxygen but then again I’m not Oda so I can’t say.
Regarding Kuma, I mean who knows. Dragon may know something, at least it seemed to be implied that he did. It would be a really cool twist if Vegapunk was trying to work with the rebels but if he was stuck working for the WG due to them having some sort of leverage. I mean the WG is pretty damn evil from what we’ve been shown.

Moria is definitely alive as he was protected by his shadow and vanished. Remember when Luffy was fighting him in the thriller bark arc? He trapped Luffy inside the shadow and was able to transfigure him to flat surface to pulp and pound.
I also think it will be quite a while when the crew finally meets up. I think Rayleigh has advised Luffy to defer the crew from joining yet till they all have become stronger and readier to tackle the dangers of the New World. The proof of this is that he returned with the Kuja Pirates’ back to amazon lilys island. If he intended for his crew to eventually meet up then it makes no sense to not go to Shabondy Archipelago because its close to Marineford.
Besides Luffy could just have had his wounds healed in Place of Shakki.
Rayleigh going with him posits that he will train luffy though I dont see it will be shown by Oda.
Whats puzzling though is that Kuma returned to Shabondy Archipelago to protect the ship of the strawhats. It couldnt be that hell be destroying that because the ship is made from rare adam tree and if it were to be destroyed it will mean that they will have to return to water seven and find a new ship which will not add to the current plot.
So the main reason he’s there is because he is probably under orders of Dragon to protect the ship or compelled to protect it in the first place. He probably joined the shichibukai just so the Dragon will also have intel from the inside and the goings on in the World Government and the marines.
With three shichibukai positions up for grabs, one can only opin who Oda will fill in those key spots. A theory floating is that Buggy may eventually join the ranks due to his exposure in the war at the summit although he definitely is weak hearted.
With Admiral Sengoku resigning his post, I believe the issue for this weeks op will certainly reference to him resigning and that will also come as a shock to the whole of the marines. I do not know if Ao Kiji becoming fleet admiral will bade well with Sakazuki and Borsalino because it will mean the two will have to obey him now as their commander. And who could probably replace Ao place in the three-man admiral team? I would like that to be Vice Admiral Momonga by any chance.
I personally think Akainu did much more in the war, mortally wounding Whitebeard and giving alot of hell on the pirates who joined the war. Probably he was not chosen by Sengoku due to his radical form of justice where he even executes other marines. Though Sengoku choosing Ao Kiji is probably because of his level headedness or cool demeanor. Probably because his an ice man.
And finally what is Bonnies relevance to the World Government?
This is a good development of plot that can be used by Oda to further expand the universe of one piece.
Id say itll be ten chapters or more before the crew finally meets up, because it will focus on:
Nami becoming stronger with weather techniques and other stuff
Zorro training it out on the baboons on Mihawks turf. Hell Mihawk may just train him anyhow.
Chopper mastering the new medicines in the island plus using new powerful weapons.
Ussop becoming stronger and agile in Boin island.
Robin, might just meet up with Dragon or not.
Brook becoming stronger though too little data to surmise how he will do it.
Franky using some of the advance ideas to create a stronger body for himself. So I guess hell stay with the futuristic island still.
And finally this whole post-war arc is focused on upgrades. Please leave a comment on my thought. thanks.

do you guys think zoro will learn to use haki while on the island with mihawk, i think maybe mihawk may give him a weapon or teach him some moves but i feel if he’s gonna be strong enouhg to help out in the new world he has to learn to use haki he already shows signs of it but they always describe it as murderous intent, but him and sanji have to learn it and maybe even usopp i think since it would help with his shooting. And dont you think its about time someone told luffy about his haki, i always felt his dad would tell him or shanks would teach him how to control it but i dont think he will meet up with either of them again for a while.
I think Zoro and Luffy have already been using Haki and not known it. Mihawk did comment on his will when they first met. At times when Zoro and Luffy were getting their asses totally kicked they would finish the fight on pure willpower alone. I think it’s been an underlying and unspoken power they’ve been developing, which is why those two have been so damn strong. It seems to only come out at the pinnacle of battle though, like a reflex. Just something I’ve noticed wether it was intended or not. But, yes I do think he will get some sort of boost thanks to the gorillas and Mihawk. Mihawk does want him to surpass him afterall. :)
zoro will definitely learn haki, just like Vista of the Whitebeard pirates he’ll be able to attack a logia type without haki zoro will be useless against a logia
coby already has it now after his what he did during the war and i’m sure he will learn to use it and ascend up the ranks of the navy and maybe become the youngest admiral or vice admiral. i see oda is setting the stage for a luffy and coby showdown but i dont think they will fight each other but maybe together defeat blackbeard or something else i dont see coby defeating luffy.
Even though Coby and Luffy are both good guys i think they have to fight. The fact is Coby is the law and whether is a nice guy or not he is still a pirate that does not follow the law. Coby has to have a showdown where (i agree with you on this)Luffy will win but coby will definitely rise in the ranks of the marines.
i agree the garp roger relationship was sort of like theres an unspoken respect between great rivals, zoro and sanji have to have haki otherwise they are useless against most logia types.
Zoro doesn’t need haki, Mihawk from wat we can tell doesn’t hav haki so Y does Zoro need it.
Evry 1 keeps saying that they need haki 2fight these logia types but forget that Logia types R extremely rare, the only thing more rare being Mythical Zoan type.

I personally believe that Coby is being setup as an ally more than a rival. I mean, Luffy is referred to as the man that Roger was waiting for. Smoker is closer in to Luffy relation to the bond that Roger and Garp shared as rivals. I believe that the history and background we’re seeing in One Piece is for a basis of comparison. I believe that Luffy’s story is a completely new one, kind of like like Neo in the Matrix (only not as lame) and I believe Coby is being setup as a powerful ally among enemies. Coby so far has been a little annoying with all his crying and wining, but he has always respected Luffy and looked up to him. Maybe Coby’s Haki switch was hit when Luffy knocked him on his ass in the WB battle. :) Just another thing to thank him for. :)
I agree 4the most part, but I don’t think Coby will raise in the ranks as fast as evryone suspects. I think he and Helmeppo will train in haki & rokushiki under Garp. I wanna C if Sengoku will help in their training, &how he will handle his retirement.

I’m sure Sengoku will help with the training, but since all Vice Admirals and above can use Haki, I believe Coby definitely has a fighting chance of rising up in the ranks. I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that he has Garps support, but who knows what effect Helmeppo will have on his advancement. He is kind of a jealous piece of work. Hopefully Coby stops crying so damn much. It’s getting annoying (well been annoying).

Not really, Smoker barely made Commodore, and he didn’t really even deserve it. Commodore being an actuall high rank just B4 Rear Admiral. Coby’s nowhere near Smoker’s lvl and I think he’ll need a lot more training B4 he even gets any troops under him

smoker is Luffy’s rival in the marines not Coby.
Smoker will climb the ranks fast and reach admiral level in order to keep persuing the SHs.
His motive is clear plus he doesnt care much about career just like Garp.He only wants to capture Luffy.

Smoker is the only marine that has cornered Luffy on more than one occasion. Note that even in the WB battle he got his hands on Luffy and would have had him if not for Boa. They have a mutual respect for eachother that was clear as day during the Crocodile arc. Coby has never been in direct competition with Luffy. Luffy helped him get into the marines, then he owned his face in water 7, and then cock slapped him in the WB battle. Coby is not any resemblance of a rival. Smoker, however respects him but is determined to catch him. He has gotten stronger for the sole purpose of catching Strawhat. Thanks to Luffy he has decided to rise in the ranks to catch him in the new world (please don’t ask for reference, these were small and short instances throughout. If you doubt what i’m saying then re-read the manga and you’ll see) :)
One easy reference would be the fact that he stayed in Loguetown for years (and was obviously bored) preventing pirates from going to the grand line. That is… until Luffy got away from him with Dragon’s help.

Oda Does A Very Good Job By Keeping Everyone In The Crew Strong And Relevant For The Story! But The Main Characters Are Still Sanji, Zorro And Luffy! And All 3 Of Them Are Going To Learn Haki In My Opinion.
But I Think Only Luffy And Zorro Will Learn The Superior Haki.
Zorro Was Most Of The Fights Already Wounded And Still Kept On Fighting. The Coolest Moment From Zorro Was When Have His Upper Body Was Cut Off From Mihawk And He Fought Arlong And He Starred At HIm With A Cold Ass Look , Like” I Will Fuck You Up”!
Another Reason Why Zorro Will Learn Haki In My Opinion Is That He Already Was Fighting For Luffy More Than The Others And Was Willing To Sacrafice Himself For Luffy. And I Know Sanji And Probably The Others Would Have Done The Same But He Even Withstood The Damge From Kuma And Said To The Others That Nothing Had Happened!
Now If That Isn’t Bad Ass Enough I Don’t Know What Is More Bad Ass!

I believe Zoro and Luffy more so than anybody else, though I do believe most will be able to use Haki by the end of the Grand Line. Luffy has a small crew and they all need to be strong. I don’t think Zorro will attain the same Haōshoku Haki that Luffy has since only 1 in a million can use this. I do believe he will attain a very high level of Haki though. You’re absolutely right about who the “muscle” is on the crew. Everyone has their own roles and the fighters are the fighters. It will be cool to see if Chopper perfects his rumble balls and can control his huge form. If so then it would be nice for the SH crew to have friggin King Kong on their side. It’s really nice to see some potential power-ups coming soon.

The flashbacks are really cool, but having read the manga it is sooooo painful waiting for all of the best moments in the battle. It’s like watching a highlights reel before watching the big football game. You can’t wait to see that 95 yard return you saw on sports center, even though the rest of the game is still epic. I re-read the battle a couple of times now that we’ve been waiting and it is such a long battle! These next few weeks are going to be tough for impatient folks like myself. :)
mr mcdonald havent you been reading the manga did you miss the war when luffy faced mihawk, he used his haki then multiple times i believe, mihawk definitely has haki. but your wrong about everyone having haki, everyone has some sort of will but only few have haki, if you read the manga during the war with whitebeard and the marines alot of the pirates who were in the new world did not have it proven by the fact that they could not hit akainu, kizaru and akoji. all the marines are not able to utilize it either, but all the red hair pirates have it proof of this is when ben beckman points his gun at kizaru and he momentarily stops. because just like the kuja pirates and other amazon women they infuse their haki into the weapons they use, the only way to defeat a logia is haki or to fight him with the elements weakness.
Ur completely wrong my friend, on almost all counts. Mihawk has never shown a single instance of having haki. When fighting Luffy (a DF user) Mihawk attacks though he was unable 2cut Buggy who intercepted the attack, which would mean he didn’t hav haki. When attempting his strongest slash at WhiteBeard(DF user) in order 2measure the distance between their powers, Mihawk was unable 2cut Jozu who intercepted the attack, which would yet again mean he doesn’t hav haki.
And haki is something that evryone has(all humans hav it anyway), and must B learned and utilized, thou most never do.
-Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of high lvl haki that only one in a million ppl R born wit.
And only Shanks has been shown from the Red Hair crew 2hav haki. Kizaru is a playful person, and the reason Y he stopped is unknown. It might’ve been just 4fun, it might’ve been cuz Beckman might B able 2infuse his bullets wit haki, or it might’ve been that Beckman has kairoseki bullets(which sounds more lykly 2me).
Nxt time plz do Ur research, and read the manga carefully B4 spouting off such non-sense.

Actaully from wat we kno about Shanks, it can B inferred that he didn’t truly master his haki until after the Sea King took his arm. And he went 2 seek out Rayliegh, most lykly 4 training in haki.
Thou yes, he was able 2use it 2scare away the Sea King but if he already had it mastered then the bandits that took Luffy should’ve fell unconsious upon his arrival, & the Sea King should’ve been scared away upon his presence and never hav gotten close enough 2take Shanks arm.

Haki is needed in new world, i mean normal haki so i think all strawhats would learn it eventually and luffy having a superior haki than others like shanks. Without haki there is no way for them to kick logias. Most new world pirates have haki.

u dont need haki to survive in the new world, just look at mihawk for example he doesnt have haki (or not known to us if he does), doesnt have a devil fruit, but he survives easily in the new world. look at brownbeard im rely sure he doesnt have haki, or croc. in order to survive in the new world u just have to be STRONG thats it. haki just helps in ur survival if u have it but like i said u dont need it if ur strong.

I honestly don’t know why no one else mentions that. It makes perfect sense to use seastone to make weapons (or infuse them etc) cause then anybody can hurt logia user or zoan users (in Marco’s case). This theory makes me think the SHs will definently add a crew member when they go to merman island so that they can get seastone for the thousand sunny and for weapons.
i agree. i was thinking someone would use seastone to trapped df user, just like hina’s prison trap. then someone else can finish the job.
but it’s unlikely, because that would be cheat, and i dont think Oda would do that.
i have another idea though. Didn’t usopp still have the dials from skypea, why not utilize impact dial to its full potential? so far he only use it to fight luffy.
Oda definently should I mean weapons can be made from seastone in the case of Smoker’s sword so why not coat zoros swords with seastone or something. It’s a good question why usopp doesn’t use the impact dial though, such a waste. Maybe he learns to use it to his full potential when he gets off that island hes on.

you know, haki isn’t the only thing that can used against logia. there’s essentially one thing that can defeat logia, and even all kind of df. it’s called seastone. i wonder if oda will create a character who specialize in controlling seastone as weapon (more than smoker). maybe usopp can do that.

sorry but he is right mihawk uses haki but not so much a kuja pirates and we dont know all that much about haki yet so mabye u will get fyscial tired of it and i dont think its good idea to tire yourself out on such a battlefield

on topic- the thoery about haki being vital in the new world is nonsense!! as far as we know, no1 taught the rookies about this special power. so that would mean the other rookies wont be able to survive in the new world and as we can see oda need the rookies to make the history progress.
well i dont know if im correct but i think haki is not something u can learn. Actually i guess that haki is some kind of inner energy that every1 already possesses- its only that they hav not awaken it. According to the manga, i deduce that haki can only be awaken after some emotional events….. such as coby in the battle or luffy at the kuja island
I am so confused, like Zoro would train for a stronger, perhaps with a baboon or may be trained by milhawk. Zoro will defeat milhawk instead, and become the number one swordsman in the world. Zoro and milhawk now in same place, what possible after Zoro so strong after beating all the baboons, and will fight with milhawk, and won. then the swordsman Zoro will become number one in the world. what ODA thinking??
