One Piece 843 Spoilers Summaries

Credits : yonkoproduction

Cracker gets blown all the way to Wholecake castle
Because of Cracker’s defeat to Luffy, state of emergency is declared and (citizens, I guess) are ordered to stay indoors.
Pound says things are getting real serious.
Pound: “The last time a top officer was defeated, Cracker’s avenging army swarmed the seas…”

Pound: “Lin-Lin, enraged, summoned a storm and sank the enemy ships in an instant, or so they say.”
Nami: “A storm!?”
Pound: “Lin-Lin can control the weather! Her left holds the thundercloud Zeus! Her right hand the sun Prometheus!”
Pound: “There is no way to stop Mom when she’s angry!”

Luffy and the others have King Baum bring them to the castle. Luffy, sleeping on top of King Baum, turns back to his normal size in an instant.
Luffy’s party heads to the castle, and before them appears the Vinsmokes’ cat cart.
Luffy jumps onto the cart, happy to see Sanji again, but Sanji kicks him down.
Sanji: “Go back where you came from, filthy pirates!”

Sanji announces that he’s a Germa prince and has no intention of going back.
Luffy isn’t convinced at all, and Yonji is about to chase him away, but Sanji stops him.
Sanji: “I’ll send him away myself…!”
One Piece 843 Trivia: The position of Luffy’s hands to perform Leo Bazooka highly resembles the Kamehameha stance from the Dragon Ball series, a manga that highly inspired Oda.

So it appears as though Takuan to Batsu no Nichijou Enmachou was scrapped from jump after only 3 chapters. There are said to be a total 20 chapters out (3 volumes) but I cont know where to find them. Not that I was really into the series but wanted to see where things might go. This manga obviously wasn’t that good if it only last 20 chapters (but I was liking Stealth Symphony and that only last 20 chapters as well…so what do I know?).

I all caught up on Berserk :3

    • Hi Shin Unit - October 25, 2016 at 2:18 am #

Good to hear. What are your thoughts on it?

      • Great General Ri Shin - October 25, 2016 at 2:51 am #

        Ok pros
-Good story telling like how Gut becomes the man that we all know.
How fuck up the world they are living in..
-great characters like Guts, Before brain dead Caska, The loli wizard and monkey boy, skull knight and Zodd.
-Really good villains like Griffith and the God hands
-the action is a plus, a true page tuner.

        Cons
-Too much shock value which I think it isn’t needed. Just like Sunken rock. You know what I mean. I hope
-Will it end before the author dies?

        • Hi Shin Unit - October 25, 2016 at 1:49 pm #

          “shock value”

By shock value, do you mean nudity? If so, I agree. But the story, the art and characters being the way they are, I can easily overlook it.

“Will it end before the author dies?”

It is a question I ask myself, time and time again. It may not end before the author dies, but it’s something I have come to terms with, as is the case with a few others.

I am glad you gave it a go and great to know you like it. I am wondering, where you annoyed when it went hiatus again considering the point the story was at?

        • Great General Ri Shin - October 25, 2016 at 4:15 pm #

          Yeah nudity, the rape scenes.

Yes I’m annoyed by how it went Hiatus for the first half of 2017..
Some people are blaming it on the anime but is the anime really the culprit?

So based on big mom pirate flag there’s 3 nature power. Fire lightning and wood/plants. There’s also 3 spirit of big mom. I think somehow there’s a relation behind it.

So this flag may have some clue what his power could be

    @ burnhotspot.

To be fair Jinbe only jumped in front of Luffy. That doesn’t necessarily require Jinbe’s speed to be comparable to Gear 2nd Luffy’s speed, because it was partially Jinbe’s anticipation that allowed him to get in front of Luffy. If he had kept up with Gear 2nd Luffy’s speed consistently then I would agree.

That being said, I can see Jinbe possibly defeating Gear 2nd Luffy with a lot of difficulty- although even then I think that it can go either way if not Gear 2nd Luffy wins more often than not- but I think that Gear 3rd Luffy would defeat Jinbe with around high difficulty at most.

Under water I agree that Jinbe would defeat Cracker. I’m referring to them matching up on land. Even if Jinbe has access to some water on land, he would still need to defeat Cracker’s Biscuit Soldiers faster than Cracker can regenerate his Biscuit Soldiers while also landing blows on Cracker. Plus, making Cracker’s Biscuit Soldiers wet doesn’t necessarily mean that he can defeat them. Luffy still had to eat them.

    • ThePiece - October 25, 2016 at 6:14 am #

I think Jimbe would have won because Cracker is at a plot disadvantage. Jimbe can use Fishman Karate, using that particular fighting style unlike luffy, Jimbe can strike Cracker while he is still inside his biscuit puppets, using the same attack he can also attack Cracker when he is hiding behind his biscuit puppet and as Cracker himself stated he simply can’t stand pain.
So, I don’t see any reason why Cracker will be able to beat Jimbe.

    • burnhotspot - October 25, 2016 at 9:35 am #

      @Leptor

There are two kinds of speed

      -movement speed
      -reaction/action speed

If you look at Zoro, we can clearly see he cannot move/run as fast as Luffy’s Gear2. We can’t say Zoro would lose to Luffy with hard difficulty just because Zoro cannot run as fast as Luffy Gear2.

Zoro cannot run as fast as Luffy’s Gear2, but his body reaction speed is incredibly fast he can counter/defend any of Luffy’s Gear2 attacks. Jinbe is like that, his body is huge but his Karate techniques allows him to move his limbs/body react very fast he’ll have no problem attacking or defending from luffy’s attacks.

So saying Jinbe will be having a hard time against Gear2 or Gear3 is totally wrong. It’s Luffy who will be having a hard time fighting against Jinbe with those Gear.

      • umm....... - October 25, 2016 at 3:35 pm #

        Totally agree to this.
I don’t see Luffy beating Jinbe with gear 2 or 3 alone unless he uses haki.
Jinbe easily blocked Luffy’s gear 2 in FI

So I’m on Chapter 241 of The Tower Of God. I’m not sure why Siu doesn’t show Anak, Androssi, Laure, Hatsu, and Rak nearly as much as some other characters. I understand if he doesn’t want to over expose the characters and make them repetitive, but it’s almost the opposite extreme. One of the main issues with The Thousand Year Blood War Arc in Bleach is that Bleach has so many amazing characters and yet mostly featured other characters. The Tower Of God should show their bad ass characters more often IMO.

That being said, The Tower Of God is an amazing series, and I’m enjoying the train storylines a lot. I’m not sure yet how I feel about Hoaqin’s character but most of everything else seems great.

  7. Leptor - October 25, 2016 at 5:02 am #

An above average chapter for Nanatsu No Taizai.

I’m curious as to why it’s being emphasized that the war with The Ten Commandments is still going on? I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that’s the case. I’m just curious to see how The Ten Commandments will match up against the protagonists when all of them have seemingly been defeated. Perhaps they get resurrected in a similar way as Lord Meliodas?

The Holy Knights scene is sort of cool. I’m not sure that Holy Knight Howzer can be justified as Captain of The Holy Knights. He’s powerful but no where near as powerful as any of The Great Holy Knights that we’ve seen so far. Although, it was cool to see him get recognition for his bravery. His honesty and bravery does reflect his upbringing well. The relaxing tone of this chapter is also nice. Even though the writing of the war was inconsistent, it always feels good to have relaxing chapters like this where the characters can just sit back and relax.

There’s some good humor in this chapter as well. Mostly related to Holy Knight Howzer.

    I give this chapter a 4/10.

Weird.. u didn’t mention the highlight of the chapter.. gowther kyupiin

  8. Leptor - October 25, 2016 at 5:03 am #

An above average chapter for Fairy Tail.

Not much happens in this chapter, but the Erza scene is somewhat emotional. It does make you think back to the beginning of the series where they had already been a group for years. At the time Erza was significantly more powerful than them so when she prevented them from acting stupid it was through force, but in this case it was Erza’s words that got them to prevent them from acting stupid.

The August vs. Crime Sorciere match up seems very interesting. August and Jellal are both very proficient Mages, especially in terms of Magical Abilities. Oracion Seis are far outmatched. So it will be interesting to see how Crime Sorciere defeats August. I wonder who might help them, though? The Gods Of Ishval were mostly off screened. Of course they might have healed by now. I think that it would be very interesting to see them get involved.

I hope that Lady Eileen isn’t suggesting that she’s Erza’s clone or that Erza’s Lady Eileen’s clone. The clone storyline in Fairy Tail is already repetitive and would be a big step down from how awesome Lady Eileen seems to be.

    I give this chapter a 4.4/10 (rounding to 4/10).

Did anybody here watched the season premiere of the walking dead?
If so how did you feel about the episode, personally for me it was meh because they kept dragging the episode which was unnecessary IMO. The only good thing was Neagan’s character, the way the character was portrayed, it was so good.
Damn, this episode completely changed the dynamics in the show, how will Rick be able to overcome such odds?

To guys that have read the the walking dead comics, were Neagan’s victim in the show same as in the comics, if not who were killed?
Was the actor playing Neagan’s character successful in portraying the Neagan from comic book?

I’m still expecting BM or her top sweet commander(s) to interrupt Luffy’s and Sanji’s fight but wouldn’t it be ironic if out of all the possible characters, Luffy would be the one Sanji finally gets a W from?

    • antarus - October 25, 2016 at 8:54 am #

it will only make some people say sht like:

zoro>doflamingo>vergo>sanji>luffy lol it won’t be pretty the power levels from there…

      • nickname - October 25, 2016 at 10:50 am #

the fight most likely won’t have a clear result or someone clearly besting the other one but something more ambigious so we’ll see everything here.

some will insist on how much stronger Luffy is for fairing that well against Sanji despite being worn down and holding back.
others will say how this fight shows that Sanji isn’t far off in terms of strength.
and last but not least we’ll have the ones pointing out how much stronger Zoro looks compared to both of them lol

        • antarus - October 25, 2016 at 10:53 am #

Luffy will get sucked into the Mirror World while Chopper and Carrot escape from it.

  16. Hakuba - October 25, 2016 at 10:00 am #

a lot of piece of puzzle right now :

_ Luffy beating Cracker (what will happen now ? )
_ Sanji must avoid luffy because of Zeff and handcuff
    _ BM + bomb treasure
    _ Brook+Pedro for Road poneglyph
_ Chopper and carrot insid the miror world
_ Ceasar in laboratory to achieve the human giantification
    _ Jinbei with sun piate
_ Luffy meeting BM for sur, what will happen ?
_ Nami with BM vivre card, what will happen ?
    _ …
    _ …
    _ ..

this arc will be very amazing !

    • ilvisionario - October 25, 2016 at 11:30 am #

…mh…Ceasar in laboratory to achieve the human giantification…

may be it has something to do in a way to have Luffy fights against Kaido at the same size….

    • Nidai Kitetsu - October 25, 2016 at 12:57 pm #

      – that’s partially why I think Luffy will get trapped in the Mirror World, the 2nd commander will go after him but won’t be able to find him.

      – bomb should go off tomorrow and I think it should be opened by someone other than Big Mom but about as important, like her husband, we haven’t heard anything about him yet but based on the Chess theme he should be an important figure, thus taking him out in the explosion should enrage Big mom.

      – Caesar has only 2 weeks to live if he can’t achieve what he himself called impossible, so he’ll be all over allying with Luffy since defeating Big Mom would save his ass too.

      – Jinbe wasn’t able to leave Big Mom by asking, instead when the fight erupts he and the Sun pirates will side with Luffy against her.

      – there’s always an initial fight between Luffy and the antagonist which he ends up losing, so before their final confrontation Luffy and Big Mom should have a short skirmish in which Luffy comes out second best.

      • Amashi - October 25, 2016 at 1:29 pm #

Yehp, I feel like Luffy will have a small clash with Big Mom, it’ll either get interrupted, or he’ll lose or something will happen to prevent the fight. Luffy will then retreat, or go away for a while and regroup with everyone, Sanji, Jimbei, Jimbei’s pirate Crew and all the allies he’ll have made throughout this arc, they will then attack Big Mom after and it’ll be some sort of Civil War I guess.

  17. antarus - October 25, 2016 at 10:43 am #

so i guess it makes more sense for the FI bomb to be used on weddding day to ruin it since if it’s used today it could ruin the relation between germa and bm and the wedding won’t take place in the the first place

still wonder if pedro is one of Kaido’s underlying.

    • antarus - October 25, 2016 at 10:58 am #

idk, the guy would have to be crazy to sell his country to the enemy. he seems loyal.

i think jack knew raizou is there because:

      1) he got raizou’s vivre card from a samurai in wano that sold his samurai mates

      2) there is a mink in kaidou’s crew that used to be on zou but left and joined kaidou’s crew

      • antarus - October 25, 2016 at 10:59 am #

I’M SUSPICIOUS ON THAT CATMINK IN HAWKINS CREW. if apoo joined kaidou’s crew, then maybe hawkings joined too, only kidd was shown defeated.

  19. Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 11:26 am #

I think Zunisha will reveal something about the origin of minks. I just cant believe that talking cats and dogs can be natural.

    • Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 11:34 am #

The same about fishman. Both minks and fishmen seem to be isolated away from humanity with some resentment. Fishmen and humans can breed which is interesting because the question is whether they share common ancestor, but perhaps Oda wont cover this.

  20. Kouhei - October 25, 2016 at 12:21 pm #

@Logic, I just finished TPN 12. Tks for the Viz link.

I suspect from Ray since the beginning, but that cliffhanger seemed a bit far-fetched for this moment. I think the cliffhanger is misleading us. Ray is the one who passed the two different informations about the ropes. But that doesn’t necessarily means that he was trying to deceive Norman and Emma. And Norman’s behaviors on this chapter made me doubt him. He asked Emma about bringing the spy by force. This means that if Norman is the spy, he can benefict from Emma’s blind trust. And accusing Ray is the best way for getting free from any distrust.

I’m inclined to think that Don and Norman are possible spies, with more chances than Ray. And that’s the beauty of this manga, I’m constantly changing my mind lol.

    • Kouhei - October 25, 2016 at 12:26 pm #

One more thing. Norman said he checked the bathroom already. No guarantees though.

  21. Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 12:24 pm #

What finished manga do you recommend? And why?

    • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 12:27 pm #

20th Century Boys because it has a fantastic story. It’s thrilling and gripping. The narrative is beautiful. Characters well written. One of the finest manga I’ve ever read.

      • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 12:38 pm #

I can’t really go into the details of what was the exact thing that I liked because I read this manga like 18 months ago. But it was a manga that I thoroughly enjoyed and I personally can’t think of a negative point regarding this manga.

      • Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 12:47 pm #

        What others?

        • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 12:57 pm #

Some of the common names you’re gonna hear are Feng Shen Ji, Assassination Classroom etc. but I won’t recommend those. They’re worth reading but not 20CB level for me. FSJ has really great art and a good ending (I liked it) but the story ain’t all that deep. Pretty good overall. Assassination Classroom was average for me. I won’t recommend them both because none of them impressed me as much.

Now there are two things regarding completed series. Are you asking for completed as in finished scanlating or completed in the native language? Because if it’s the latter I have a beauty named Yongbi. Beastly action. Among the best art I’ve seen. The comedy can get bothersome after a while as it’s extremely slapstick but the serious parts of it are incredibly fun to read. Still being scanlated.

        • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 1:01 pm #

And honestly there aren’t many completed series I’ve read. And when I mention 20th Century Boys it automatically includes all of Urasawa’s works. He’s simply genius.

So Monster, Pluto, Billy Bat etc. This goes by default lol

        • Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 1:19 pm #

Yeah im looking for a finished manga. I was considering jojos bizarre adventure buts going for almost 30 yrs and i cant be reading it forever.

Feng sheng is high quality, art, fight, plot.

Some titles are totally unmotivating, Assassination Classroom sound really a ridiculous title, when i hear im thinking assassin kids in a school or some assassin school. Title is everything.

        • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 1:33 pm #

          >i cant be reading it forever.

+1. I’ve dropped Kingdom because of this and am reluctant to pick up any new titles as such. But tbh, you read Berserk and HxH and OP. You shouldn’t have any issues lol

FSJ’s plot is high quality but there was no depth to it per se. Assassination Classroom is adored by many. Personally, it was just an average series for me. It had some good things but nothing I’d call exceptional.

Since you’re into conspiracy theories and such, I think Urasawa’s works would entertain you a lot. Especially 20th Century Boys and Billy Bat.

          >Title is everything.

Don’t judge a book by its cover man. You’re gonna miss out on certain really good series.

        • Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 1:41 pm #

Well ive recently set the bar high for picking any new manga because of great titles like Magi, why should i pick anything worse than Magi, doesnt make sense. Thats why if i pick anything ongoing it has to rival Magi seriously.

Ive already been reading OP for many years and the bastard Oda has hooked me since im only sticking to know what the fuck One Piece and the fucking void century, otherwise i wouldnt pick this still ongoing trash.

The same goes for Fairy Tail, im only sticking till the end, dont enjoying the ride.

        • Sakanade - October 25, 2016 at 1:52 pm #

One of favorite manga are sometimes not always the most popular, like Hikaru no go, i didnt like the ending since it came surprisingly and with an unfinished plot. It had everything. Humor, twists, rivalry, character development, etc.

Jojos adventure looks interesting and i would definitely pick it if this current protagonist is the last, i cant be sure the mangaka will continue it further which is why im generally not interested in long running manga, no matter how fantastic its written. Imagine what the kids that starting reading jojo think.

I dropped Kingdom right after the Duke fight, didnt find it interesting further.

          >ive recently set the bar high for picking any new manga

Yeah. Same… well that and I’ve lost most interest in starting new series too. I’m on the verge of dropping at least 50% of my current list. I haven’t picked up any new series of late either. Billy Bat has been in the pipeline for so long now, I guess I’ll read that.

Also if webtoons interest you, then maybe you can try Girls of the Wild. I personally have no idea about it but I’ve seen that it has great following. One of the “hot” mangas on mangamint. Lots of following in the Chatr00m etc. It’s currently running but approaching the end too.

P.S. C*h*a*t*r*o*o*m (without the *) is banned lol two comments under moderation

Most of the manga im following are very close to ending, 7 yrs is max i give OP or its trashed, i wont give fuck about the super mysterious treasure and unknown history, i guess it wont be surprising after 7 years.

Having a great many choices makes a person set the standard high for picking a new manga. Having experience whats percieved to be the best makes you believe there is nothing better, or the best days are over. Obviously this is false. Its the same with movies. Lots of people think hollywood has run out of ideas and simply recycling and remaking and adapting games and comic books.

lol admin is paranoid thinking other chatroooms (just add an extra o) will take over this site. I guess this is his only source of income, poor bastard.

        • Tomodachi - October 25, 2016 at 4:22 pm #

Why so negative regarding OP? You’re always way too strict when it comes to OP.

I agree there are plenty of choices. Just that my tastes have changed too and I have deliberately narrowed down my choices.

Naruto manga marked its name as one of the best ever. Its my first recommendation but I really doubt that there’s someone that doesn’t know it. Rurouni Kenshin is great too. The art, the plots and everything about that manga is great.

        Almost forgot, Death Note.

I recommend Billy Bat and Pluto. They have the same author and illustrator as 20th Century Boys (I plan to read this manga soon). I would also recommend Gamaran, Kiseijuu, Tsubasa Chronicle (both series), and xxxHolic (both series)

I had the same thought last night.

      • roronoa7 - October 25, 2016 at 1:49 pm #

it would be epic, funny and sad :P

        • LogicoftheVI - October 25, 2016 at 1:50 pm #

That would be all of those but sad for real….I cant see Sanji doing that even with this whole F you mentality he has right now. But anything is possible I guess.

        • roronoa7 - October 25, 2016 at 1:56 pm #

Yeap I agree. But this is not his biggest challenge yet. I’m sure he will face more difficult situations. For example to insult Nami if she insisted trying to learn the reason behind his actions…

    • Amashi - October 25, 2016 at 1:25 pm #

I have a feeling we’re gonna see CoC from Luffy since we haven’t seen one in a while.

        yeap i’m expecting that too..

Have any of you guys who were planning to read Billy Bat started or finished it yet?

    • Hi Shin Unit - October 25, 2016 at 1:50 pm #

I am going to start it soon. Just got a couple of things I need to catch-up with. A small review if you do not mind?

      • LogicoftheVI - October 25, 2016 at 1:55 pm #

Alright give me a minute…I am going to try and make it spoiler free as possible.

    • LogicoftheVI - October 25, 2016 at 2:55 pm #

I’d like to start of by saying that just like other Urasawa, Naoki (Story & Art)and Nagasaki, Takashi (Story) this manga is a sum of it’s parts. I don’t know which I liked better Pluto or Billy Bat as they both had such amazing themes. In Billy Bat I don’t necessarily think the characters, setting, or plot set it apart from most other stories but when you combine every aspect and look at the entire picture it’s one of the most amazing works I have read.

Plot: Starts off simple enough, aspiring comic is told he is plagiarizing a Japanese character. He believes Billy to be his own creation and goes to Japan in search of answers. What he finds upon his arrival to Japan wrapps him up in a murder mystery and sends him on a crazy quest to uncover a hidden truth.

Characters: There are so many very well layered and developed characters in this story. I don’t feel like anyone was there for no reason even the officers in the first chapter serve the purpose and play their role well. The different interactions and the way people think…the twist and turns definitely come from these great characters. Are the good guys good? Are the bad guys bad? who walks the line of shaded grey?

Setting: The world building is great even though it is set in our world the way the story moves through history and incorporates certain real world histories into it’s mystery is amazing. The story starts in the 1950’s and ends in like 2020 so be prepared to see some historical events in a very different light.

Overview: 9/10 This manga was so damn amazing. I read it weekly after 100+ chapter and though it’s much better to binge I still looked forward to every chapter. The themes that the author tackled throughout were just amazing, and the execution was remarkable. Billy Bat is a great thriller that will keep you guessing and will surprise all the way up to the ending.

  25. Sane - October 25, 2016 at 2:38 pm #

Ray was against the idea of taking all the kids with them from the get go. The more he thought about it, the more he realized it would be impossible. Thus he wanted to save his own skin.

Though i feel like this might be too obvious aswell? Perhaps we are in a twist, within another twist. And that Ray wanted to outsmart mama somehow by outsmarting the others. I dobut that do. Can’t decide now.

    • Sane - October 25, 2016 at 2:38 pm #

      doubt”

    • Vinsmoke [ ] Sanji - October 25, 2016 at 2:41 pm #

From the amount of twists we’ve had so far.. I’m now leaning towards Norman being the Spy.

      • LogicoftheVI - October 25, 2016 at 2:57 pm #

You’re the second persona I have seen tho say that….lol. Damn Norman even has a great reason for being the spy. He loves Emma and only wants to see her Survive, but then he would have to hurt her by being the traitor. So the question now becomes for us….Would Norman sacrifice the way Emma feels about him in an attempt to save her or will he try to save everyone in an attempt to make her happy?

    • LogicoftheVI - October 25, 2016 at 2:42 pm #

I was on Orojackson and someone said they believe that Norman is the traitor….the author has definitely done a great job of making us question everyone at this point…lol.

I could definitely see Ray deceiving them to deceive Isabella. THey also got a great piece of information in that Isabella and Krone aren’t working together. It’s quite possible Ray is manipulating Isabella with the information he is feeding her just as they said they would do. So may ways this could go Don does look hella suspicious.

      Great manga!!!

      • Sane - October 25, 2016 at 3:49 pm #

Yup, i haven’t felt this suspicious since 4th grade when i read Detective Conan in the library lool.
