because kisame is dependent on other people’s chakra to win a battle. look at what happened without samehada, he’s just a regular ninja.

I think the message should have been sent to the akatsuki. That would have made the things much interresting. This way Naruto and his team has so much upper hand, he is almost unbeatable.
He can’t control the kyubi. He can now only access its chakra w/o asking for permission or w/o worrying that the kyubi will try to take him over. The kyubi itself is locked up and has no control over its own chakra. So that weakness to sharringan genjutsu is still in effect.
kisame only got beaten cuz’ he was up against a taijutsu master. there was no chakra to absorb. like some already said earlier on this post :)

Jiraya and the Third Hokage died and they were good guys. Not to mention the Fourth Hokage and Kushina. And if you say about Naruto that he barely trains what ca you say about Sasuke? Naruto did train hard every time but he is faster than usual due to his chakra that allows him to do multiple shadow clones for a longer time.
Nope naruto had to train hard to get to the top like when learning sage mode he was just about to turn into frog stone and also at the time of fighting kyuubi he almost lost his ownself
I think naruto would actually have a good shot at it now. And he’d go down in history as the first Genin to become hokage. Then all the little kids would say “man forget studying for exams, I can be president without graduating bitches!!!”
outside of Naruto and Konohamaru.. no one really wants that position.. to get rid of Tsunade now, wouldnt help the situation of the war and that of the other Kages. trust needs to be the element for the current story as Danzo has shown what anti-trust is all about.

I can see Sasuke and Naruto fighting, in the end Naruto wins and helps Sasuke see the light (however his injuries are to great and he dies). Like a redemption type of death, if Naruto doesn’t save Sasuke or help him redeem himself it will haunt him forever.
when was the last time naruto almost died? yeah, that was by kabuto’s scalpel technique during the search for tsunade arc. the fox didn’t help him that fight. in fact, the fox was a bit scared after kabuto did the scalpel attack.
his biggest battle to date, the one versus nagato, the fox was suppressed by minato, and naruto has to rely on his chakra reserves to win the battle.
I disagree, Gai had to open 7 of 8 gates to INJURE Kisame, otherwise Gai would have lost. Dude is an animal and he can absorb chakra without Samehada while inside of water. Don’t forget that he can spit out a whole lake. He is more powerful with Samehada, but hardly a regular shinobi.
And as for Naruto, are we forgetting about Sage Mode. The Kyubbi actually prevented Naruto from using sage mode in the same manner as Jiraiya, by fusing with the elder toads. Now that he has the Kyubbi chakra under control and he can access his own chakra independent of the Kyubbi chakra, I think he will be able to fuse with the elder toads and use sage mode without the use of his shadow clone trick.
Ummm, Dude, Gai owned Kisame, there was no way he would lose to him. Stop being a hater and admit it, Gai is probably now going down as one of the most strongest Ninja’s in the naruto universe. I hate these people, time after time, they come with crappy opinion and say either Gai or Lee is shit or whatever. Gai owned kisame not once, not twice but three bloody times, not once did Kisame have the edge to even making Gai come close to dieing. good point. I agree that Gai is stronger than most of us would have imagined. Tho I always thought that this is something Kishimoto himself wants to promote through his manga, that hard work, dilligence, dignity and the guts to never give up, just like Gai and Lee, will at some point in time pay out well for them.

I thought so too but when i read their latest manga, i’ve felt horrified to see two gigantic sharks chewed and crushed kisame in front of their enemies. Kisame outsmarts naruto and company by concealing booby traps inside the scroll. It’s okay to see mighty gai felt exhausted because of releasing 8th gate, but how come naruto stood up without a splint? Spoiler: As i stayed longer in japan, ive find very interesting hints from their forum. Here are their hints:
1. In the middle of their battle, madara got info from kisame
(I think the battle between konan and madara stops when he got info from a shark)
2. One of the akatsuki betrayed madara (we knew about konan but who else betrays madara?)
3. When the scroll have reached to madara, naruto and company decided to remain in the island for training. KB taught him (naruto) how to tame the kyubi, gai taught him how to control his powers and yamato taught him another new element to train. (it must be fire)
4. The reason why kakashi decided to stay because he was assigned to take a lead in the battle.
5. One of the akatsuki decided to kidnap sakura (why??)
6. Kabuto’s new army (deidara, sasori,etc) invades konoha. shinobis from different countries join together to fight with them (this is surely an epic)
7. This time, sakura used the summoning technique and used an axe (this is what i really, really wanted to see, an Bad-ass kunoichi)
8. Another fight between sasuke and kabuto
9. One of the seven swordsmen from the mist is still alive.
10. There’s a secret mission that sai needs to fulfill(i wonder what might be??)
Remember when Sasuke jumped in Manda’s mouth to avoid certain death….or how Jariya has been shown to go in any number of his toad’s mouths….well it would be too much of a stretch to believe Kisame was “eaten” by the shark to avoid being taken captive. Jus a thought….

They didn’t go into a mouth, they used space time justu. Even jiriaya uses it in his battle vs pain so it’s likely that naruto will learn his own form of space time justu maybe using shadow clones
