Chapter 699: The morning news

Doflamingo simply grinns, and ignores Kuzan’s warnings and he swings his hands down to Smoker.
Kuzan freezes Doflamingo, stopping his hands short from Smoker’s face mere inches away.
The entire area is frozen from Kuzan’s power.

Doflamingo breaks out of the ice like nothing, but it seems to have used some strength in him, he is panting heavily.
According to Buffalo, Dofla wasn’t frozen to the core.

Dofla says he has no intention to fight Kuzan, but since he is unable to silence Smoker, he will choose a different plan.
He turns around and ask one last thing to Kuzan… “Exactly what ARE you now, Kuzan!? I don’t hear very good rumor about you….”
Kuzan ignores him, and asks the marines to come tend Smoker.
Dofla leaves with his crew, laughing.

As he sits atop flying Buffalo, he ponders how the face of a simple wanderer and the face of someone with determination is different…
hinting Kuzan is a determined man out to accomplish some goal.

Kuzan: From the start, I’ve never considered the World Government to be everything. There are things you can accomplish without being a marine. There are things you can see once you are unaffiliated.
Smoker: I was dead just now…
Kuzan: heheh, that means me coming here is a turn of fate, eh?
Smoker: Why did you com here?
Kuzan: To see your face.
Smoker: How did you know here? Don’t tell me you got connection to the dark underground?

The G5 marines are surprised, a former admiral mingling with the criminal underground?
But their thoughts are cut short as Kuzan yells them to scurry off once they’re done tending Smoker.
Kuzan: I’m still just me, Smoker..
Smoker: ….. fine then.

Kuzan then warns him to not let his sight off Doflamingo’s moves.
He is both a Shichibukai and the king of Dressrosa. He is in a very unique position as a pirate, different from Hancock.
He tells Smoker to go report Dofla’s moves to Sakazuki, and have them deply the Admirals.
If this all rolls down, the worst case scenario, this will end up becoming the biggest hit Sakazuki’s New Marines have ever faced.

Kuzan: I’ve warned you…
He then turns around to the G-5 and tells them: Hey! About you guys seeing me here… um… oh well, I forgot what I was gonna say. Nevermind.
But the G-5 agrees to keep their mouth shut about seeing him here.

Usopp is worried there will be tens of thousands of hot pursuit after them.
He is fully armored in Samurai armor, conjured by Kinemon. (Luffy calls him “Kin”)
Chopper and Brook are dressed in armor as well, they are also not happy with the decision to fight a Yonkou.
(Chopper is talking like a samurai, lol)

Meanwhile, Kin-emon is attacking Zoro with fire sword technique.
Zoro doesn’t fight back, trying to reason with him. Kinemon saw the sword “Shusui” the legendary Ryouma was using.
Apparently someone robbed the grave of Ryouma, the legendary “hero” of Wano, few years back and shocked the whole nation.
Kin assumed Zoro was the one who stole the sword, while Zoro makes futile attempt to deny.

Sanji is cooking pizzas for the crew. Kin asks Nami where Momo is, only to learn he is taking a bath with Robin.

Fully naked, Robin is scrubbing Momo.
They come out, Momo is snuggling up to Robin’s breast as she walks out in bath towel.
The three pervs are enraged, accusing Momo of using his child-status to take advantage of the situation, but they are silenced by Nami.
(silenced = beat the shit out)
Momo then snuggles up to Nami, to much despair of the trio.
But they witnessed Momo’s face, obviously that of a schemer, doing exactly what the trio accused him of.

Usopp and Chopper can’t sleep from the fear of pursuit, and watches over the deck.
Kin and Sanji can’t sleep from being pissed at Momo.
Franky keeps eyes out on the sea, while the rest of the crew sleeps….

Next morning, the crew wakes up to The Soul King’s recital. (LOL)

Law checks the morning news….
Headline: Donquioxte Doflamingo quits the Shichibukai!
He also abandons the throne of Dressrosa!

Usopp: He really quit!?
Brook: The throne!? You mean he was a King!?
Luffy: King? King of what, birds?
Franky: Things are going way too smoothly, it’s creepy.
Law: This is fine… he had no other choice!
Caesar: I can’t believe you went and did that FOR ME!
Luffy: So um, why are our faces on here as well?
Everyone: huh!?

Shichibukai Trafalgar Law joins alliance with Straw Hat Luffy!
What judgement the government will have with Law is unknown at this point!

Meanwhile, around the world…
random pirate captain: What is going on with the newspaper today!? Doflamingo quits, Law and Straw Hats are allied…
and these guys as well!? Kid, Apoo, Hawkins!?

The news announces the trio’s alliances as well.
People around the world are stunned that these powerful rookies from 2 years ago are joining up alliances.
Luffy: Oh these guys too? I wonder if we’re all thinking the same thing!
Law: Focus on Doflamingo for now…

Law tells the SH they now should know how important this deal was. All they did was kidnap Caesar.
Dofla threw away both the throne he held for 10 years, as well as his rights to piracy as Shichibukai
If he returns this man now, the deal is complete…. BUT…..

Doflamingo sitting in his room, recieves a phonecall from Law….

- Gigant penguin has the same personality as Aokiji.
- Aokiji and Marine scene is funny.
- Momonosuke part is very funny, his face with Nami and Robin and Sanji/Brook/Kinemon reactions are the best.
- We could see official wanted poster of Law, Kid, Appo and Hawkins with new pictures after time-skip.
