Due to Law cutting open the roof, Shinokuni starts to seep in through the cracks.
Zoro and Tashigi joins up with Nami and the kids.
Tashigi complains that G-5 being there means Zoro went the wrong way like she said.
She also demands to be set down, it’s embarassing in front of her men.
Zoro starts running the wrong way as Nami points out, and Sanji is pissed Zoro is carrying Tashigi.

Chopper is done with immergency treatment on Mocha, this is all he can do for now.
The G-5 Medics carry Mocha and Chopper and head to the building R.

Meanwhile SAD room:
Vergo is chopped up into pieces and stuck to a rail.
He complains how he’s going to eat breakfast like this now.
Vergo’s head warns Law that he doesn’t know Joker’s “past”, and that will be his undoing
He continues that a rookie that just made a little name for himself isn’t going to take over, the New Wolrd is not that easy.
As Vergo continues blabbing, Law cuts his face in half, shutting him up.
Law tells him to worry about himself, as this SAD room will explode into pieces soon.
Law and Smoker leaves the room, stranding the LEGO-Vergo there.

CC i shocked about the roof splitting open for a while, blaiming Vergo for not stopping Law.
CC orders his men to open the vents and let Shinokuni in. Caeser says he’s immune to the poison as he is gas himself.
They worry that the men near him will all die, CC yells at them in frustration calling them nothing but test subjects, and he doesn’t care how many of trash die.
The men in the monitor room forgets about Usopp and starts crying at CC’s betrayal.

The men in monitor room still tries to believe CC, and tell themselves he’s just acting to decieve the enemy.
They went ahead and open the vents….

As Shinokuni seeps into the first floor, Caeser merges with Shinokuni.
He says two nations already started negotiating with him for Shinokuni.
His ambition is to fill the world with destructive weapons like these, and become the Lord of Land of the Death himself.
To prove his might, he spreads his body around, kill his own men with Shinokuni…..

Luffy looks pissed from Caesar’s betrayal of his men.
He tells Momo to watch over Brownbeard, and he heads out from the room.
Caesar sees Luffy running from the room, thinking he’s running away, calls him a coward and that the hallways is alreay filled with Shinokuni as well, there’s nowhere to run.

Back in the monitor room, the men are grieving at their master’s betrayal.
Usopp tells them to move out of his way, he needs to save his friends from the gas.
CC’s men mock themselves and mocks Usopp, telling him his captain is no better, didn’t you just see him run?
Usopp tells them to dare not insult his captain in front of him.
If his captain was the type to betray his own kind, they would have had much easier time! (lol)
There are times when he wants to run away, as far as they can, but because his captain trusts in them… he has no choice but to answer to that trust! Always!
Usopp: Just watch… Caeser is the worst type of scum Luffy hates!! Luffy will not forgive Caeser.

Luffy gains enough distance from Caesar to stretch both his arms out to the fullest, with Gear 3.
Harded wth COA, Luffy runs towards Caesar, telling him he’s tired of seeing his face as he’s about to release a bazooka on him with both Gear 3 blackened fists!

Usopp didn’t get to wipe the floor with fodders, but he got to make an awesome speech about Luffy and their trust in him.

ZHEHAHAHAHAHAAH! Great episode!! Momonga proves himself to be my favorite VA once again!

Can’t wait for this fight to begin now!

Just one question – if the anime arc for “Z” is just being released now, how did the Japanese audiences know the backstory before watching the film itself? Did it appear in Japan aldready, before us seeing it in the anime?

    • Younes - December 9, 2012 at 10:01 am #

this new characters in the anime have nothing to do with the film i think the anime producers just gave you a taste of the Z film
even if they do copy it from the Z film i think the producers are aware of every event in the z film since they are the ones who make it LOL

    • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 10:18 am #

Yeah Momonga is awesome, it’s a shame he’s not an admiral
He started along with sakazuki and kuzan
I wish he was even stronger than he is now

i think he is closer to an admiral than any other Vise admirals! he is also my favorite VA! just take a look at his hairstyle for god sake!

  8. Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 8:21 am #

Hahaha, I just realized that in the War, Donflamingo wanted the Marines to let the brothers Ace and Luffy go free because it would be more “fun”. LOL, Having fun now, eh Donquixote Donflamingo?

    • Doflaminger - December 9, 2012 at 8:33 am #

Fufufufu it seems you take him for a fool. DD is just starting to have fun.

      • Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 9:23 am #

I don’t actually, but I was just pointing out the irony – something Donquixote Donflamingo himself would have enjoyed, I’m sure. :P

  9. Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 8:25 am #

@Komori Ningen – about your post whether the Marines might also be using VP’s version of SAD to power themselves up to make up for the loss of Aokiji?

YES! I do think so, and in fact I think they might be giving the Pacifistas these Zoan DF abilities. That WOULD make them enormously more powerful. I guess they could even then be trained in martial arts rather than be programmed (which in a universe like OP might be better because martial arts are to be respected while technology may never really truly mimic it or achieve that level). SO we could see the new PXs with different Zoan abilities, and maybe even some hints of personality like the 2 examples we saw in the PGL.

    • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 10:14 am #

Yeah it would be cool if they used SAD
I have another question for you Ashirogi sensei

Do you really believe that it was a good choice that Oda made by wiping kuma’s personality and transforming him into mindless machine ?

I mean everybody here surely think that kuma is now less intimidating because he is brainless, he does no longer have experience, he does not have fighting instinct. He is just a shell of what he used to be….

      This interpretation is perfectly comprehensible

Though I doubt it’s right, I mean he just turned Kuma into the ultimate fighting machine right ?
What was the point of doing so if in the end, he’s weaker than what he used to be ?

      • Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 10:31 am #

I agree…. I do NOT think that Kuma would be any LESS powerful of a fighter, but probably he WAS a less of a warrior IMMEDIATELY after Shabondy when his personality signed off for the last time. I believe when we saw him fight in the War, he really did seem slightly less intimidating, but we never really saw enough to make a judgement.

Right now its just a judgement call/opinion that the lack of a personality/instinct will make him less of a warrior mainly because, int he OP universe, instinct is highly regarded (esp for the likes of Luffy and Zoro). But it doesn’t HAVE to be true for people like Kuma – maybe they are the “thinking” type of fighter (like Nami and Usopp). So yeah, I find it perfectly acceptable that PX-0 (the new Kuma) is going to be proven to be even more of a ruthless warrior and a more “perfect” fighting machine than Kuma the Tyrant ever was. For me, the bigger problem is whether Kuma as PX-0 can overcome the “dumbness” of the PXs – for example, how easily Robin deceived it into shooting the laser onto itself. I doubt it would be as easy on a conscious person or indeed a thinking entity.

So if Vegapunk can simulate that human kind of complex behavior – similar to Artificial Intelligence I guess – then I would definitely say that PX-0 is a better warrior than Kuma the Tyrant ever was because pain is gone (but the role of pain is replaced presumably by feedback systems telling where the damage is, so PX-0 doesn’t have the same disadvantage as the Zombies of Moria where the damage simply and foolishly goes unnoticed) and because of higher endurance from cyborg body and presumably the same fighting level and intelligence due to the AI.

But I doubt that in the OP world, “instincts” could ever be replaced by machinery. So, that aspect would never be recovered and be a disadvantage, but thats only the case if Kuma himself relied on instincts and even then, that disadvantage can be covered for by higher resilience and mroe choice in offensive weapons.

So, overall, yes its definitely possible for PX0 to be a better warrior than Kuma the Tyrant, as long as Oda shows him to be able to not get fooled easily since its “only” a machine.

On the other hand, Kuma definitely had some kind of deal with the WG in volunteering for the experiment, so a lot still has to be revealed.

Maybe one day e will find out that it was all grand mission from Dragon to sabotage ALL PXs when the crucial War finally comes, or at least know their weaknesses.

damn when will Zoro get a bounty upgrade, its too less :/

    • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 10:23 am #

Pretty soon but I don’t think that it’ll go beyond 300mil though

      • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 10:30 am #

i hope it is 300 :P zoro cant be that far away from luffy (i think he is on par or stronger plz dont argue cuz we dont have any proofs if he is Not so let me imagine the positive side ) , but luffy was there in the biggest war so yeah maybe somewhere around 250+

      • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 10:41 am #

Yeah it’s clear that Zoro’s bounty is low only because he’s not the captain.
And to tell the truth, Zoro does not care about the WG, so it’s obvious that he is not a big direct threat to them.
Yeah I don’t expect less than 250 mil for Zoro, after all he is a one man army

      • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 11:15 am #

yeah I wont be surprised if Sanji one day gets a higher bounty (wont be the case) but if he does he is just an attention seeker as he said he is gonna do the most damage, Zoro cares only about Luffy and 1 vs 1 target.

      After punk hazard

    • ACE*** - December 9, 2012 at 10:55 am #

im going for above 300 million! zoros bounty has been always higher than what luffys bounty was so not 400 mills but 300 mills like 2 years ago BEFORE the war! im guessing 330 – 350 million! comparable to pekoms and tomago!

      • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 11:22 am #

It’s possible but not really likely
Out of the supernovas, the one Zoro is the most related to is killer.
They are both first mate of the most reckless pirate of the worst generation

However Killer has been more active than Zoro during the past 2 years and he surely made a name of himself but he’s still at 350 mil, if I remember correctly… Sorry if I’m wrong

It would be unfair from Oda’s part to make Zoro’s bounty the same or even higher since Zoro hasn’t done enough to deserve that much
And Killer is definitely a bigger threat to the WG than Zoro

I’m not talking about strength here, Killer has been more active and ruthless than Zoro
Zoro has done nothing extraordinary so far so a 300mil is more than enough so far

      • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 11:47 am #

yeah thats what i thought he was away from the limelight

      • Dark_Ritual_Us - December 9, 2012 at 11:54 am #

@komo Killer bounty is 200mil. Last time I saw it.

      • ACE*** - December 9, 2012 at 11:55 am #

yeah but if the government finds out what happened with flamingo! the bounties wILL raise!! just like crocodile! so killer did do alot for 2 years but i dont think he was included in a taking out a big gun shihibukai!! i mean zoro the way he is now will not get a bigger bounty? why should he? but if something big happens he will be over 300 million!

      • Komori Ningen - December 9, 2012 at 12:13 pm #

        200mil ? Really ?
        That’s too bad
It seems like zoro’s bounty will be higher than killer’s very soon
That is, if they don’t ally to defeat the shichibukai

      • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 12:21 pm #

killer is a very interesting character his build is also too good, I am rearing to see him fight Mr.Bushido

      • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 12:26 pm #

Look at Killer its like he is on Steroids :P http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120114210604/onepiece/images/f/fe/Killer_Post_Timeskip.jpg

    • Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 1:17 pm #

IMO Zoro shold have a bounty of more or less 200 to 250 mil because that IMO is the threat level he is to the WG, while Luffy even though not that much stronger than Zoro definitely is a MUCH bigger threat which is the basis of calculating all the bounties.

So, when the WG realizes some of the exploits of the crew after entering rhe NW after a 2 yr absence (including maybe the re-destruction of NW, the alliance with a now rogue Schichi member Law etc), all the SHs might get bounty upgrades. Especially all the mess created by CC is dumped on to them. Smoker’s role might be crucial in determining what the WG ultimately ends up knowing about the whole episode here on PH and beyond and thus what the new bounties will be so its kinda early too to tell.

But, IMO, Zoro’s threat level NOW should easily be above the pre-TS Supernovas like Bege etc and thus his bounty shold be above 200 mil at least.

      • hakiuser - December 9, 2012 at 2:03 pm #

well sure, the bounty is the level of treat to the goverment..
but the giant that was in the anime has 320 mio. but he didnt do anything worse to the gvm.
if you apear in the NEW WORLD and are equal to a VA than your bounty rise to 300+ i guess !

  12. ACE*** - December 9, 2012 at 11:08 am #

what do u guys think of this theory:

the reason why dragon knew about kumas situation (cause he seemed to know it when he met ivankov again) and the reason why kuma handed himself over to the government and be more accurate to vegapunk is the following! he made a deal with vegapunk (who could be held captive by the government or who is one of the revolutionaries himself, in the sense of not agreeing with the governments ideals) that he will sacrifice himself to be a lab rat and in return, when the government fights the revolutionaries the Pxs will turn on them and will join dragon! i mean all vegapunk has to do is, to give them a different order! and like this the governments biggest trump card which they rely on SOO greatly will be turned against them!

this could atleast be possible! cause as of now, i cannot think of a better reason why else kuma did this!

    • imroronoazoro - December 9, 2012 at 11:13 am #

either vegapunk is a nutcase/mad scientist or is being controlled by telepathy, Kuma’s case sounds really weird maybe Kuma owes his life to Dragon for saving his kind ? in return Kuma readily accepted to be the lab rat and get info on vegapunk cuz vegapunk is more important that Kuma, i dont know exactly thats what i think, considering PX and all i dont think they are the threats for Pirates with Name , maybe a threat for the pirates in the background :P

    • Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 1:10 pm #

Yeah this theory has been around for a long time, and I even mentioned the thing about Kuma or VP turning ALL the PXs against the WG at a crucial moment in a post above somewhere. This has been theorized as the reason why Kuma not only joined in the first place – to strike or carry out the deal with VP on Dragon’s orders – but also the reason why Kuma was a government “dog” and followed every order – to maintain his position and ensure that he never lost the Schichi position’s access to VP and when the opportunity came up, he volunteered for the job of being PX-0.

THe only problem is that there isnt a lot of evidence because we ont see Dragon or the RA very often and Kuma’s own words were more like the only evidence to it until, as you mentioned, we saw Iva and Dragon talking.

    • nickname - December 9, 2012 at 1:33 pm #

it’s a good theory but i’m still kinda sceptical about this.

the reason why vegapunk most likely joined the WG in the first place was because they were the only organisation capable of supporting his research with every materials, engineers and other support he needs. at his home island he couldn’t succeed because he didn’t have that kind of support.

after seeing his conversation with CC, it’s clear vegapunk has still some morals but he also (ab)used ID prisoners for his research and this whole pacifista research can easily be described as playing with humans life.

my conclusion out of all of this is that vegapunk is not a bad person, i’m sure he intends to do his research for the better of mankind but i have the feeling all vegapunk cares about is his research and while his too throughrough pursuit of his research he kinda looses sight of what is the right thing to do and what shouldn’t be done.

that would also mean he still sides with the WG, they give him everything he needs and let him most likely do as he pleases. and since i think all vegapunk cares about is his research and that he doesn’t give a f*ck about politics.

my guess for his deal with kuma is that both had to get some kind of benefit out of this deal. vegapunk obviously got a perfect and willing test subject and i think kuma got VERY valuable information for dragon directly from the governemnt’s trump card, maybe even concerning the ancient weapons, plus he got the mission to ensure the SHs and the sunnys safety.

      • OPBIGGESTFAN - December 9, 2012 at 2:32 pm #

        ACE,,great freakin idea

    • Kakashi - December 9, 2012 at 4:41 pm #

Yeah but if and when we see a arc where VP is involved directly, we will most likely see a situation where VP is forced to make a choice, unless he’s already made his choice and then we will either see him change his mind or see the consequences of his choice get played out.

What VP himself could have got from Dragon/Kuma apart form a test subject is kind of hard to guess. Maybe some information Dragon collected about the Ancient Kingdom included some info about their technology that VP used/needed. Maybe it was the other way around and VP gave some info about such technology to the RA who can now use it in their plans. I am pretty sure that the RA in general and Dragon in particular have some knowledge about all this Void Century thing, possibly including the Will of D and the Ancients themsleves. Thats why Kuma sent Robin to the RA basically at the huge bridge.

How embarrassing, the same dream 3 nights in a row. I’ve clearly spent too much time on the site this weekend. Anyway

In the dream Luffy loses his right arm in a horribly brutal fight. His body creates somewhat an aura or after image of the arm from memory using the blood gushing out, I think its his Kings disposition – Luffy cloaks it in armament and creates a new arm. I think he was fighting Akainu or someone stronger

So I thought, could Shanks do that? Rayleigh did say the users spirit can manifest with Kings disposition.

@fame: seems like you have eaten OP dream dream no mi , beware you might be one of the nakamas or on lookers who are watching what everyone is doing and till now on one has noticed you watching them, you might die/get wounded in your dream and whatever happens it will happen the same in your real life. so better be careful and somehow if your not nakamas with SH’s be one ;)

CoA/CoC covering for a lost limb is pretty extreme, so IDK, but I guess it should be possible – since CoA has some “physical” manifestations in that it basically acts like a physical shield and also seems to have hardening properties and because CoC can emanate from the body, maybe a CoA-CoC mixture CAN indeed be used to replace of a missing limb. Sounds like a good idea for the final fight though, not earlier.
