モネはドフラの為にもう一つ眠っている起爆ｽｲｯﾁを押すつもり。
モネ『それ以上いわないでジョーカー 初めからそのつもりよ』

One Piece Chapter 693: Die for me
Franky and Buffalo+Baby 5 stare at each other in silence.
Franky breaks the silence abruptly by firing General Left at Buffalo, to their suprise.
General Left explodes on Buffalo, causing him to spiral down.
Franky continues to fire on them, separating Buffalo and Baby 5 as they fall.
Baby 5 doesn’t recognize General Franky, and wonders what it is… can’t be Pacifista, Caesar is not interested in human weapons.
She fires a massive gatling gun at GF, all bullets hitting him. To her surpirse, GF is still standing without any visible damage!
GF: General Im-a-OK!
Franky pulls off a tiny shield (The circle with star on his shoulder) and holds it defensively, to which Baby 5 points out he’s defending too late (he already got hit lol)
Franky in anger, throws the shield (CAPTAIN ROGERS IS THAT YOU?) General Shield Boomerang!
Baby 5: I guess you’re not satisfied with a toy eh? Alright… Espada Girl!
Baby 5′s upper torso becames a massive scimitar. She still has her eyes, goggles, mouth, and cigar on the blade lol.
Buffalo grabs her, and swings her around spinning using his spin ability, and slices the shield in half.
Baby 5 says if this robot is stopping them from recovering Caesar, then it’s clearly an enemy. Her upper torso turns into a bomb, and Buffalo spin-throws her at GF.
Franky fires at her, but takes evasive action to dodge the bullets, and slams herself into GF!
Huge explosion on the deck of the tanker.
Meanwhile, near the explosion on the tanker… Caesar regains conciousness.
He’s barely alive, and cannot even move himself. He pulls out Smoker’s heart, and decides to take down at least Smoker with him.
Meanwhile in Lab 3, building R
Law filled up the trolley with kids, marines, and himself, yelling at the Straw Hats to get in.
Luffy tells him the rest of his gang aren’t here yet, he’s not leaving without them.
Nami asks Sanji if Franky is ok, and Sanji answers he went to move Sunny to the sea, so he’s probably fine.
Chopper and Brook are 50m away from the door to building R. The marine medics are carrying Mocha, and they are all running for their lives as the gas is right on their tail.
Usopp tells them to dive in, the gates are nearly closing. The CC goons Usopp took out last chapter asks Usopp if it’s ok if they follow him down.
Chopper’s group makes it in just in time, as Luffy orders them to get on the trolley, they’re getting out of here.
Brook: What should we do!? What should we do about Kin-emon?
Momo: Kin-emon!?
Momo hears his dad’s name, turns around to see the petrified Kin-emon, and bursts into tears.
Monet: Joker… can you hear me? This Monet…
Dofla: Monet, glad to hear you’re alive… Vergo is taken out.
Monet: !!
Dofla: And Caesar as well… but Baby 5 and Buffalo may be able to recover him.
This is all due to my misplanning, I’m sorry. But to be safe, I want to destroy all those brats.
In that lab 3, there’s another weapon hidden there that destroyed lab 1 and 2 four years ago.
If you press the detonation button, the only one that will survive on that island will be Caesar who can withstand deadly poison.
The swith is located…..
Monet: You can stop there, Joker. I’ve planned that from the start as well.
Dofla: !?
Monet: I’m in front of that detonation switch right now. The explosion will reach the tanker. Everything will be lost, is that ok with you?
Dofla: … I’m sorry for this. Take everything down with you, and die for me!
Monet: Roger that, Young master..

One Piece 693 Trivia: Sanji and Usopp both claim to have never been sick, and thus do not know what it feels like. It is assumable Luffy has also never been sick, having asked them what it feels like.

I agree with komori, I don’t understand why so many want to see luffy in a full giant mode. it would pply look cool and stuff but that’s it.
big size isn’t an advantage in OP, quite the opposite is the case actually considering what happened to moriah, oars jr and CC. and just because luffy has haki doesn’t mean he is, unlike the 3 guys i named above, invincible against any kind of attack, especially if he fights the big shots in the NW.
Maybe he should shrink then if its possible for more speed

but seriously, croc and most other shichibukai might potentially fit into describtion rayleigh gave about the ppl who have the king’s disposition inside themselves but actually awakening and mastering it is a completely different story.

Actually, Buggy’s biggest flaw is that he never doubts anything he does at the moment… When it’s too late he sometimes reacts to it, but never doubts it…

i think what rayleigh meant with “the act of not doubting” is NEVER doubting his own strength or his own chances to beat any kind of enemy no matter how strong he is.
buggy is afraid of plenty of dangers, even though he tends to act without thinking in the heat of the moment, so he doesn’t really fit into the describtion of a CoC user.
he has at least some potential though, in terms of defense his df is pretty good otherwise he wouldn’t have survived the entire NW.

think people need to shutdown their “only luffy can have kings disposition” mindset.
you do realise its only ‘rare’ to have it, not ‘impossible’. ‘any’ powerful character could carry it. just like devil fruits are very rare, its possible to come across a user at any time.
haki exists in ‘all’ living creatures with resolve and willpower. kings dispositon is only not that common. its hardly a big deal. both ace and wb had it, look where they ended up.
both sanji and zoro where hinted to have it at fishman island as they know of the power and its capabilites. both mocking to replace luffy as captain if he couldn’t knock out at least 50,000 they’d replace him as captain.
interpret how you want, but it is possible for anyone strong willed to carry the kings disposition. whats the big deal

Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of Haki that CANNOT be attained through training and only one in a million people carry it,
so, of course king’s haki is very rare and it’s very special
the person who have king’s haki, are promised to a glorious future, like luffy (future king of pirates) whithebird, rayleigh ace shanks etc etc, so don’t be surprised if all the yonkos have the king’s haki, or maybe someone of the rookies (i can see kid because he is the future big rival to luffy)
i can see also zoro having king’s haki, not only because he’s the right arm of the future king of pirates, but also because oda always do so similitudes between roger and luffy (rayleigh who is the right arm has king haki,so is zoro)
all 3 of the haki types ‘cannot’ be ‘gained’ through training. everyone is born with haki, only few have the resolve to master it.
kings disposition is just rarer. no it doesn’t promise anything, its not even a big deal. it is found in those most famous on the seas. that could mean ‘anyone’ infamous. there is no distinction, its just rare, that is all. same as the DFs
people are confused. haki isnt a ‘superpower’ its just willpower. every living creature has a will, the strength of their resolve determines how strong that haki is. those with the strongest determination usually carry the kings disposition.

that being said, the haki (Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku) can only be brought out by lenghty periods of training (or it can be awakned other way)

Am I the only one who thinks there is too much of a reliance on DFs now? I wish there were more POWERFUL characters without DF powers everyone except Shanks, Mihawk, and maybe a few others have DFs…All supernovas except Killer and Zori (maybe Uruge), all admirals, Shichibukai, etc. It makes it seem like to be someone you need a DF.
i’ve always been against superpowers in comics, not really my glass of rose. all my favorite characters op are non DF users.
helps me appreciate being human. batman > superman, gatsu > goku.
Superman? I thought that counts as superpowers. I’m not totally against superpowers but a little less reliance would be nice imo. 5-6 more REALLY powerful characters without DF would do justice.

Rayleigh’s retired Zoro will be there when he’s able to fight equally with Mihawk Sanji will be there too; but I meant Admirals, Yonkou, Shichis in that league there are only 2 people I can think of: Mihawk and Shanks. (Garp and Rayleigh yea but they’re done) This is why I like the idea of Blackbeard’s DF draining users of their powers which will show Luffy doesn’t rely on his when they finally fight.
@Doflaminger, i kinda agree, but at the same time one piece is based on DF, it’s like saying i want more of people in naruto who can’t use jutsu (like rock lee or gai), or saying i want more people who don’t have shikai neither nakai (like zaraki)…
oh and vergo also don’t have DF, and he is strong!
Also we don’t know the power of the Gorosei and if they have DF’s.
We can’t just have a lot of strong non-Df users…only ‘epic’ people can have that.
Garp, Rayleigh, Shanks, Zoro, etc.
If they didn’t have a DF, they would have to be physically strong,strong haki, good swordsmanship.
But we don’t have any NEW ERA people Rayleigh and Garp aren’t going to be involved in much fighting now or with any of the major characters…excluding them there’s only Mihawk, Shanks Zoro isn’t strong enough to be considered epic; if he fought against the likes of the Yonkou, Admirals, Mihawk he’d loose.
We got Coby who’ll be beating the crap outta of Luffy in the future, Zoro will beat the crap out of every swordsman out there, more to come…they’re young. OP is only 60% done

for the first time ever, the boys life changed completely for better or worse (prolly worse). you see boys and girls, in life we face many trials, but there is one lesson to never forget -dont choose your favorite characters too soon, the world isn’t as forgiving as you think it is.

@Shisui you should catch up soon, lol I promise you won’t regret. The second half of the series just recently begun so IMO now is the perfect time for readers to catch up. Plus it’s winter break, if you have the time you can just marathon the whole thing online. That’s how I caught up 2 summers ago. Also you should skip some Arcs like “Skypiea”and “Davy back fight” and go back to it after you’re caught up.
