I think I know how unohana zanpakuto changed. At some point in the past she changed she beginned to value life more, I think atfer that change she probly had a very tough battle that pushed her to use her bankai. During the battle her bankai broke and it was later reforged by Ouetsu which could explain how the SS most evil villian is know its greatest healer.
i was thinking that she decided to change her ways– as her healing teacher was part of the original gotei 13 before getting promoted by the soul king…. she learned his techniques and instead of a fighter, she focused on healing from then on…

oooo Gin vs uruhara till death …..mm very difficult to say it would be a good match that’s for sure both long distance fighters both kinda creepy and sneaky and both smart as fock damn difficult to say who would win xd
we have not seen uruharass bankai so at this moment i would say Gin but even with uruharas bankai it would have to be realy something to beat Gin i say Gin

Shinso’s speed is not that good.Hitsugaya was able to dodge it and Byakuya was able to beat(compete) it.However Kimishininoyari is something that is (almost)impossible to catch up.
to be honest when Gin was fighting toshiro he wasn’t trying to kill toshiro (that’s why aizen give him the “look”) so it’s hard to say if that was gin true speed of his base form
even when fighting ichigo gin was more like testing ichigo the realy trying to eliminate him
the only time he got serious was when he displayed it against aizen
kubo what a waste letting a caracter like Gin die i would prefer him over 8 other captains any day
i hope Gin returns you can do it Kubo it’s not like it will be your first troll O_o
At start he was not serious but when he released shinso he had The Look in his eyes.(against toshiro)
Gin also said that his zanpaktou isnt as fast as he orginally claimed, so that could actually be its real speed….just my lil 2 cents

I have a feeling Urahara, Isshin and Ryuuken or Ishida have a strong chance of being war potentials.

the way i see it is the 5 war powers are realy special
3 mentioned Ichigo (main caracter don’t even have to mention him)
aizen (immortal and smart as fok) realy a good asset on the battlefield and Kenpachi a beast on the battlefield(not even using his full shikai) with no fear or hesitation to kill any1 who stands in his way…
so saying that these 3 caracters are special the other 2 has to be realy something and got to have uniqe abilities i don’t see uruhara having that special powers only for his mind other than that hard to say i would say that Mayuri has a better chance of being a war power rather than uruhara (mainly becouse he has more knowledge about qincies than uruhara) and he studied them specialy yea he’s not that powerfull but he is a dangerous man with his freakish abilities
as a bleach reviewer i wouldn’t take Mayuri as lightly as he apears
the other one has to be Unohana if she is no war power than im missing something xd
Kenpachi was said to be one of SS war potentials not overall in the war like Ichigo, Aizen plus the 3 we dont know.

great show on your view of the story 8/10 for it
kenpachi will learn the art of killing at the expense of Unohana’s kenpachi heritage and Unohana will continue her job as the captain of 4th squad.However she is going to fight in this arc as kubo stated.Shunsui realized that the battle between the two will cost one of them their lives so he may(will) stop the carnage when it’ll come to this.I also have a feeling that kubo may kill her off in this arc to make kusajishi her legacy.
But considering her size, would it be even possible?:P
When ichigo and renji will have reached their limits and will be cursing the moment they lost their zanpaktu(repenting over their swordlessness) and longing for having the zanpaktu in earnest,we will(may) see zangetsu and zabimaru in action.

about that novel the story itself is not canon however there are parts kubo siad about is true for example the Ex Zero Espada was siad to be Resserreccion ichigos equal and that he had the power to blow away Barragan and Starks Repirea and Wolves with just the Wind force off of his Spirit pressure and another canon statement was that those with Higher Spirit pressure can see through his illusions by Nullifying them like he did Soifons and thats why he didn’t use KS one ichigo, isshin, urahara, yamamoto, and its also why Unohana could notice Imperfections on his fake death body bc her SP afffected his illusion

How strong will Byakuya and Kenpachi be after this?
Byakuya will be the same just more creative, while Kenpachi will be stronger.

Too soon to tell.However I doubt that they will surpass Unohana,Kyoraku,Aizen and Urahara(we have to see his full potential yet).

you just made a contradiction. Hashwald is stronger than Aizen. Remember Hashwald is the only character in bleach that has broken Tensa Zangetsu. Even Aizen couldn’t do that. Hashwald has only one feat in the series, and that one feat is greater than Aizen, Breaking Tensa Zangetsu.
oh yeah, and only two stern ritter used there Vollständig. Even Juha didn’t use his Vollständig and beat yamamoto. They haven even shown there true capabilities yet.
Well tbh,I doubt that zangetsu’s soul was with ichigo(in the sword) when he(hashwald) did that.that’s why he was able to break it like that.And it is still not there.

And how can you forget that Aizen has blocked Tensa Zangetsu with bear hands twice.
Aizen still could not break tensa zangetsu.
Maybe Aizen didn’t want to break Zangetsu? He wanted Ichigo to “evolve” and after that happened Aizen wasn’t strong enough to break his sword.

it doesn’t matter if tensa zangetsu’s spirit was there or not. If it did matter then ichigo would not have beaten Kugo ginjo, Asguiaro Ebern, nor Quilge Opie. but he did so it doesn’t matter. The strength of a Zanpakuto depends on the users Reiryoku. if the Zanpakuto Reiryoku isn’t strong enough, then the blade will be cut like butter.
I think he didn’t give it a try or he could have break it like Lisa and Sajin. He has a spiritual pressure equivalent to that of Unohana or Yama. So it’s not like he could’t.
I despise artists who find it acceptable to recycle characters, killing and resurrecting only to kill them again to no cause.
When Kubo kills, they’re dead, if they survive, they live on. The aspect of recycling ruins stories, shows author’s indecision and lack of conviction. I drop interest.
I can praise Kubo for being unlike Kishi or some others. But if more characters who were supposed to die, survive only to die again, I’ll be disgusted.
An artist must show resolve and conviction in his work, never hesitating, especially when writing stories based on those principles, he/she’s a fraud otherwise.

The final war will be fought at an ice palace(which is probably the quincy’s hideout). which means that quincies won’t be the 1st to attack.
The question is who will guide the soul reapers to that palace?
Yorouichi,Mayuri or Urahara(since he is in HM where vandernic is supposed to be)?
maybe uryuu, ryuken, or even ichigo since they are Quincy.
