welcome to XCUTION

welcome to our XCUTION

Ichigo comes home.
Yuzu shows Ichigo her test results and gets praised.
Yuzu notices something strange about how Ichigo looks.

Their father’s been out since morning.
For my reiatsu to…. be missing at this time too…

Orihime arrives.
Orihime goes to Ichigo’s room.
Is there anything strange lately?
Some guy I don’t know’s been baiting me~

Ichigo: Nothing like that.

Outside is Ishida.
That reiatsu’s Inoue-san… I wonder if they’re alright.
As Ishida walks home, he discovers someone walking on top of the electric lines, and gives chase.
Ah, so you’ve noticed~~

Ichigo takes a card out of his bag.
There’s a patrol car siren nearby. Ishida’s collapsed and bleeding.

Ichigo takes out the card:

welcome to XCUTION
[TN: yes, it’s spelled that way]

It looks like a cash/debit card
or a card key
something like that

Sorry, I made a mistake

welcome to our XCUTION
is what’s written

But I can’t read it.
[TN: They really can’t read english much, so yeah]

Trivia: According to Tatsuki Arisawa, Ichigo stopped crying every time he saw his mother. She claimed Ichigo had the most beautiful mother ever, and took it upon himself for her death. Isshin also thought it was his fault his wife died.

I know what it means by Welcome to Xcution. I googled it, and it is for people seeking goals. Obviously Ichigo applied for this, and his present was a bleeding Ishida.

    • RVD - December 3, 2010 at 10:56 am #

the Xcution thing is actually Execution, they just abbreviated it to look cooler “Welcome to our Xcution” is more like a company/group logo, now its clear to me that the group belongs to Ginjou as he was the one who gave ichigo the card

  2. koko crunch - December 2, 2010 at 3:22 pm #

i wish urahara is not the bad guy. hes been the guy who have the most contribution of helping ichigo and soul society

    • JBL41 - December 3, 2010 at 10:45 am #

yeah i think so too… well we don’t control this manga so well just have to wait and see

  3. Dave - December 2, 2010 at 3:46 pm #

why does scanning/translation a manga takes more then 24 hours after spoilers are out?

    • RVD - December 3, 2010 at 10:54 am #

maybe because mangastream is becoming timid now a days in translating or is it that they’re really busy on some other shits like holidays, families and stuff

  4. kusokage - December 2, 2010 at 4:37 pm #

and this arc’s damsel in distress will be… ishida?

maybe not let’s wait a bit more

kubo won’t repeat the formula a third time… will he?

    • J.J. - December 2, 2010 at 4:44 pm #

not really.. maybe we don’t know for sure till he writes it the way he wants. speaking of distress the ones surely that would be in distress here are the kurosaki family, this all points towards them and isshin’s pasts

  5. grandad - December 2, 2010 at 9:25 pm #

i hope ishida dies, he’s gay and pointless

  14. Anon - December 3, 2010 at 3:17 am #

so yeah Ishida got fucked up pretty good, but he was careless he was followin behind that dude for a while he should have been ready, granted the dude is stronger than him but damn that was one weak-ass showing. Seems like Ichigo will re-gain his powers soon or Everyone who fought durin the Aizen “war” thats in K-town is in some shit, also what the hell is Chad doin playin with himself?.imo.

    • JBL41 - December 3, 2010 at 10:51 am #

Ishida was pretty much careless as you said and completely underestimated the “stark looking guy”, i don’t know if ishida new how strong he was because of the fact he questioned himself on why the guy moves so fast even though he couldn’t sense any changes in spiritual particles around him then boom four eyed monkey got taken down and got his arms severed “AGAIN” lols

  15. VtsD - December 3, 2010 at 3:18 am #

I liked the chapter… Finally some action… where the hell is ishinn? it seems suspicious… I made the video>>>

isshin is the head of Xcution! that is why he isn’t anywhere else

  16. mietkong - December 3, 2010 at 3:43 am #

Maybe new enemy is (tensa) zangetsu ? guys do you remember the fillers about zanpakutous, do you remember muramasa when he were looking for kouga his master he was separate from him maybe after final getsuga ichigo was just separate from tensa zangetsu and maybe zangetsu is looking for his master ichigo?
    coments please

    • JBL41 - December 3, 2010 at 11:01 am #

Don’t know about that because it wasn’t a canon and was only an anime filler. and tenza zangetsu was kinda short and is in his teens plus this guy is kinda huge and muscular(he ressembles stark more for me) and you can’t put zangetsu because he has a thick beard.

      • mietkong - December 4, 2010 at 2:26 am #

1.may be you don’t understand what i’m saying , because one thing what i wanna say is maybe after final getsuga tenshou ichigo trow out from his body out tenza zangetsu , and maybe that sword was looking for ichigo (but just inshiningami form)and ichigo at this moment can’t use his shiningami form
2.yes.why? maybbe is the only way for ichigo get his powers back, just to met materialized form of his sword?

  17. zehaha - December 3, 2010 at 4:02 am #

I’m just curious what you guys found to be the biggest disappointment in Bleach so far. Keep in mind that:

    1. I’m only talking about the manga. Otherwise, I’m sure a lot of filler references will be brought up.

    2. I’m only talking about THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. So a twist you may not have liked, a fight you were disappointed in, a plot device, a character’s action, etc.. Don’t say something like “I’m disappointed because we don’t know anything about Isshin” because obviously, that will come. This is about stuff that has been resolved in a less than satisfying way.

    Anyway, a couple for me:

    – No Ulquiorra backstory. I was ok with this at first because I thought he might have had some connection with Yammy and we’d eventually get a backstory of them together. But the more Yammy insults the rest of the Espada, the more I doubt they had any real history. It pisses me off because even though Aizen is obviously the main villain, no villain one was more of a factor after the SS arc than Ulquiorra until his death. He deserved better.

    – Uryuu accepting Mayuri’s help. The Uryuu/Mayuri fight was one of the more emotionally charged fights in Bleach. And after it ended, it’s almost as if Uryuu forgot all the horrible things Mayuri had done to his people. When the captains arrived in HM, I was expecting some kind of tension, followed by a begrudging “swallow your pride” moment from Uryuu. But we got nothing. Uryuu isn’t the same proud warrior he was in the SS arc.

    – Tousen’s death. I would’ve preferred that to not end as neatly as it did. It seemed he repented and apologized. I wanted to see him take his blind justice to the grave. I also thought that, considering his status, it should’ve taken more than Hisagi and Komamura to kill him. I guess there was some sort of moral to that fight (difference between being strong and being truly powerful or something like like that) but still, he should not have gone down that easily.

My biggest disappointment is the lack in continuity. As we all know, Kubo Tite likes to leave loose ends without ever going back and elaborating on them. A good example of this is the power levels of the Captains in the Soul Society arc as compared to their power levels after the Soul Society arc. The Noble Families etc. There’s just so much to be explained and I doubt we’ll ever get any explanations as long as Tite clings to his 20 page slot in SJ. The dude needs to release monthly rather than weekly, but the prestige, time and page constraints of SJ is what is killing his writing.

The destruction of the Espada: Tite introduced 10 characters, played them up to be powerful, then killed them all off without ever telling us anything about them (There are a few exceptions like Grimmjow, Nel, Nnoitra.) I recall getting all excited before we knew their numbers, debating who is what number and so on, and in the end it didn’t matter because the characters were cheaply disposed of. Stark was such a bad ass character, and in the end he was so easily disposed of. For christs sake Tite, you could’ve at least had him taken out by a Bankai. Granted it was Shunsui’s shikai that killed him (making Shunsui that much cooler) but still, he could’ve gone out guns a’ blazin’ at least. Tousen’s death is included in this category as well, again another character built up to be uber powerful, but easily disposed of by a FREAKING VICE CAPTAIN THAT WAS ALREADY BEATEN TO A PULP.

One of my second biggest disappointments: Tite’s inability to kill off ANY protagonist. All the losses have been on the antagonists end, none on the heroes side. It really hurts his story, and destroys any suspense. However one day if he finally does kill someone off, I guess it will make it all the more meaningful. But that’s a big IF. He’s written himself 2-3 opportunities to kill off characters, but he seemed to change his mind by having them saved from what should mortal wounds. Tousen dies from a single stab wound while in a uber resurrection state, however Matsumoto and Hiyori (Both in awful shape while receiving their wounds) survive definite fatal maimings because someone knows entry level medical kido. LAME.

    credit: Orochimaru-sama, Sannin

Orochimaru’s death. Not only was the way he died so pitiful and random, but it threw out two things. The first is a wealth of thematic story-threads, such as “price for power”, “price for vengeance” and the entire Sannin drama; suddenly, Sasuke’s role as a tortured boy growing into a man and, complete with a self-devouring nature and self ruin, is thrown aside, as well as his long built-up role for Naruto’s conflict and development. All of a sudden, the manga collapses into an Uchiha-fest. The second reason Orochi’s death shattered the manga was, quite simply, there is not a single villain as complex and as well rounded as Orochimaru. He was the perfect villain, with his unsettling aura of evil and impurity. Villains are not supposed to be fan service. Orochimaru was the type we would fear, not just for his abilities, but for his vicious nature. Also, he was the most aesthetically pleasing villain, with his deep tie with the serpent theme on many levels, including his role as tempter as well as his association with the concept of immortality, rebirth, and transcending the limits of humanity and the material. He had a real role in the story, not just a dying fight. He did things: he traveled far, corrupted people, and murdered in such a way that the deaths would create new storylines and themes. Yet suddenly his role was snuffed away, because there is no room for transcendent themes and complex, interactive characters when there are fans to be serviced and marketing to pursue!

Similar effects has been found throughout part two in general. The fan service Uchiha Sasuke has been borne on the hawk wings of plot-induced convenience, with his cursed eyes sprouting new abilities out of their metaphorical asses to match each new situation, such as what has been found in the Deidara/Sasuke fight. Sasuke interacts with the world of Naruto and the jutsu involved in ways that beg the question of why such an easy-to-foil Fushi Tensei was ever invented when its crafter already knew from experience that those much-desired eyes would simply turn the jutsu on its head, or even worse, if such a reversal could be pulled off by any Sharingan-less person who has enough will to live not to be labeled suicidal. More plot-induced convenience involve a suspiciously bizarre ability of Sasuke to perform a very difficult and powerful summon with nearly zero chakra and then use the summon to escape the equivalent of a nuclear blast.

By no means are Orochimaru’s death and the Deidara/Sasuke fight the only disappointments in Naruto. Akatsuki in general have been an undeniably failure. They do not possess the type of evil that would inspire fear, and they do not seem formidable. They serve no real purpose in the plot outside of their dying fights; nor are they complex characters in and of themselves. Hidan and Kakuzu are perfect examples of such fodder. Pein and Konan have been failures as well, though they have not yet kicked the bucket. The random unveiling of Tobi’s identity clearly shows a laziness on the writer’s part to not save such plot twists to when they will be most effective, and our resulting sentiments toward Madara cannot in any way be described as awed. The only Akatsuki that could have been considered proper villains were Sasori and Deidara. Sasori’s death was actually not a bad thing, since Sasori served somewhat as an exposition of what Akatsuki members are like. But Deidara, unnervingly obsessed with explosions and terrorism, as well possessing the physical abnormality of mouths on his hands and chest, had huge potential as a recurring villain that would play the role of Akatsuki’s air bomber, perhaps even attacking something as close to home as Konoha itself. Alas, that was not to be so; he was soundly beaten by an Uchiha brat who had supposedly gone from chuunin level to kage with only two years of training (without even a kage bunshin high-speed-exp technique). Sadly, it seems that what we are reading now is not the Naruto manga we knew and loved, but a fan-driven affair forged from the burning passions of Uchiha-obsessed masses.

    • jiraiya - December 3, 2010 at 3:10 pm #

first of all dude the main story line is of naruto and not of the orochimaru’s or the diedra’s.Moreover we cann’t say for sure that orochi s dead cause part of him lives in kabuto.
As far as pain is conserned i think he instilled fear in all of konoha when he killed jiraiya and destroyed the konoha village and he certainely wasn’t taken down easily naruto with unlocked sage mode den with tansformed fox did much damage and finally he sacrificed his life.
As far as sasuke is concerned how he reached kage level with just 2 yrs training bro he was a genius from the start combined with his sharingan he can learn any ability even faster than naruto with his clones.
Madara as per me is ultimate badass since he’s plotting from a very long time he even managed to defeat the 1st hokage which was supposed to be the strongest of all.And after ataining one renigan and all i think manga is heading in right direction as the author clearly has the intention of finishing the manga unlike bleach where a new storyline is created all of a suden

good theory there that it could be tensa zangetsu.. but why would he attack and most likely kill ishida?

lets take it this way, lets say that guy is really zangetsu then maybe GINJOU KUUGO is the zanpakatou of AIZEN.. =)
