The logical sequence to the plot is:

1 – Hyuse joining T2 for the final B battles
2 – T2 achieving the goal of becoming an A rank unity
3 – Trouble with Kido before the officialization of T2 as A rank
4 – Trouble with Miwa finding clues about Hyuse being a neighbor

    Questions:

    – Do you think I missed something?
    – What do you think will happen first after all that: expeditions or A rank battles?

    • Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 2:21 pm #

@Kouhei Interesting. But I kind of think that you’re missing the bigger picture. I’ll try answering your questions to the best of my abilities:

      1) The present date in the manga is Feb 22nd (Saturday). There is a break on Feb 26th (Wednesday) and Round 7 is on March 1st (Saturday). Hyuse is already B-Rank and he has a week to practice as a team. So Hyuse will show up in the next battle.

      2) T-2 will definitely not become A-Rank before the Selection Exam. Confirmed. If you recall, their sole reason to become A-Rank was to make the Away Squads Selection Exam. But in Ch. 105 Kikuchihara hints that the selection might be conducted during the first half of the Rank War season (Season starts on Feb 1st and goes on until April end). That statement alone was enough to prove that T-2 will not make A-Rank before the selection exam. In Ch. 149, Kido confirms that there are only 3 rounds before the selection exam. This means that the exam is going to be conducted after Mar 1st and before Mar 7th. He also says that if T-2 can make the top two places in B-Rank, then they’ll be given a shot in the Selection Exam. This solves all their troubles and they need not aim for A-Rank at all. Rather they need to maximise their performance in the next two battles.

      3) Kido and T-2 have a mutual agreement which I have explained in Point 2. So there will most likely be no problems in that aspect.

      4) This is something that I cannot answer right now. But maybe if it were for the greater good and with constraints, Miwa might comply. However, my answer (and anybody else’s) is highly speculative.

The A-Rank battles are months away from now. The Selection exams are a full three months before any of the A-Rank battles can even begin. Also, there is literally no necessity of T-2 becoming A-Rank, especially after we know Kido’s conditions. I hope I covered all the points lol

      • Kouhei - September 23, 2016 at 4:27 pm #

I think I missunderstood it. I forgot the away team.

          Ahaha No
It’s a shonen sci-fi manga about inter dimensional travel and technologies called triggers

        • Sogekun 2.0 - September 23, 2016 at 4:25 pm #

          Reading it now! :D

        • Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 5:55 pm #

          Please read it
          Sogekun
It’s slow at the beginning because IMO the creator had problems with the pacing but as soon as he introduced Jin, things start to get better and better.
159 chapters later, World Trigger is my second favourite weekly read

        • Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 5:57 pm #

Damn! Whatsapp? No. How about MAL? or Gmail?

        • Sogekun 2.0 - September 25, 2016 at 3:56 am #

          @Tomodachi

I don’t have MAL account, and I can’t give my mail here. It doesn’t matter, I can still read it in Mangamint.

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 5:50 am #

@Sogekun Mangamint scans are horrible. And the volume has certain good extras and character profiles. You mail me on the address below, I’ll give you the link there. Mail me on alektor.bt@gmail.com

          All the pleasure is mine.
I’m looking forward to having discussions about WT with you brother.
Hopefully you will enjoy the series

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 10:38 am #

@Sogekun Sent you the link. You can only download them. There is no way to read them online. There are 16 volumes I believe. The rest of the scanlation is fine. If you still have a problem, I’ll mail you Vol. 17 too.

        • Sogekun 2.0 - September 25, 2016 at 2:21 pm #

          @Tomodachi @Komori

Thanks men. I’ll let you know my WT progress. So far I have read 5 chapters.

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 6:22 pm #

All the more better. At least you read only a few chapters of the shitty translations. Now you can read HQ ones from scratch lol

  3. Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 4:05 pm #

Why is Tachikawa Number one again ?
To tell you the truth, he only impressed me against the rabbits
He might have a SE but it looks like he does not
Against the 4 arms dude (forgot his name) he was alright

There’s probably something to him that Sensei is hiding

He’s more skilled than Jin using Kogetsu

    • Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 4:40 pm #

What about cutting down that Ilgar in self destruct mode? Even Yuma thought that was hella impressive. I think Tachikawa doesn’t have an SE. This is because all the people who’ve been shown to have SEs have Trion>7 but Tachikawa’s is 6. But there’s definitely a reason why this dude is at the top.

      • Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 6:04 pm #

I’m sure that if murakami can’t beat him despite knowing his fighting style; There is surely a thing or 2 we don’t know about him.
My man Kazama is an assassin and Sasuke lost brother Miwa has great fighting instincts

        • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:28 am #

That’s one of the biggest surprises. Even I feel that Kazama had better portrayal but Tachikawa is Number 1.

        • Komori Ningen - September 25, 2016 at 10:15 am #

That’s the thing, Daisuke sensei stated that Tachikawa was firstly supposed to fight against one aftokrator’s member but. The flow in which his writing follows changed it.
Now I was expected him to show off his skills against the captain of Galapoula, he showed good team work and he managed to cut one arm off his trigger but still I’m expecting more for the overall number 1 in Border

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 10:41 am #

I didn’t know about that statement until now. It would’ve been awesome to see his fights though. I’m pretty sure we’re gonna see some good ones in the next arc though.

IMO, The best performer in the Galopula face off was Kazama. He was just too epic. The way he gives instructions etc. just shows he’s a really astute commander. On top of that, he beat Rata who has a ranged trigger (very similar to Organon) with Scorpion. That’s just sick!

      • Komori Ningen - September 26, 2016 at 6:25 am #

Absolutely, Kasama is my favourite design and my second favourite character in the series, he’s plain badass

        • Komori Ningen - September 26, 2016 at 6:31 am #

          @tomodachi by the way

  4. Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 6:08 pm #

You know, there was this thing I noticed. Ikoma 6th best attacker, right? 11777 points. Murakami is the 4th best and he has 12042 points. That is a mere ~250 point jump for two ranks. Maybe their skill levels are the same. I underestimated Ikoma since he was two ranks lower. I guess their skills are almost identical.

    • Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 6:10 pm #

      So without taking any names, 1 > 2 > 3 >> 4 >= 5 >= 6. I think this should be a fair estimate. Agree?

    • Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 6:13 pm #

That would explain why he didn’t get overwhelmed by Kuga
It was as if he wasn’t pushed to his limits.
Ikoma is one fun character, that’s for sure

      • Tomodachi - September 23, 2016 at 6:22 pm #

Yeah. He was too damn chilled out. Now I think Hyuse is gonna have a tough time. Earlier, I overlooked the fact that it was just 250 point difference. I was kinda thinking that Murakami would be one rung above Ikoma. Ashihara says no.

    • Kouhei - September 23, 2016 at 6:55 pm #

Do you think Kageura deserves 20th? By points, he is the 20th. But his abilities doesn’t match his position.

      • Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 9:20 pm #

        @Kouhei
It was said that kageura got points taken away because of bad conduct

I think he would be up there with the likes of murakami

        • Kouhei - September 23, 2016 at 9:38 pm #

Yeah, that’s my point. The score doesn’t mean that much.

      • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:14 am #

With the exception of a selected few personnel, the points system describes the overall skill of an agent with great precision. Kageura is likely on Kazama’s or Konami’s level. His score would’ve been north of 15000 points which is a full 3000 points more than Murakami. I believe Kageura is the real 3rd/4th strongest attacker Border has.

    • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:42 am #

My bad. Ikoma’s points are 11177. The fuck? I need to get my eyes checked lol

      • Komori Ningen - September 25, 2016 at 9:59 am #

So the gap with Murakami is huge after all

    • Kouhei - September 23, 2016 at 9:39 pm #

      WT is the new OP!

      • Komori Ningen - September 23, 2016 at 9:53 pm #

        Blasphemy !!! Lol
There’s not such thing as the new OP
WT is the non big 3 manga to reach 100 comments this year

        • Kouhei - September 23, 2016 at 9:56 pm #

No blasphemy! Just imagine this topic when more people reaches the current chapter!

        • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:18 am #

Unfortunately, WT cannot be OP. But the good thing is that the ones who read this series and participate in discussions mainly stay on topic. So, that’s an achievement in itself already :P

        • Komori Ningen - September 24, 2016 at 10:22 pm #

          As Tomodachi said
Although WT is good, it is not for most of the people
Young people are mostly shallow, the art, the action, the fan. Service. Those are what most jump readers are looking for.
WT is the only action shonen which goes against most of the above mentioned points.
It has no forced humour, no fan service, no in your face action scenes, no fire punch or something like that

  7. Opfan - September 24, 2016 at 1:09 am #

WT surely has the potential to become the next big 3 manga.
    Op no 1
    Wt no 2
I wonder what manga can be no 3.

    • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:26 am #

Unfortunately, WT cannot be the next OP, nor in the Big 3. This is a niche manga for a select few only. It’s like some kinda cult readership, but those who read this manga actually love it. It’s a hit or miss kinda manga. Which is why the segment of the Japanese population towards which this is aimed for also ranks it in the middle segments only. More direct manga like Black Clover which directly appeal to this segment are ranked higher and generally get better reception. This is a highly off beat manga. It’s like the stark opposite of what Shonen usually is. I can’t see 14-15 year old kids be like “What brilliant character development! This series has awesome world building and beautiful details.” No. They’ll be like “Hell yeah! That attack looks DOPE!” So while this manga has such moments, they aren’t really over the top like others. The readership age of this manga and the age demographic it is aimed for is different.

      • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 5:29 am #

I think the Big 3 will be OP, Boku no and Black Clover.

  8. ThePiece - September 24, 2016 at 11:04 am #

what do you think the final objective in this manga is? Surely just saving Chika brother can’t be the only objective of this manga, their must be some underlying plot that will be revealed in the future.

  9. Opfan - September 24, 2016 at 11:32 am #

This section already got more posts than sns n toriko. WT FTW! U should put WT up there @admin.

    • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 12:14 pm #

Happened last week too. Only difference is that this time the difference is more XD

  10. Opfan - September 24, 2016 at 12:51 pm #

The bad thing is I can’t really discuss anything about WT other than its plot, positive, negative points. I can’t even remember who the f murakami is, who tf ikoma is. Lmao. For somewhat reason I find myself unable to remember the side characters of this manga..

    • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 12:58 pm #

      http://worldtrigger.wikia.com/wiki/Characters

Most of the characters are really recognisable. Most of the lower ranked squads can be ignored as the discussions are mostly about the top dogs lol

    • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 1:02 pm #

Lmao Ikoma is the Senku guy in the recent chapters. Murakami is that guy with enhanced memory. Chapter 93.

      • Opfan - September 24, 2016 at 1:06 pm #

        Wt characters I remember:
Osamu, kuga, chika, replica, hyuse, jin, kitora, forgot the name of the kid n capibara, forgot t1 name but jin, lmao. Who tf is miwa again? Never remember those girls team. Forgot the name of the neighbor who’s held prisoner. Forgot the names of aftokrator invader, etc….. N here I am remember the name of all bijuus..

        • Tomodachi - September 24, 2016 at 1:14 pm #

You NEED to read the series again lol.

        • Opfan - September 24, 2016 at 1:30 pm #

Come to think of it, I think I consider those b rank teams as stepping stone n won’t matter at all, lol. Maybe that’s why

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 6:01 am #

I think that might not be the case. The author has gone into great detail and has designed even the trigger sets for each and every B-Rank team. Also, lots of B-Rank squads participated in the defense during the invasions. Some high rankers are also among the B-Rank squads. Ninomiya and Kageura squads are directly involved in the main plot. But I do agree with it conditionally i.e. I don’t think most of the lower B-Rank squads will have a big impact, but the high ranking ones will definitely have one.

    • Komori Ningen - September 24, 2016 at 7:14 pm #

You know what was the highlight of this chapter to me ?
Besides the obvious hyuse’s ownage, it’s the characters interaction throughout the chapter.
All these B-Rank agents, although they compete against each other, they’re first and foremost friends.
It was so refreshing to have the different teams agents out of a rank war acting like friends, backing up for each other and joking and stuff.
This gives life to the characters beyond their initial purpose, they have a life, friends and their own personalities.

Small things like Ikoma calling Koarai “koala” and poking Arashiyama’s cheek, says volume about characters interaction.

This, in my opinion, is one of WT strength

      • Opfan - September 25, 2016 at 2:32 am #

True. They compete in a healthy way, but I won’t mind if 1 or 2 teams just compete for fame or strength. N it may be good to have a traitor or something to make the story more intriguing. Maybe in future.

        • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 6:03 am #

Being traitors means taking sides with Neighbours as of now. While I think that there will not be any traitors, there are likely to be vigilantes like Hatohara and Rinji who (probably) went to the Neighbour’s side illegally.

        • Opfan - September 25, 2016 at 6:10 am #

Yes, u know human, not to mention the soldiers r mostly teenagers. Neighbors could just bribe them or even better, threaten them.

      • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 5:54 am #

Agree. Border is just one huge family. Also, if you look at the details, it’s the 16 year olds hanging out together (Sasamori and Koarai) and 19 year olds (Ikoma and Arashiyama) together. These small details make the series more natural.

        • Komori Ningen - September 25, 2016 at 9:45 am #

Wow. I looked past that !
It’s true that Ikoma is friend with Arashiyama and they’re both in the same age range.
Koala did call his name in a respectful manner

  11. Opfan - September 25, 2016 at 4:07 am #

I have a feeling that Dark continent arc aka neighbors arc will be the best arc ever!!!

    • Sogekun 2.0 - September 25, 2016 at 4:55 am #

      Hunter x Hunter?

      • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 6:04 am #

You’ve probably not reached a point where you can understand this post :P

    • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 6:05 am #

That would be lit. Aftokrator was really good with a wide variety of Triggers, Expedition Arc will at least be of that level.

      • Opfan - September 25, 2016 at 6:08 am #

I can see miden will built or join alliance against the dictatorship of the enemy. There will also be peaceful neighbors.

    • Komori Ningen - September 25, 2016 at 9:56 am #

      The best and the longest.

That arc has too many sub-plots to it already and Afto won’t be the first planet they reach in the neighbourhood.

Besides, we have no idea in which country, the humans captured during the first invasion are !

Still we still have no clue about the humanoid neighbour who did what it did to kuga (don’t want to spoil too much)

Again we have no clue if we can find the recovery trigger that would resolve kuga’s problem

There’s also chika’s problem to be solved as well.

All in all, I highly doubt that one trip would solve everything.
So all depends on WT’s success in the following arcs, if it keeps its story as consistent as now, I can see the manga last another 5 years before reaching its conclusion

      • Tomodachi - September 25, 2016 at 10:50 am #

Kido saying they’re going to need Chika to reduce the amount of refueling needed is already a big foreshadowing that there are going to be intermediate stops. So I agree with your statement. There are so many problems and equally large number of stakeholders. Pretty sure it’s going to be a fantastic culmination of all the previous arcs and setups and foreshadowing.

  12. Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 11:29 am #

Major spoilers ahead. Proceed at your own risk.

I just noticed something. When Jin fights Tachikawa, Kazama, Utagawa and Kikuchihara during the BT retrieval arc (Ch. 27), he decides to take down Kikuchihara with the surprise hit of Fujin. Many chapters later, we’re shown how dangerous Kikuchihara’s SE is in their fight against Enedora. It had the potential to turn the tide of the battle against Jin. That’s some awesome writing there.

    • Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 12:33 pm #

How do you think Shiro’s SE could turn the tide of the battle? Hearing something between Jin and Arashiyama Squad?

      • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 12:44 pm #

For one, Jin’s ambush attack inside the garage wouldn’t have worked. If you recall, he also played a crucial role in Shinoda v. Enedora too by helping Shinoda determine where the attacks were coming from. Kikuchihara’s support is OP in a team battle because it gives you the ability to sense attacks without seeing them. I’m not saying Tachikawa’s team would’ve definitely won, I’m saying the odds would’ve drastically changed.

        • Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 2:16 pm #

I did not remembered about the ability to sense attacks without seeing them. That makes perfect sense, and Jin’s strategy is correct. Nice catch!

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 2:27 pm #

Yep. Kazama himself stated how useful enhanced hearing is in battle. Shiori also explains that audio signals are easy to process and hence make sharing easier.

    • Komori Ningen - September 26, 2016 at 1:01 pm #

      Oh snap,you’re right
Removing Kikuchihara first was the safest way to achieve victory…
      Hmm, impressive

  13. Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 2:20 pm #

About side effects, I don’t think it’s possible to rank them. But who’s SE is the best in battle?

    • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 2:36 pm #

Border ranks side effects according to their category (Refer Ch. 56) But at the same time, the author has explicitly stated that rank does not equal strength and depending on how it is used, its value is raised.

In battle? It’s a really tough question. But I think I’ll go with Jin. His SE is just like Sharingan and he can work wonders with it. To add, I also think that SE doesn’t make or break an agent. Both Tachikawa and Kazama don’t have any SE but they’re at the top of their respective weapons category i.e. Kogetsu and Scorpion. Tachikawa was supposedly better than Jin too. That itself should speak volumes about how much SE affect a battle. Kageura and Kikuchihara get honorable mentions too. To be fair, I think most SE help in battle.

    • Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 3:57 pm #

I really like the SE of that Galoupola guy. To do 2 things at the same time and with the same concentration is perfect for battles.

      • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 4:02 pm #

Yep. But how would it really help in battles? One can only use two triggers simultaneously. Either way, I think it might help as an operator but not in real battles. As an operator, he’d blow the competition away.

@Logic What’s your opinion of WT so far?

    • Logicofthevi - September 26, 2016 at 3:06 pm #

It’s been ok so far. I am definitely interested in the neighbors world. Who they are, why there are good and bad neighbors. What their society is like and why they need to collect humans for trion. I am really interested in learning about Kuga’s father, a lot of mystery surrounding that situation. I don’t have a favorite character as yet and would like a little more explanation into the trion body that they fight with. Also the thing about the Black Trigger is pretty interesting as well. There are some things I think I will really enjoy once they are fleshed out and explained better.

      • Opfan - September 26, 2016 at 3:12 pm #

The author leaves no plot hole I tell ya

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 3:44 pm #

+1. None until now. Literally none. In fact, I’ve been discovering more details and foreshadowing of late.

      • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 3:43 pm #

@Logic Kuga’s father’s situation has been explained for now, right? What’s special about WT is that all the characters interact really well with each other. If you like consistent series, then this one is for you. Lots of things make sense with more events unfolding.

Here’s more information about Trion and Trion bodies.

Where I am at it has been said that he is one of the founding members of Boarder. He has ties to the upper echelon of the organization but nothing more has been said. The three different relationships with the neighbors has been explained. One Group feels they are all enemies, another believes some can be good, and the other just seems to do their job.

This is all I have to say to you :D

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 4:38 pm #

Are you reading the Viz volumes? The battles look good in HQ.

        • LogicoftheVI - September 26, 2016 at 5:04 pm #

I have not been able to get the viz volumes to download to my Mega account so sadly I have been reading the shitty scanlations.

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 5:13 pm #

          Check MAL.

        • Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 5:14 pm #

I wonder why mangastream doesn’t has WT on their weekly jobs

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 5:22 pm #

Kouhei bro, if you want the HQ Viz volumes (to read some of the battles in HQ again) with all the extras and character profiles, mail me on my ID above. I’ll give you the link to download them.

        • LogicoftheVI - September 26, 2016 at 5:26 pm #

@Kouhei Maybe they don’t feel it is popular enough.

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 5:28 pm #

@Logic You cannot be more mistaken. Mangafox is one of the biggest manga sites there is and WT is THE MOST POPULAR manga on their site with over 3 million views monthly.

        • Kouhei - September 26, 2016 at 5:46 pm #

Tks @tomo, I’m gonna read others next, but I’ll definetelly will read WT again.

I’ve gotta the felling that WT is not so popular yet. As we talked above, it’s not for everyone. Kids prefer Fairy Tail and stuff like that.

        • Tomodachi - September 26, 2016 at 5:54 pm #

No problem man. Just PM me when you feel like reading it. I’ll send you the volumes.

        • Komori Ningen - September 27, 2016 at 8:13 am #

          @Tomo, What a surprise !!!
          Number 1 in mangafox ?!!
The last time I was there it was around 59 and it was after the anime so… That’s surprising
I remember when I used to get chinese raws in their spoiler section, I was so into the manga I would look for chinese raws in chinese site where I couldn’t even read hoe to access to the scans…
Lol, that was the time when nobody was continuing the scanlation and it stagnated for months and people start picking it up just after the announcement of the anime.

        • Tomodachi - September 27, 2016 at 9:29 am #

There was definitely a time when the scanlation went into a long hiatus. At least now we have some dedicated /a/nons giving us quick translations. And yeah, I was pretty much surprised about the first position too. But too bad, the discussions in their forums is about some extreme long term stuff that no one can logically predict. So I stick to other forums. And like I said to Kouhei earlier about the Viz translations, the same obviously extends to you and Persona and Bwahahaha and anyone else who’d like to read some HQ scans. Don’t hesitate to mail me in case you wanna read them :)

Character analysis: Osamu Mikumo Part1: (Spoilers ahead)

I had always wondered if weak characters would be likeable in a manga. Osamu answered my question succinctly. Leading the popularity polls by a huge margin, this dude is a fan favourite. While this is the case IRL, the characters in the manga are also intrigued by him. What could the reason be? Imo, it’s his earnestness. Despite being weak and not having any special ability unlike other Shonen heroes, this guy gives it his all, and smartly at that.

He is the lynchpin that holds T-2 together. Yuma himself asked him to be the captain. It is his earnestness that made Replica entrust a dying Yuma to him and also sacrifice himself to protect the human world. The mighty Kazama who is a very serious guy is also interested in Osamu and even gave him a chance after 20 losses. Compared to this, Yuma got a royal snub from him. Karasawa gave him an opportunity to present his side of the story due to his earnestness. Kitora who is cold af decided to teach him Spider. Kikuchihara who is a recluse spoke to Osamu giving him subtle suggestions. Even Tokieda was surprised by this. Chika was entrusted to him by Rinji because of it.

There are so many events which all make us see characters in a new light. I brushed off his personality in the beginning with prejudice. The way things have turned around now, it makes me realise what a well written character he is.

    To be continued.

    • Tomodachi - September 27, 2016 at 11:00 am #

This part focuses on his personality. His strategies, potential and growth will be left for the other parts.

      • Opfan - September 27, 2016 at 11:58 am #

At least u won’t be doing Kuga 1000000000000 – osamu 0.. or Osamu is last, just as crap compared to other crap. Lmao

    Spoiler

Do you think that Aftokrator will re program our friend who sacrificed himself to end the invasion ?

    • Kouhei - September 28, 2016 at 9:10 pm #

I got very sad about it. I think there’s a high chance of that happening, but he will be back to normal.

    • Tomodachi - September 29, 2016 at 5:05 am #

Tbh he was the MVP in that war. Maximum contribution via assists. No one else comes close. He was almost like an MC, holding a cardinal position in the series. I really felt bad for him when he was killed and yeah, it’d be pretty awesome to see him resurrected.

  19. Kouhei - September 28, 2016 at 9:08 pm #

    Conclusions and Predictions:

1 – If Hyuse had a BT, he would be strong as rank-S.

2 – Seems like Aftokrator has swordsmen.

3 – Ashihara said on twitter that there are 6 Border brenches. I think each brench has a chief like Rindo and they’ll be introduced before the expedition.

4 – Hyuse is strong and skilled. Considering he was adopted by house Ellin, vassals of House Veltiston, we can assume that those houses have some kind of strenght rank and that both of the houses may have people stronger than Hyuse.

5 – We know the triggers are Neighbor’s technology. Therefore, it’s safe to say that the strongest trigger user is a Neighbor. The strongest on Border are probably Kido and the late Yugo, followed by their kouhai Rindo and Shinoda. After them, are Amo, Jin, Kuga, Hyuse and the rank-A captains. This means that even the strongest soldiers in border sometime will have to get stronger in order to fight Neighbors.

6 – I really hope to see more types of trigger based on color. Not a rainbow of triggers, but a white or a red would be something very cool to see, to rival the black triggers. Just imagine a black trigger made of Chika’s trion! Golden Trigger!

    • Tomodachi - September 29, 2016 at 5:01 am #

      1) Anyone with a BT would be pretty damn strong. BT enhances trion levels significantly and improves most other stats of an agent.

      2) Definitely. This was proven when Viza used a sword like a pro. Organon, a sword based weapon, is also a national treasure. 100% agree that Aftokrator has swordsmen.

      3) I didn’t know about this. So now we have HQ, Tamakoma and Suzunari. So are we going to see 3 or 4 more branches?

      4) Agree. But I would also say that if at the age of 16, Hyuse is so skilled, then he is definitely some kinda child prodigy. It’s almost confirmed that House of Veltiston has stronger people because Hyrein is stronger than Hyuse :P

      5) This calls for speculation. But I think it depends on the kind of trigger too. No matter how skilled one might be, if the opponent has a BT and you’re fighting him with a normal trigger it’s almost certain that you’re gonna lose. It’s been said that Shinoda is the strongest man in Border with a normal trigger. As for snipers go, it’s confirmed that Toma is peerless. Only Hatohara is better than him. That said, Amo and Jin and Kuga with his BT are way stronger than Shinoda or Rindo (unless they have BT).

It’s been made clear time and time again that strength levels aren’t straightforward in WT. You need to consider what kind of triggers the users have. Triggers play an important role in how a fight is going to go. It has also been proven that teamwork and strategy overcomes strength. Therefore we already do have a solution to fight neighbours.

      6) I really don’t know where I stand on this lol.
