so what about my vegapunk= sora, naval hero theory?

Remember that judge and evgapunk each have pieces of the bloodline blueprint?

i think vegapunk and judge had many fights in comics because vegapunk wanted to take judge’s piece of the blueprint so he can have the complete one

lmao, they didn’t find some codex and split it into 2 parts, they discovered DNA. there is no halves, they each learnt how to manipulate the DNA of lifeforms, they simply used it in different ways.

Jujji used it to manipulate human DNA to create clones and introduce new abilities into people.

Vegapunk used it to analyse Devil fruits and create his own as well as modify creatures thus creating Dragons.

Caesar then applied Vegapunk’s research to create his own artificial DFs.

the difference between Vegapunk, Caesar and Jujji is that Vegapunk’s practices are largely ethical above ground, whereas neither Caesar nor Jujji have any issue experimenting on people.

      • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 11:52 am #

You think Ceasar and Judge will interact?

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 11:56 am #

Both are former colleagues of Vegapunk. they might work on giantification…maybe thats what Big M got in mind…

        • Nidai Kitetsu - December 12, 2016 at 12:01 pm #

since the moment we met Reiju and Yonji I realised that Caesar’s place after this arc will be with the Vinsmoke’s. he’ll join them as their lead scientist.

thinking about it again now it makes even more sense than it did before. Jujji has very lax ethical issues, he values power over life and his near endless supply of clone soldiers means that Caesar can have all the test subjects he wants.

Germa is a country dedicated to science and war technology, just like Caesar and neither of them care about the legal issues. they’re perfect for each other.

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 12:04 pm #

What role to the plot do Vinsmokes have beyond this arc?

        • Nidai Kitetsu - December 12, 2016 at 12:07 pm #

probably the same as the Nefertari or the Riku

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 12:09 pm #

On the background? So they wont be relevant beyond WCI?

        • Nidai Kitetsu - December 12, 2016 at 12:13 pm #

largely no, I don’t seem them being important beyond this arc. they could very well make an appearance at the end of the story against the World Government.

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 12:21 pm #

I think the same. Sorting Big M and Vinsmokes by next year befor Wano arc means a tight schedule for Oda.

I dont even think anyone on a fair basis is capable of beating Big M, if ive understood the strength levels well enough. But lets see…

      • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 12:01 pm #

“the difference between Vegapunk, Caesar and Jujji is that Vegapunk’s practices are largely ethical above ground, whereas neither Caesar nor Jujji have any issue experimenting on people.” Ethical by whose standards? and how do you know Vegapunk hasn’t done any inhumane research?

        • Nidai Kitetsu - December 12, 2016 at 12:06 pm #

because he was against experimenting on children for giantification, we only know of the prisoners that he experimented on in Punk Hazard and the Pacifista who based on Kuma were all volunteers.

in fact Punk Hazard does suggest that Vegapunk is indeed good natured.

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 12:14 pm #

Yeah hes good intended as he wanted to help Karakuri citizens.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 1:30 pm #

What makes experimenting on Prisoner (against their will) ok and ethical? Kids, adults, men, or women to run experinments on people against their will is extremely unethical. Many of what our modern day scientist do is unethical yet since it’s for the sake of science we are supposed to turn a blind eye to it? I feel that is what you guys are doing with Vegapunk, he has done some unethical things I mean shit he is the WG top scientist known what we know about them should tell you about their chief scientist (speculation but using it to frame my argument from he other side). To be a scientist is to live in that grey area and embrace it for you convictions. Vegapunk may not be as bad as Judge and Caesar but to say his experiments are ethical is laughable.

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 2:10 pm #

If the Victorians didnt experiment and cut into dead bodies then they wouldnt advance modern science into what its today.

It used to be unethical since they mutilated the bodies of lower class criminals, and yet today we reap the benefits by what modern medicine can offer thanks to those contributions.

        • Sakanade - December 12, 2016 at 2:13 pm #

Galen was all the world could reference to until the unethical but important work by the Victorians.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galen

    • Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 1:30 pm #

Lol, but why are you so intent on Sora being an actual person?

The WG proves itself to be an oppressive government already to quiet dissent and monitor content disposed to its citizens?
Why can’t Sora just be another propaganda?
If a said individual did the deeds of Sora, then there is absolutely no need to put that person into a form of fable, eg. See Garp

What an amazing chapter!! 40 something pages was a great surprise as well. I admire how Murata and ONE have changed the setup for the Monster Association arc. The meeting between the swordsman was a great from a world building and character development standpoint as we got to know more about Atomic Samurai and even Bang’s personal life a little more. The introduction of the Monster Cell is also a pleasant surprise considering what I know about how the Monster Association arc will go down it makes sense to add this little detail. Saitama vs. Suiryu is going to be an interesting fight and a great lead into the real Monster Association arc. Garou vs. Watchdog Man should be incoming soon as well! Hype for OnePunch-Man is back season 2 is confirmed and Murata is putting work in right now!

      OnePunch-Man Chapter 106

  6. LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 12:18 pm #

    Tower of God 308

The revelations in this chapter were astounding. Rachel knowing what that ring means is a very interesting detail SIU added in there. It would seems that Wangnan has faced the same issue the Baam is currently plagued by not being able to protect all his companions. I love how the two characters play off each other this chapter and SIU has done a great job with that if you ask me. I know it may seem cliché that SIU is keeping Wangnan and Miseng alive but I appreciate the effort SIU puts into Rachel’s reasoning. Yeah it’s a cliché that they are keeping the hostages but that reasoning more than makes up for the cliché and could possibly foreshadow the fact that they will lose Wangnan before reaching the 43rd floor. Hoaquin’s conversation with Casano was a highlight of this chapter for me. Hoaquin knows how FUG is and actually confirmed what Wanganan said to Casano about being used. I hope this foreshadows a Casano alignment flip though I want to see him sacrifice himself rather than be vindicated of his actions. Baam sulking, then going to the Guardian to be trained on how to become a God is hype AF!!! I wonder if Baam is starting to act like other Irregulars or if this is another example of him being different from the ones who came before him? So much hype this chapter I really feel for Wangnan but it looks as though he will get some much needed growth and development this arc.

    • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 12:36 pm #

—————-“Rachel knowing what that ring means is a very interesting detail SIU added in there.” ====No, she doesn’t. Everyone knew the symbol of Jagad.
—————-“It would seems that Wangnan has faced the same issue the Baam is currently plagued by not being able to protect all his companions.” ====It was shown from the starts of season 2 tho, another protagonist who have the same characteristics as Bam.
====I don’t find any cliche. She needs 1 as a hostage, another 1 as a sacrifice.
====Agree, Bam needs to become God asap, so does Wangnan.
====Is Bam really irregular tho??? I’m kinda confused, wasn’t it Headon mis-teleporting??? Headon was meant to invite Bam, but because Rachel was near her, Headon mistakenly teleported Rachel instead.. N after that, Headon proceed to teleport Bam again, let rachel climbs the tower, all to do his scheme

      • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 12:48 pm #

“—————-“Rachel knowing what that ring means is a very interesting detail SIU added in there.” ====No, she doesn’t. Everyone knew the symbol of Jagad.” It definilty seems that there is more to that ring than just being the symbol of Zahard.

“—————-“It would seems that Wangnan has faced the same issue the Baam is currently plagued by not being able to protect all his companions.” ====It was shown from the starts of season 2 tho, another protagonist who have the same characteristics as Bam” We always knew that Wangnan was losing his companions and it was foreshadowed by Hwa Ryun but the actual depth of what Wangnan has gone through and what Baam is currently going through in regards to Yeon are very similar, Baam being an irregular has decided to become a God to change that part he doesn’t like, Wangnan doesn’t have that avenue available to him.

“====I don’t find any cliche. She needs 1 as a hostage, another 1 as a sacrifice.” It’s very cliché for the bad guys to take hostages like that but the reasoning SIU gave makes it tolerable.

“====Agree, Bam needs to become God asap, so does Wangnan” I talked about this above

“====Is Bam really irregular tho??? I’m kinda confused, wasn’t it Headon mis-teleporting??? Headon was meant to invite Bam, but because Rachel was near her, Headon mistakenly teleported Rachel instead.. N after that, Headon proceed to teleport Bam again, let rachel climbs the tower, all to do his scheme” Regulars do not come to the first floor that Rachel and Baam did. They get to that floor because they opened that door themselves. The people who Headon has chosen start on the second floor (Evankills Floor aka the Floor of Tests). The Test are really meant to weed out the irregulars (the people who bring change to the tower). Rachel went in was offered a test and passed on it. When Baam passed the test she felt he stole what was meant to be hers, she was still too scared to take the test so Headon offered her another option. This is what allowed Rachel to move to the next floor she has never had the power to move forward on her own maybe that will change here in the near future but I really wish she would die before she gets that type of development.

Even what was shown today pisses me off. How can she feel some kind of way about killing people when she did what she did to Baam?

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 1:02 pm #

“It definilty seems that there is more to that ring than just being the symbol of Zahard.”

I don’t wanna spoil but 309 is gonna blow your minds and pretty much everything you said in your TL post is gonna become wrong.

        • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 1:20 pm #

that’s what I meant, she only knows it as a symbol of jahad just like everybody else.
Pretty sure It’s a failed project of Jahad or something, u know, before creating Princess of Jahad, That Jahad create the Prince first n Kakara n Wangnan r the Princes.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 1:26 pm #

@Law of Ueki are you giving spoilers now or is this your speculation?

          @Tomodachi my TL post?

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 1:52 pm #

Persona is speculating. TL Post = Top Level post.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 2:56 pm #

@Tomodachi it’s actually a really good speculation I have not looked at it from that perspective that Persona did. I never even thought that Wangnan could be part of a failed project and this could actually be something really cool for SIU to explore.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 3:39 pm #

But that’s not what’s gonna happen in the next chapter. It’s something even more amazing. Blew my mind when I read it two weeks ago. If this chapter hyped you up the next one will be an OD of hype. Get hyped because even with high expectations the chapter will still get a 5/5.

        • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 3:43 pm #

lemme guess.. Karaka shows up to save hil lil bro?
Wangnan suddenly turns berserk n destroy hoaqin??
          Or Bam ascend to Godhood??

    • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 12:46 pm #

“I know it may seem cliché that SIU is keeping Wangnan and Miseng alive”

“it’s a cliche that they’re keeping the hostages alive”

Cliche, cliche, cliche… What’s so cliched? Hostages are like a trump card of bargaining. Their value exists only until they’re alive.

Also, Baam seeks power to protect people, not to kill. That alone makes him different from at least two of the irregulars (Enryu and Jahad). I was surprised to see comments about Baam becoming corrupted and such.

      • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 12:51 pm #

“Cliche, cliche, cliche… What’s so cliched? Hostages are like a trump card of bargaining. Their value exists only until they’re alive.” Keeping hostages and revealing your evil plans (Rachael/Yura conversation) is like the cliché bad guy formula. I am saying that SIU took this cliché and made it entertaining. I am not knocking him for it but rather praising him for his unique approach to the old cliché.

“Also, Baam seeks power to protect people, not to kill. That alone makes him different from at least two of the irregulars (Enryu and Jahad). I was surprised to see comments about Baam becoming corrupted and such.” Not that I think Baam will be corroputed, but he will need to be able to kill certain people in order to protect others. It’s not always going to be like his fight with Kaiser. Hoaquin is a different type of beast. I am pretty certain that Baam is going to be different from Luffy in that regard. I would love to see him eventually kill an enemy (but only those like Hoaquin who have no hope of being redeemed).

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm #

Revealing plans to the good guys is cliched and even retarded. A bunch of evil guys discussing the plan among themselves isn’t. That’s a plot device known as limited narration which ensures that the readers are privy to what’s going on but the characters in the series aren’t. I don’t see how that’s intolerable without Rachel’s reason.

Also about taking hostages, I honestly think that you’re nitpicking. These are broad means of story telling. There are a limited ways in which evil guys can be evil. If you’re calling taking hostages as cliched then every other thing also becomes cliched. Good guys fighting bad guys? Cliched. Characters are human? Cliched. Come on lol

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 1:24 pm #

I wasn’t nitpicking I didn’t see anything wrong with what SIU did was actually singing his praises it’s you and Persona who are nitpicking my comment instead of seeing the glowing review that it was.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 1:58 pm #

You felt that taking hostage was cliched when it’s just as cliched as some of the other common tropes that you’ve enjoyed in various other mangas. That clearly is nitpicking. You only found it tolerable because of Rachel’s reason.

          “glowing review”

Stop beating your own drum lol

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:02 pm #

I guess you feel like if someone enjoys something you can’t make critiques or it looks like they are “nitpicking” but that really wasn’t the case here. It’s something I see all too often and I really liked the reasoning behind it. The hostage situation is kind of trope-ish and cliché but leave it to SIU to give that shit a great reason instead of just doing it for the sake of doing it. Honestly this isn’t even worth arguing over anymore. I copied what I wrote on Oro and I am the only person who there rated this chapter 5/5, so no I am not tooting my own horn I am saying I really enjoyed this chapter.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 3:38 pm #

Yeah. I guess both of us have different thresholds of what we consider cliched. Frankly, if you would’ve carried the argument forward I would’ve dropped out of it because it’s too insignificant a point to rack my nerves on.

My bad. When I read “Glowing review” I thought you were praising your own review lol. And yeah this chapter gets another 5/5 from me too. It’s been maintaining this streak for almost a year now. Great chapter and since I know the spoilers I can’t comment much about this chapter without revealing a lot of info about the next chapter because that’s where the real stuff at. Basically 308 is like the calm before the storm, 309.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:49 pm #

I think I have seen some of the spoilers for 309 though I am trying to remain ignorant. This shit is just too damn good every week it’s among my most anticipated reads. Rachel needs to die and fast before SIU tries to humanize her….lol.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 3:56 pm #

“Rachel tried to be humane and pretend to have a conscience.”

          “It doesn’t affect Tomodachi…”

        • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 4:08 pm #

pretty sure it won’t affect anyone.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 4:13 pm #

“pretty sure it won’t affect anyone.”

Pretty much. It’s like Magikarp using Splash.

  7. Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 1:25 pm #

    @Caesar’s future:
^that’s a good idea + that Caesar will be under Vinsmokes’ wings in the future. Did not think of that.

However, I wonder if Vinsmokes want to take the baggage of BM and Kaido’s fury.

  8. Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 1:26 pm #

    I will repeat myself again,
‘Robin will be used as a bargaining chip for BM’

    • kingkaidou - December 12, 2016 at 1:48 pm #

so you think luffy will tell BM about one of his crewmembers is likely the ONLY one Person on this planet left to read them and BM will accept this by just getting her poneglpys translated in exchange?

IMO BM is more like my estimeed self, take Robin after that idiot tell me that and kill him so nobody besides me get´s the translation ergo nobody can become pirate king, except me. especially since the 4th rio-poneglyph´s location is still unknown so whoever get´s it need the translation afterwards again?

      I hope I missunderstood you :-)

      • Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 2:02 pm #

And…lastly, BM was shown to be more reasonable than we previously assumed.

    • Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 1:58 pm #

      Ye – ^that is a simplification.

There are several motivations behind this:
      1) Escape route/options for SH: if the situation becomes dire, which I think it will, that’s the only card Luffy can play.

      2) BM can’t get the location out of the SHs; in fact, BM would already have known about Nico Robin from the wanted posters and her reach of information, so it doesn’t help.

      3) BM can’t actually get Robin – due to the number of resistance she will face on Wano.

It is a win-win-win situation for SHs; they will have to lead BM to Robin (BM herself probably won’t go), gather additional resistance against your esteemed self, slice off the firepower of both Yonko simultaneously, escape WCI.

      • Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 2:02 pm #

Others are relying on Tea Party guests for firepower (but this remains to be seen) – hence I’m not putting any of my chip on this because it is flawed logic to force the story to fit the mold of your theory.

Tea Parties by BM have been held multiple times – I would assume these guests are loyal and non-controversial, if not, fear BM too much to put their hopes onto a recovering Luffy trapped in prison.

So, just looking at the situation objectively, what other cards can SHs play. The last chapter proves it that Oda sent these SHs to WCI for a specific purpose. As a consequence, the SHs in Wano are there for specific purposes as well.

You have to ask yourself why Robin didn’t show up in WCI, when BM has the highest count of poneglyphs.

        • Blink Blink No Mi - December 12, 2016 at 2:04 pm #

          In WCI:
          – Nami to counter weather abilities of BM
          – Brook to counter BM’s DF ability
          – Pedro because he knows the place in and out
          – Luffy(as captain) to convince a former crewmate to return

          In Wano:
          – Zoro because of samurai/swordsmen history
          – Robin?

@Kizaruu Thank you again for putting me onto Wind Breaker. This manga is so damn good and exciting every week. I love the hummingbird crew they are all amazing characters (even Mr. Nam). Making Jay write that paper was excellent an excellent way to get him where he needed to be.

I can definitely understand that sentiment that is how I feel about Dreamland and The Promised Neverland right now. I wish I could get more people I talk with to enjoy them so we could have even more great manga to discuss. I am following Reno (Dreamland author) on Facebook they are doing a lot for the Manga (manfra) in France but it doesn’t have enough acknowledgement internationally to get published outside of France right now. I am trying to spread the word and make more people informed on things Dreamland.

I actually started watching it because it’s available on Crunchyroll. I have watched the first 12 episodes plus the Future Trunk Arc. It could be better but it’s Dragon Ball so I can let some of the BS slide. I don’t know if we can ever truly get Gohan back. He was pussified by his mother and Videl…lol. Gohan was my favorite character leading up to and with the end of the Cell Games Saga but he was trashed afterwards. If he does become a badass I hope the development that leads to it is good instead of just taking him from pussy to the Z-Fighter we all knew he could be.

    • Kouhei - December 12, 2016 at 3:56 pm #

That’s funny, because Toriyama did a terrible attempt to make him the main protagonist of Boo’s arc, but 99% of the fans had rejected him. I really doubt he will be back to the frontline. And I think next weekend will bring another filler episode.

      • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 6:58 pm #

I never thought that Gohan was the main protagonist of the Buu arc. I really felt he got shitted on during the world tournament arc prior to the Buu saga.

        • Kouhei - December 12, 2016 at 7:22 pm #

Gohan was supposed to be, but after beating Cell, his popularity did not increased and people missed Goku. So he changed his mind and brought Goku back.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 7:52 pm #

@Kouhei I had heard that before I thought you were saying he made Gohan the main protagonist and it didn’t go over well…lol. Yeah, Gohan could have been the next great thing he didn’t need a huge boost after defeating cell if Toriyama could have handled it similar to how Jojo’s main protagonist changes with each new part.

    • Nidai Kitetsu - December 13, 2016 at 12:50 am #

the DBS anime is horrid trash, it makes GT look like a master piece.
I will only be reading the manga, which is really good and actually has proper structuring and thought applied to it.

also I wouldn’t be certain that this arc is even canon, I suspect that it may be filler in order for the manga to catch up.

      • burnhotspot - December 13, 2016 at 3:00 am #

        I like neither.

Anime sucks in quality and storyline.
I need to wait for eternity for Manga to come out.

        • Nidai Kitetsu - December 13, 2016 at 4:54 am #

don’t dismiss something’s quality based on it being a monthly release, that’s like saying Kingdom and AoT aren’t good because they’re monthlies.

  11. Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 2:02 pm #

Claymore manga is significantly better than the anime. Done with 16 volumes and this shit is lit as of now.

Also couldn’t help but notice how Bloody Agatha and Pica were the same in terms of their core ability. Even the defeat was so damn similar.

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 2:53 pm #

I really liked the anime up until the anime only ending (which really wasn’t that horrible). I want to read the manga so maybe I will make it more of a priority now that you are currently reading it.

      • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 3:50 pm #

The scanlation is shit quality. Try if you can find better rips elsewhere. Otherwise the manga is really good, until Vol. 16 at least :P

  12. Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 2:06 pm #

Opinions on Parasyte please. Manga, Anime, whichever.

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 2:52 pm #

Both are really good imo. The anime did a good job of modernizing the source material without taking away from what was trying to be conveyed. I like both the anime and manga. The manga is older and thought he anime modernizes some things it does a very good job of remaining faithful to the original material.

      Migi FTW!!!

A wonderful read. I fall in love the first time I read it. A must watch/read/both!

    • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 4:18 pm #

I’ll read 2 volumes and let you guys know.

    • - - December 12, 2016 at 5:19 pm #

You missed out on the hype when Sam and Panda got everyone to check it out. Sam has an amazing catalogue of “must reads”

  13. Sane - December 12, 2016 at 3:03 pm #

    Promised Neverland

Things are esculating and developing nicely.

Correct me if im wrong, if you turn 12 before your shipment, you won’t be killed? Since Ray will turn 12 before his shipment, and he didn’t seem bothered by getting shipped.

    Or did i misunderstand something?

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:08 pm #

I really don’t know how to answer this question I can only say what I know/understand.

-At 12 no matter what they leave the orphanage. IDK if they go somewhere else or get shipped to be eat.
-We know Isabella is also product as she has a number on her neck and stated at the end of chapter 3 “I will be the one to survive”
-We know that Krone used to be a child in the orphanage who got perfect scores.
-Since we know Krone is a product of the orphanage there is potential for them to move to another place where they become trainees? (speculation on my part)

Since Krone was introduced and we know Isabella is also product it has made me wonder what the boys roles are? Are they just food or do they have the potential to become something similar to a Mama the way the girls can?

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:22 pm #

@Sane The Promised Neverland chapter 19 (my initial thoughts):

DAMN!!! The stakes get higher and higher with each chapter! Ray feeding false information to Isabella was expected and I am glad we got to see it but I have to wonder if Isabella fed some false information to Ray as well or if they really have that much time before they are supposed to be shipped? Will Krone help them to escape so she can get Isabella’s Mama position?? or does she have something else up her sleeve? I love this cliffhanger there are only a few ways this can go but damn the possibilities are great! Will Krone share information on the outside world? I am so hyped I wish Jump wasn’t on break this week I need more!

      • Sane - December 12, 2016 at 4:19 pm #

        Honestly tho

I am expecting a major plot twist from isabella. I feel like we are underestimating her.

Since mama and krone are both girls it may be that girls and boys are treated differently after 12 or maybe it’s about the scores like you said.

Krone looked damn creepy as always. Im sure she wants them to escape in order to cause the monsters to fire Isabella and give her the position. But what is up with that position anyways? So many mysteries.

Yeah, these types of mangas are pretty damn hype. I got too used to battle mangas.

  14. Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 3:16 pm #

    Currently watching Gate..
    Any anime recommendation?
    Psycho Pass??
    Overlord??
    Elfen Lied??
    Steins/Gate??
**Note: 13 eps per season, I don’t wanna watch long ass anime.

    • kingkaidou - December 12, 2016 at 3:24 pm #

i saw Elfenlied ages ago, i like the story but a bit gore/nude

      • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:34 pm #

I honestly didn’t like Elfen Lied my first time through I found Nyuto be annoying as hell. I don’t even know why I watched it a second time but that is when I gained an appreciation for the series. IDK if it’s because I knew what was actually going on the second time around or what but Nyu did feel as annoying and shit really made sense. I think I was too immature a viewer my first time through to really see what Elfen Lied was trying to do. Now I really enjoy the series and it’s one of my top rated series on MAL.

        • kingkaidou - December 13, 2016 at 6:37 am #

haha yes, also the ending in manga is way ‘cooler’ i´d say than the anime version unfortunately

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 3:29 pm #

I would definitely recommend these three from your list
      -Pyscho Pass (season 22 eps)
-Elfen Lied (13 eps but great)
      -Steins;Gate (20+ episodes)

      I would also recommend
-Jojo’s Bizarre adventure (I am currently on part 3 and it’s still ongoing)
-Your Lie in April (22 eps)
      -Drifters (episode count unknown)
-Darker than Black (season 1 has 25 episodes)
      -Casshern Sins 924 eps)

      • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 3:39 pm #

lol, I was the one who recommend drifter the first time it aired tho.
N do u watch Bungou stray dogs?

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 3:43 pm #

Seconding the recommendation. Bungou Stray Dogs was really entertaining. BSD manga was among the Top 30 selling manga in 2016. Notwithstanding some annoying moments this was fun to watch.

        • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 4:08 pm #

@Law of Ukki I watched most of season 1 and wasn’t thoroughly impressed but I have heard great things about season 2.

        • Tomodachi - December 12, 2016 at 4:13 pm #

Btw Season 2 has my favourite character in it.

        • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 4:30 pm #

s2 prologue is good. s2 overall is good altho a bit cliche. which is why drifter > bsd.

      • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 3:40 pm #

Drifer got 1 season, 12 eps.

      • Law of Ueki - December 12, 2016 at 3:41 pm #

        “-Casshern Sins 924 eps)” -_-

The next nakama after jimbei will be..fisherman.

they needs some pro to fish the fish since they travel on the sea all the time.

And he will have nice interactions all the time with jimbei and try to fish him.

  18. - - December 12, 2016 at 5:25 pm #

Even though Fail Tail is ass as ever I’m still confinement Laxus will be fighting Acnologia or August as a Dragon.. Lacrima with no anti-bodies..

come to think of it that nigga from Crime Sorcier is in the same boat too, confidently for him his magic revolves around his senses so it’s unlikely he will be turning.

    Anyway,

With the announcement Tottoland arc is already past halfway and 2017 leading us to Wano, where are all the tampons who swore this would be longer than Dressrosa because “waaahh yonko fights”, “waaah reasons”, “waaah 10 more years of OP”” ?

    Yall be up bob’s v@gina.

I can’t wait til 2019 when this shit is done and Luffy probably dies, Zoro goes down as the strongest character in OP cause of the badass feats and moments Oda did not give to anyone else and Sanji still getting folded by characters like Mumen Rider and Yamcha in death battle YouTube videos.

    LOOOOOL.

With Oda’s hint at Viola and Doflamingo being fuck buddies, I wonder if we will learn Nami got her 4 inch walls ran through by Arlong..

Thank god Robin is still pure, Crocodile obviously used to be a woman.

10 things I won’t have to ask for in 2017:

    1. Pussy
    2. Asian Pussy
    3. Money
    4. A new car
    5. Badass moments shaking the foundations of OP perceptions for Zoro from Oda
    6. iPhone 8
    7. Suki’s affections
    8. Laine letting me smash when I slide in her DMs
    9. An assisted “W “for Luffy
    10. Shitty development in Fairy Tail

10 things Sanji fans HAVE to ask for in 2017:

    1. A “W”
    2. Full credits “w”
    3. Resistance to “L’s”
    4. A place in the “Monster Trio”
    5. A wedding dress
    6. A backstory for Sanji that isn’t revolving around Luffy
    7. At least 5 “W’s” to make up for the consecutive Ls
    8. A power up
    9. Pussy
    10. Hanging rope

  20. Great General Ri Shin - December 12, 2016 at 6:39 pm #

    • LogicoftheVI - December 12, 2016 at 7:54 pm #

Epic chapter and I cant wait for #500!!! Shin heading out to the battlefield with OuKi’s Glaive we have all been patiently waiting for this moment. I want to know what Ou Sen asked SHK as the scene changed to shin and the others? Based on what Ou Sen really did in the history this chapter hyping him was necessary. Sure he is a beast but what he is about to begin accomplishing needed some setup in my opinion and this was a great way to hype him for his coming feats. Shin and Sei always have great moments together and this one was just about as good as any (save for the post war ceremonies). Chapter 500 should be hyped (I have a feeling we will be seeing the Zhoa Generals) and set the tone for the arc that is about to come.

    • Great General Ri Shin - December 12, 2016 at 11:38 pm #

Can’t believe SHK said to Ousen, you can drop the plan so casually. If I was SBK, I would be shock as well because all those days wasted and the stress levels. So hopefully Haru doesn’t drop the plan..
Very curious on what Ousen requests.. It better not be to use people as bait like what he did to Heki..:rage:
So finally, Ouki’s glaive is back in action. Take your time Shin, slow but surely you will be a master of that glaive!

Hype for chapter 500, I expect we will see Zhao generals next.

    • Nidai Kitetsu - December 13, 2016 at 2:23 am #

Ousen is clearly being built up to become the first of the Great Generals.

the glaive probably marks that Shin will be made into a general after this war

the year of zoro 2017 will be about him breaking one of his swords and spirit and the rest of the supernovas stealing the spotlight. remember my prediction to credit me.

    • antarus - December 12, 2016 at 7:38 pm #

because aoro tends to replace swords only when he losses his swords

  22. Kingcutta - December 12, 2016 at 9:01 pm #

Ok so I kno I’m a lurker I been round for years…. so I pop in from time to time.. but what’s got me think it’s tht big mama n kadio are kinda taboo tht makes no sence he wants to die she can take years …if she took years why ain’t he dead yet I’m sure they had to fight atleast once…but if they haven’t what could be the reason he has not asked her to take so many years off ao he could die already. . But my prediction re was attacked by a third party who will ally with luffy

Will Fonji ever be a fodder?

Next is Wano arc and pretty much Fonji will not stand a chance against any swordsman.

    • burnhotspot - December 13, 2016 at 2:51 am #

I think he’ll be able to handle average Wano swordsmen like a champion.

He did stopped Judge spear with his legs only.

But he really needs to do something, all he did is meet crazy strong ones, get injured and left unfinished.
