i mean, the cut samurai actually controlled the dragon right? he just couldn’t “see” that’s why the dragon bit his wings. he could just sense luffy there.
Law definitely did that to the samurai but he doesn’t necessarily have to be the shichi.
He could’ve just been an ally, but I’m betting it’s shichi still.
And no the samurai didn’t control the Dragon…
Either its Law’s DF and he messed up some dude (who is most probably a Samurai – lets call him “Buh” or “Bu” for now because of his speaking style), or, its some other DF with very similar powers, or he literally IS like that, or the upper body is simply invisible right now. Thats all the possibilities I can think of other than the random answer “its some other DF power we havent seen” which is of course possible (even probable) but kinda too general.
It think theres also a SMALL chance that there’s a Samurai who cut this dude up “without cutting him up” (kinda like Zoro cutting steel, only more advanced) and some new Schichibukai is responsible for Buh to have landed on the Dragon to whom hes cursing.
To me it seemed that Buh was cursing the Schichibukai but its not clear for what exactly – he didnt say “Why that f*cking Schichibukai – HE CUT ME UP!!!!@#!#@!#@!” – which is what I’d actually expect. He just cursed and shouted that he didnt wanna die there. So either hes gotten used to being cut up like that, or he really IS like that and was merely cursing him being on the Dragon.
the more I think about it, the more I think this dude reall IS just like that! coz it the NW haha…
He could just be like that but I doubt it, the way he dresses looks a lot more like a samurai.

Well the samurai said he didn’t know who they were but he could sense them. My theory is that law is the new shibukai, because we really dnt know much about his ability or his past. Plus he is really clever. He could be using that tittle for something. Also To me it’s natural for law to face a swordsman since he is a swordsman as well. Law and the samurai must have bumped heads in the winter part of the island. And the dragon was flying by or escaping the fight. So law split the swordsman and attached his lower half to the dragon to separate both of them for a while. And giving law a chance to leave the island. While the samurai goes cutting people in anger. Lol just my theory.
my prediction if Law is the shichi, who cut the guy on the dragon:
the guys who captured the SHs on the sunny used gas from a hidden submarine so the SHs didn’t notice them. when luffy, zoro, robin and usopp realize their crew has been captured they follow them to the other side of the island where Law’s base is and free them.
after they freed them they will encounter Law who is able to take luffy completely out thanks to the surgery he gave luffy after the war. so the SHs have to beat a shichi and his crew without the help of their captain (zoro vs law would be pretty cool IMO).
ofc the SHs will win the fight and just after they won fight smoker is going to catch up with them. and before smoker nearly catches his entire crew luffy will get up and fight smoker and drive him back and the SHs escape. smoker and tashigi decide to follow the SHs and report to marine HQ that the SHs just beat a shichi and his crew without the help of their captain.
i would really like to see the SHs win a fight without luffy because this would really show how strong they are and they would get new bountys (for chopper and a new messed up pic for sanji ^^).
Cool idea for the SH crew to defeat a Schichibukai w/o Luffy – that would really sell his ascent in terms of power levels. But imo, hes still somewhere around the Schihi to WB commander level and for now a new Schichi might be enough to get the NW started.
Another idea is that maybe the WG made a deal with the Samurai nation and made their strongest Samurai a Schichibukai in the hopes of closer relations with them and that Zoro now defeats this guy :D
I had thought that those guys with the masks would be from Law’s Submarine, but if they were with Law they should have known abt Luffy’s crew I guess.
Anyone in the SH can beat a Warlord (Buggy), but anyways If Law turns out to be a bad guy (I think he is). It would be much better for Luffy to fight him. Law Vs. Luffy would just be much better to see and I want to see Law use some dirty trick from the surgery he did to Luffy.
Since Law can cut people and leave them alive, I think he took some inside organs from Luffy so he can use them when they fight in the future. It would REALLY suck if Law is a bad guy…don’t wanna see his ass get beat.
but yeah, it would be cool for the SH’s to fight a Warlord crew (not buggy) w/o the help of Luffy.
I also think Law is a bad guy, but I thik hes more of a rival than an outright bad guy like lets say Kidd is. We dont know much about him, but doenst he have a nickname – Doctor of Death or something like that? Sounds like a pretty callous guy lol.

Zoro might be a better sowrdsman, in fact he almost definitely is, but Law’s DF ability is pretty badass. Because of it, I guess Zoro has to stay a certain readius away from Law at all times, otherwise he gets trapped by that weird ability.
I think that Zoro can in fact put up a good fight even if hes trapped in the Room, but it will be Law’s advantage.
So the best thing is for Zoro to use distance attacks like the 360 Pound Cannon etc from afar and I think Law’s good enough to do a long battle if Zoro’s techniques are only long distance.
I was only talking aout a one hit KO scenario – which seems pretty far fetched to me unless Law’s caught off gaurd (but Zoro wouldnt do that I think).
I actually think it’s better to fight Law close ranged. If you think back Law has never been shown to fight close range.
Law’s DF ability also seems like the long range type. IMO to counter Law’s ability you need to have speed which Zoro has.
If Law were to fight against Luffy or Zoro I think he would lose. Both of them are fast enough to escape Law’s room before he does anything.
They’re also both close range fighters which IMO Law is weak against.
I think Law could avoid any long range attack by teleporting it like he did the canon ball.
So fast close range attacks should be the way to go.
I think it’s trafalgar law because he’s pointing on a shickibukai and i think trafalgar become a schickibukai for the last 2 years.trafalgar is the who cuts his body.just a prediction.:)

if i remember correctly most of you thought shanks would be the father of this child but i wanna come up with an other theory. i think that child could be ace’s.
when ace left WB’s ship to hunt BB, he could have left the GL and visited east blue first. so if the child was made 2 1/2 years before this cover was shown, it would be about 1 1/2 years old. and considering how long rogue carried ace, the child might be even younger.
shanks seems to be the more likely choice there but oda is sometimes unpredictable. and since oda said in an SBS that the child is from “that man” it’s definetely from someone important or oda would have told us.
it would be cool IMO if roger’s bloodline would still be alive so maybe my hopes are fooling me a bit here…..

but i doubt they get OP chapters from mangastream. i remember two times where mangareader released the chapter before mangastream and they have different translations sometimes.
