The new arc begins
but I have no idea what’s going on.
The story doesn’t advance at all.
Anyway I think it starts out like this.
SS is in a state of emergency. There’s an uproar at the technological development dept. Mayuri is calm.
Two new shinigami, along with Afro-san, head to the real world.
A hollow appears.
The new shinigami are about to die when Ichigo arrives.

Nel and her friends. Since Harribel was saved by Orihime, she might want to help. As for Grimmjow ….depends on who they are goint to save. Nel will definately go for ichigo- and Grimmjow as well…but only time will tell…
Thats exactly what i thought when i heard that the arrancar and the royal guard would come to help soul society/Ichigo out.And then there is also Urahara and co. , They have way too much allies but since this is gonna good for the war and it would only be better if you add as many characters as you can to make it great.
Having more allies isn’t exactly a good thing, especially since that just means that more characters are going to get trolled to give Kubo an excuse for Ichigo to save the day again, a la Arrancar Saga.
The Arrancar have a deep seated resentment towards shinigamis, especially since they were betrayed by a shinigami (Aizen) and they were attacked by shinigamis.
The last thing we need is another 1-sided war, especially if it’s Quincies who were almost wiped out last time, and the shinigamis are probably much more powerful.
So the Quincy starts off with a few members in their group but later on will have an army of warriors.Since soul society will be turned into ruin and all i’m assuming that there objective is to free every single one of soul societies prisoners {including Aizen since they will most likely have a similar goal, Quincy plans to destroy soul society and Aizen plans to destroy the spirit king}
I think those are rogue Quincy, unlike the Ishida family.

They will finally get the beating that they deserve, and then the Royal Guard will come to save their behinds but by that time a few captains would have died already.
But the Quincies were nearly wiped out the last time and the shinigamis have probably gotten stronger since then. Not to mention if they have more allies in this war, they would have more advantages.

Quincies also have Hollow pills to summon hollows… this could easily avoid or disrupt a fight with a Shinigami, since it also seems to react to the spiritual energy of one… Combine it with captain class shinigamis and you actually have a nice and powerfull army to fight, whilst the Quincy just escapes…
Though Uryu seems no match for a captain, I think there are several Quincies with the potential to give a really good challenge…

The shinigami did got stronger in 2 year but,
The quince got even stronger in the last 50+ year they been hiding
I wonder will ichigo pick a side?
Also, The quincy seems to be smart people so you would think they would know of the outcome of they own action, that removing hollow from the world could cause the world destruction
So why would they continue to do so? Is there something we don’t know about?
What about the the words “the Final holy war” or whatever it was it implies that the Quincies would most likely be using that form where Ishida defeated Mayuri but with both wings and a lot stronger than what Ishida was when he had used this form.Also the way Ryuuken treats the Shinigami its like they are weak.
@Brandon Even if the Quincies try to use a hollow invasion against the Shinigamis, they’ve already faced more powerful espadas in Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura Town.
Hopefully the Quincies won’t be as pathetic as the Fullbringers, they were almost wiped out the 1st time by other shinigamis.
@Neji Hyuga It’s not just 2 years, they’ve gotten more powerful since their last encounter with the Quincies.
Ichigo has already picked a side when he decided to trust the shinigamis and became their lapdog after they bribed him with shinigami powers.

I know hollows ain’t gonna do much damage, but I was talking about ‘using’ them for possible distractions and such…
I mean, if Uryu is an example for how smart they really are, they could be excelent and observing fighters…
And we know they were exterminated, but we don’t know how… I mean, they could’ve been betrayed, first pretending Soul Society are not hostile in any way and then taken care off stealthy…
And if Kubo is going to piss over them like he did with the fullbringers, which were a bunch of… I’m not raging any further, Kubo has got to commit Seppeku for his faillure… as accustomed in Japan
Let’s just hope they’re nothing like the Fullbringers.

what should kubo do before you can forgive him i agree with you about the fullbring was pointlees and one of the worst arcs ever and there was trolling in the karakura town arc 2 like tousen turning into a bug and he got defeatet seconds later by a vice captain and kubo let gin be alive for so long only 2 get trolled by aizen and barragan was boring because he only used ONE abilithy in his fight and none of the captains dit not use there bankais in there fights only a little of them dit
Well, he can improve the writing/plot/story/character development, stop trolling the characters. Hopefully this arc can at least be somewhat half decent, hopefully.

I know, but I just wanted to explain why I hated the arc so much.
I haven’t watched any episodes of Bleach since the beginning of the Fullbring Arc, I wanted to watch it all at once, and the arc is already almost done…not watching the release episode each week does seem like its going faster.
The anime does try to flesh out the characters more and try to piece together the jumbled mess that Kubo made, so in a way, it’s better than the manga, but there’s only so much they can work with and put effort into Kubo’s lazy troll-fest.
Well the anime has backgrounds!
Why waste your time with backrounds when the anime is just gonna put them in for you anyways right?

The manga is lazy, there’s hardly any effort being put into it anymore.
The backgrounds aren’t the only problem, the anime tries to fix the structure of the story/plot, and they also have to try and flesh out the characters with limited to no information from the manga.

In what realm did the Quincy massacre take place, if it was in the human world then must’ve had a very bad disadvantage which would explain why the lost so badly.
It was in the human world, but why would they have a disadvantage in their own world?
If anything the shinigami would’ve had a disadvantage since they can’t use all their powers in the human world.
You forgot about how the Quincy fight using spirit particles and places like Hueco Mundo and S.S would be better for there abilities so in the human world they can’t fight to their full potential.
The same would go for their opponents.
It would be best for them to fight in their world, where their opponents have more restrictions than them.
Fighting in the human world doesn’t weaken quincies they’re at normal strength, but it does weaken their opponents to fight in the human world.
If it was the human world, the shinigamis’ power would’ve been limited.
The shinigami gets their reiatsu limited but thats not what i’m talking about.Ishida has said that he fights a lot better in those two places in other he can’t fight properly in the human world but in the other two there isn’t such a problem.
Ishida would still have an advantage.
In the human world Ishida could still use his powers pretty efficiently.
Whilst high class shinigami couldn’t even kill a beginner Ichigo or use bankai.
So your saying they would fight better in there respective realm rather than the others despite the fact the he would be able to use his bow better in the other realms.

Sure Ishida could use his bow better in the other realms, but the shinigami would also be able to use their full power in the other realms which is a disadvantage for Ishida.

Kubo said they would start out with a few members but will later on have an amount that would be able to take down soul society easily.As for where their allies are gonna come from there is only two places i can think of, the Ice Palace or in Soul Society’s prisons.
There could be some Quincy’s that are in there prisons and maybe some other people that they wanna recruit.And the Ice Palace could be a place they are trying to get to to find some legendary/mythical warriors that they have being trying to find for a really long time.
