      Can’t tell if you’re trolling or serious…

    • MDre - March 4, 2012 at 6:00 pm #

actually so much really did happen in this chapter. we finally got story progression.

      • Unidentified - March 4, 2012 at 8:16 pm #

All that really happened that was important was that the Vanderich declared war on Soul Society.

Even Ichigo’s friends don’t even seem to care anymore, they’re too busy eating bread to give a damn about Aizen-face 3, I mean Ivan.

      • NateParedes44 - March 5, 2012 at 3:06 am #

That left over bread must have been damn good XD

      • Unidentified - March 5, 2012 at 4:06 pm #

Apparently the bread is more interesting than the Vanderichs or the war.

      • CosomG - March 5, 2012 at 4:08 pm #

        HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

      • Mickey D - March 5, 2012 at 4:17 pm #

The bread is more interesting than anything Kubo could ever write.
        =D

      • CosomG - March 5, 2012 at 4:25 pm #

The true meaning is……. Why isn’t the bread writing Bleach?

      • Reach - March 5, 2012 at 7:25 pm #

If the bread is more interesting than anything kubo can write but kubo wrote the bread than that means kubo is a better writer than the bread. So the bread shouldn’t be writing bleach since kubo wrote something as interesting as the bread and it doesn’t have fingers so it can’t hold a pen.

      • jennatalia - March 5, 2012 at 7:30 pm #

Maybe the bread should be writing poems instead.

      • CosomG - March 5, 2012 at 7:37 pm #

Kubo didn’t create bread he just wrote bread into the story so that doesn’t matter and who cares if it can’t hold a pen it can hire someone!

      • Unidentified - March 5, 2012 at 7:37 pm #

@Reach The bread doesn’t have to write a thing and it still would be a better writer than Kubo.

      • Reach - March 5, 2012 at 9:15 pm #

@jennatalia Do you have a problem with me or something? That was just one of the volume poems. How about you go and read the others before you start criticizing what is probably kubo’s only claim to being able to write. Don’t just judge him off the one poem she. You haven’t read the others.

@CosomG Kubo didn’t create bread but he did create it in the story. Writers create what happens and what exists in their story so kubo did create the bread so that makes him better since the bread is limited to what kubo allows it to do where as kubo can write whatever he wants and with what money would the bread use to hire someone?

@anonymous That’s not possible since we wouldn’t know the bread’s ability to write until it actually wrote something. For you to state that it is a better writer without having to write anything you would need knowledge of its previous works and it doesn’t have any works to speak of so something that can’t/doesn’t write at all can’t be better than someone who writes and has their work published.

      • CosomG - March 5, 2012 at 9:19 pm #

The point is that bread is a better writer than Kubo! I would buy that breads Volumes instead of Kubo’s!

      • CosomG - March 5, 2012 at 9:21 pm #

Matter of fact that Bread is a better writer than Kubo even if he just prints white pieces of paper!

      • Unidentified - March 5, 2012 at 10:19 pm #

@Reach Writing nothing is better than writing crap like Bleach, well, if you can call that writing, it’s more like 1 huge illogical, incomprehensible mess.

      • Reach - March 5, 2012 at 11:29 pm #

@anonymous The bread hasn’t been published though has it? Bleach isn’t completely illogical. Some makes sense, most of it doesn’t. Writing nothing is stupid because if you can get away with writing crap and get paid to do it then you’re the idiot for not writing.

@CosomG You’d buy the breads volumes even if it’s just pieces of white paper? Interesting. I didn’t know you referred to kubo as bread.

      • jennatalia - March 6, 2012 at 1:48 am #

@Reach-No problem, just giving you crap.

      • Reach - March 6, 2012 at 2:19 am #

        @jennatalia Why?

      • jennatalia - March 6, 2012 at 3:58 am #

Eh, just cause. I mean no malice. We like Bleach and I’d like to see more poems. I think hiakus would be cooler, but I don’t write the manga.

      • Unidentified - March 6, 2012 at 4:05 am #

@Reach Even if it’s unpublished, it’ll still be better than anything Kubo craps out for Bleach.

The only one that’s stupid is the one that buys the crap.

Writing nothing is still better than writing crap.

      • Reach - March 6, 2012 at 12:04 pm #

@anonymous Uh no. Writing nothing is only better if you don’t get paid. If you get paid to write your crap then you’re smart for doing it. Like you said, the only people that are idiots are the ones that buy it. Kubo is a genius in this regard. He writes crap and people but it. For kubo not to do that he would be an idiot.

Nothing instead of something is worse if you’ll be paid to write something. If you’re weighed down by ‘intergrity’ then you’re stupid. You have to take what you can get in this world and to be paid to write crap is not bad.

      • JAMMY JAM - March 6, 2012 at 12:42 pm #

I guess these two would consider anything is better than Bleach, if Bleach is this bad then why is it still being published. It seems this world (the way it works) doesn’t agree with you.

      • Unidentified - March 6, 2012 at 3:50 pm #

@JAMMY JAM Because it’s still popular, but popularity doesn’t equal quality, it used to be 1 of the Big 3 back in the day when it was really popular.

It seems your logic doesn’t make any sense at all just like Bleach, if you want to make up excuses to defend Bleach, at least make it plausible.

@Reach No, if you get paid for writing nothing, you’re smarter than if you got paid for writing crap because you didn’t have to do a single thing. Nothing always trumps crap.

Don’t bring up integrity when you’re referring to Bleach or Kubo, he’s just milking his dying cash for all it’s worth.

      • JAMMY JAM - March 6, 2012 at 6:26 pm #

@Anonymous first of all i wasn’t defending Bleach (as usual you fail to understand some of my posts), second if Bleach is popular then how can it be the worst piece of shit out there in this world? You even say that bread could do a better job than Kubo, this shows how fucked up your logic is.

All i was doing was telling you how you OVER exaggerate (yes, I’m saying OVER exaggerate) how bad you think Bleach is.If it was as bad as you say it is then i would have quit this manga ages ago.

      • The 13th Struggle - March 6, 2012 at 7:17 pm #

@anonymous You never said that you were being paid to write nothing. Then that would be smarter but you’re not being realistic. You have to get paid to do something. If you don’t write anything you won’t get paid. As long as kubo writes crap he gets paid and he doesn’t have to think about what he’s writing. Writing nothing is stupid especially if your job requires you to write something. Nobody gets paid to write nothing in a job that requires you to write. Writing crap will always be better than writing nothing if you’re getting paid to write something. Be realistic.

I was bringing up your integrity not kubo’s. Kubo has integrity. He’s just an idiot who doesn’t how to write. He doesn’t purposely write crap, he just can’t write at all. He had integrity, he just doesn’t realize that what he writes is crap. If he knew and still peddles it than he has no integrity.

      • Unidentified - March 7, 2012 at 3:45 am #

@The 13th Struggle Bleach isn’t realistic either. Kubo gets paid for doing blank backgrounds, and there’s little to no effort in his series at all. You can get paid for doing nothing, that’s what his assistants are there for. Kubo doesn’t have any integrity at all, he’s purposely trolling his series and the fans because he’s just milking what’s left of the series. He used to have some integrity, he knows his writing is crap but he won’t admit it, he’s just trolling everyone and milking what’s left of this series for all its’ worth.

@JAMMY JAM Apparently you failed to read my posts properly and made assumptions about what I wrote. Popularity has nothing to do with quality, especially if the series used to be decent. Just be glad I provided some semblance of logic, where it’s completely void in Bleach. Actually this is the 1st time you’ve said I’ve over exaggerated, your previous posts were all about arguing with me just because I disagree with your opinions on Bleach. I don’t need to quit Bleach, it’s a quick read, I enjoy reading other people’s responses even if I don’t agree, I don’t have to support it in any way, etc. I can criticize this series in the way I see fit.

      • The 13th Struggle - March 7, 2012 at 4:36 am #

@unidentidied Of course bleach isn’t realistic. It’s about done kid running around using objects to remove his soul so he can battle with evil spirits using a sword that is also his soul. Nothing about that is realistic. Kubo’s assistants get paid to do nothing sure but they don’t write the series. My whole argument was that its better to stite crao and be paid for it then to not write at all. His assistants arent paid to write so why would they? Kubo has to write the story so he gets paid to even though it’s crap. In this world if you can get away with writing crap and getting paid then more power to you. It isn’t any worse than hollywood milking movie franchises to death. He wants to write crap then let him. No one is forcing you to read it and no one is making you buy it. He gets paid to do it do let him. It’s no skin off your bones.

I look at kubo the same way I look at george w. bush: with a lot of pity. I see a guy who really tried to do his best and just isn’t cut out for the job at all and he doesn’t know it so he still tries.

      • Unidentified - March 7, 2012 at 5:05 am #

@The 13th Struggle You’re the one who brought up how I was being unrealistic and I pointed out how Bleach itself is unrealistic. The assistants still get paid for doing next to nothing, even if it’s not writing. ‘stite crao’? People are allowed to criticize him and his ‘work’ if Kubo continues to trolls out crap and milks it for all its’ worth. I haven’t supported Bleach in any way, I can read it because it’s a short, quick read and I enjoy people’s comments about it.

      • JAMMY JAM - March 7, 2012 at 5:19 am #

Anonymous I was just trying to say that Bleach isn’t the worst thing this world has to offer, but you keep saying that anything is better than Bleach implying that there’s nothing worser than Bleach ( its what i’ve been trying to say from comment number 1).That’s the exaggeration I’m talking bout .

      • Unidentified - March 7, 2012 at 6:22 am #

@JAMMY JAM That’s because pretty much anything that people here have brought up to compare Bleach with has all been better than Bleach.

      • The 13th Struggle - March 7, 2012 at 12:03 pm #

@unidentified Yea thanks for pointing out that auto correct is the dumbest thing on the planet. I said that it shouldn’t matter. What do you care if kubo does what he does? I never said you shouldn’t criticize him if you want to but there is no reason to dislike him on such a personal level. We don’t know him. I’m sure he’s a nice enough guy. He isn’t the only one that milks a series.

      • Anonymous - March 7, 2012 at 8:43 pm #

@The 13th Struggle I don’t dislike him on a personal level, I only dislike him as a mangaka. He’s the only one milking a series that bad (on Bleach’s level).

      • The 13th Struggle - March 7, 2012 at 9:01 pm #

@anonymous While you say that your posts seem to attack him on a personal level. You probably don’t mean it but it seems like you take how bad he is as a mangaka on a personal level.

Kubo is the only one that milks a bad series? Ever heard of Epic Movie, Vampire’s Suck, or Date Movie? The writers for those movies milk a ridiculously terrible series. I bet even you’ll agree that bleach is better then that garbage or at least more preferable.

      • Unidentified - March 8, 2012 at 2:24 am #

@The 13th Struggle Maybe you interpreted things that way, but I had no intention of doing so.

That comparison doesn’t really hold much weight, those guys already made crappy movies from the beginning, unlike with Bleach, which started out as decent and then crashed and burned in quality.

Kubo and Bleach is more comparable to M. Night Shyamalan and his films since we’re comparing Bleach to other movies.

Both of them started out quite well, they let their egos and the success/popularity get the better of themselves and the quality of their work has dramatically decreased and has gotten more and more laughably worse tarnishing their reputations and becoming a joke in the film/anime communities.

    • MDre - March 5, 2012 at 3:04 am #

yay, we finally got story progression.

  3. jennatalia - March 4, 2012 at 5:50 pm #

Wouldn’t starting in the middle of any series become confusing to the reader? Not knowing what happened before may impact character development from the reader’s perspective, but not necessarily from an entertainment perspective. It may, however, diminish the overall effect readers perceive of the chapter. Knowing that a chapter is the climax built up over a year of publications may have a different reaction that a person picking up the chapter for the first time and seeing the end result.
