We won’t see anything else about the SH crew members training anymore but we’ll see them joining somewhere after another character’s (or entity) history is shown, then as the journey to the new world (or in new world already) goes on a series of events will come up which gradually force each one to show their new abilities.
When time is right all explanations will surge

I don’t think they are equal or ever truly were. Luffy never shows his true strength until he has to protect one of his nakama. The fight between him and Zoro was more like a skirmish than a serious fight. I think Zoro has actually gotten a lot stronger thanks to traveling with Luffy. I don’t think he’s even a close second to Luffy, but he is really strong. The nice thing about friends/comrads is that all we’ll ever have is speculation on who would win. I personally don’t think either would “seriously” fight eachother so I doubt we would ever know. It seems that Luffy is always the only one strong enough to defeat certain enemies which gives the indication that he’s stronger. That being said, for a first mate (if that’s really what he is) he doesn’t have any authority now does he? :)

Well, Jinbei isn’t THAT powerful. He got tore up in the WB battle. With how impressed most of the other pirates were by Luffy during the WB battle I don’t think the Jinbei gap is very big. I mean, look at crocodile, he was a shichibukai and wasn’t nearly as strong as Boa for example. I think Jinbei is a little stronger than Luffy until Luffy trains a little further. I think Jinbei would make a great addition to the crew. Then they would have an underwater fighter on the crew.
I do agree that Boa would be overkill, but then again we are talking about the new world here. Who knows what we’ll see next!

The Training will be just like in DBZ now, where you could see the begining of the training and how they trained and then a few years passed (in One Piece just a few weeks xD) and after that period of time everybody got stronger. Bleach is pretty lame (though I have the misfortune of reading it weekly). It has it’s moments, and the artwork is nice, the story sucks so bad.
One Piece has a very deep storyline that is marinated in humor. It has strong morale values and has rich characters that all have something unique to bring to the table.
Bleach has no story and constant fighting where characters will randomly power up out of nowhere. It’s definitely targeted towards Anime Action Junkies.
You really can’t compare the two. And BTW, we all know you’ll be back to play with yourself while you read our responses. Tool.

I don’t know if this has been discussed or not, what do you guys think will be the effect of the hormones injected into Luffy while in Impel Down (if at all). It seems odd to me that there was an apparent emphasis put on the fact that he would lose 10 years of his life as result. I know he slept for two weeks before he woke up, but that could have been because of seriousness of his injuries during the battles he had. I’m also curious because the Hancock is approx 10 years older than him. I don’t know if they get together, but I don’t understand why 10 years (not 5, 15, 20… seems important in some way). I’m guess that it doesn’t just shorten life, but has some physical effect on his body. I brought it up because it seems like we’ll know the answer this week.
The problem I have with Jimbei joining is that he is only joining because Ace asked him. Where is the dream? I mean does Luffy the main character need a baby sitter. I just think Jimbei should remain only a ally. I honestly think the next member will be a girl. Oda has Nami listed as “eldest” daughter he could had just said daughter this sounds like there will be a youngest daughter. Perona is my guess but nonetheless we need her dream. So I hope to see some development from her in the next chapter with Zoro.
