The way I see it, there won’t be any one on one fight in this arc’s climax
It’s gonna be mayhem and group fights.
The only way for the strawhats aandd the germa to come out on top is via the tamatebako box

    • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 2:57 pm #

I think there will be 1v1’s, but after they leave WCI.

      Vs the Vinsmokes.

I still agree with those who think that Big Mam won’t be bested fair and square in The Whole Cake Island Arc. I can possibly see Luffy besting her if he has help such as the Fishman Island treasure and/or if he teams up with other characters, but if Luffy is already around Yonkou level, what is Oda going to do with Luffy’s character for the next several Arcs? Luffy’s going to go several Arcs with no power ups? That reasoning goes even more for Sanji and Jinbe. Even if we set aside the difference in opinions some have in their rankings of the Admirals- even if for argument’s sake we all agreed that the Admirals are more powerful than the Yonkou First Mates- would Oda go several Arcs without giving Sanji and Jinbe another power up? The idea of that seems strange to me because the characters’ level of progression in terms of power would be inconsistent. Even if someone said that Zoro will be Yonkou First Mate level in The Whole Cake Island Arc I would doubt it, but Sanji who is a league below Zoro? I don’t see how that would make much sense. If it turns out that Jinbe was training and we didn’t know about it, then it wouldn’t be too odd in his case, but I’m not sure what type of power ups Oda can give him to have him go from being weaker than Ace to being around a level above Ace.

I can see The Whole Cake Island Arc setting up match ups for The Elbaf Island Arc. Maybe the protagonists will put up good match ups but be decisively bested by the Yonkou Commanders while still putting up a good enough of a match up to escape? Maybe Oda will set up Sanji and Jinbe vs. Lady Smoothie and Lord Cracker for The Elbaf Island Arc? With Zoro matching up against Lord Katakuri?

There’s also what Oda’s Editor stated. The Whole Cake Island Arc might only be around 16 more chapters and there are many Yonkou Commanders.

But again, it’s not factual either way. The War could happen in The Whole Cake Island Arc. I don’t think that it will, but none of us know everything. Either way, I’m loving The Whole Cake Island Arc so far.

    • Leptor - March 24, 2017 at 11:19 pm #

      @ Amashi.

^That’s part of why some don’t think that the main War will be in The Whole Cake Island Arc.

The protagonists have stated multiple times that they are significantly outnumbered and outmatched. Also, the alliance for Wano Country is far greater than the current alliance for Whole Cake Island. So either The Beast Pirates would have to be significantly more powerful than The Big Mam Pirates, or the protagonists are going to best The Beast Pirates without much of a problem. Both of those things seem unlikely to me, though.

    *Repost*

To whoever asked about the power rankings of the top Yonkou Commanders, I’m thinking that Prime Rayleigh > Beckman > Lord King > Lord Katakuri => Yasopp/Marco > Lady Queen/Lucky Roo > Lady Smoothie => Lord Jack => Lord Cracker => Old Rayleigh.

Something like that. Although that assumes that King, Queen, and Jack are the top 3 Beast Commanders. We don’t yet know if the First Mate is King or if the First Mate goes by another title such as Ace.

  4. Leptor - March 24, 2017 at 11:19 pm #

    Good chapter for Black Clover.

Even though the characterization in the chapter is mixed, I love chapters like this. They’re a lot of fun, especially when they show off beautiful scenery like in this chapter. There’s some good humor in the chapter as well. I’m excited for the Festival Tournament!

    I give this chapter a 6/10.

  5. Leptor - March 24, 2017 at 11:20 pm #

Pretty good chapter for Boku No Hero Academia.

Midoriya isn’t in the same league as some main protagonists such as Luffy, Goku, and Gohan in my opinion- but chapters like this show why he’s a pretty good one and one of the better ones. His intelligence is more than respectable and yet he’s inspiring and honorable. His character has great characterization. It’s interesting to see Nighteye taking Midoriya as sort of a pupil knowing that he initially didn’t agree with All Might choosing Midoriya as the next top Hero, and it will be interesting to see Midoriya proving that he’s a great choice for the role.

    I give this chapter a 7/10.

  6. Leptor - March 24, 2017 at 11:21 pm #

The chapter is relatively short by One Piece standards, but basically everything else about the chapter is great. It’s a very fun atmosphere and aura and yet the presence of so many characters shows why the Tea Parties are intimidating. I’m excited about seeing all the new characters and the ones shown in the chapter are very interesting. There are a lot of unique characters, although I figured that would be the case given that it’s One Piece. I love Lord Katakuri, though! He has such a bad ass character design! He has insane presence. He defeated what seemed to be a relatively powerful character with a flick of a jelly bean! His Observation Haki is insane as well.

The scenery in the chapter is beautiful as well. I love the magical stairs that Perospero created! What the heck about Lady Smoothie’s drinks, though? LOL. Not only is that messed up but the names of the drinks are hilarious.

I give this chapter an 8.4/10 (rounding to 8/10).

After katakuri ability introduction it’s seems bege will never success to take down big mom without luffy help because none of peoples in firetank pirates capable to hold katakuri on the bay. I think bege will be slaugthered in 5 seconds. So my question is Why the hell Bege dare to say he want to kill luffy because it’s him that need him the most. And just by now i think Oda potrayed him as big mouth character

    • Persona - March 25, 2017 at 3:58 am #

      Not big mouth but arrogant.
But that’s how a mafia should be, so it’s actually good. He’s based on al Capone after all.

      • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 2:55 pm #

Yeah, it’s just the persona of his character. Capone knows he wouldn’t even have a plan if Luffy said no.

    Charlotte Katakuri vs Sabo (current)

    • antarus - March 25, 2017 at 7:08 am #

if sabo had draw with admiral, and based on family he should be stronger then luffy, I’m going with him.

      Sabo beats katakuri mid-high difficulty

    • asd - March 25, 2017 at 2:53 pm #

Idiots, you don’t even know Katakuri’s abilities yet.

    • umm....... - March 27, 2017 at 2:38 pm #

      It’s only a guess.
I think Sabo will beat Katakuri high-extremely high difficulty

  9. Hi Shin Unit - March 25, 2017 at 2:32 am #

I finished watching Iron Fist and it was average, at best. It is the weakest shit Marvel has dished out since the MCU started.

The characterization of Danny Rand/Iron Fist is the biggest problem with the show. He comes across a pubescent bitch! If the show wasn’t in your face about Danny having been in K’un-Lun for the past 15 years, I’d question the authenticity of the claim. I feel sorry for Finn Jones. While he did a crappy job in his portrayal of Danny, he wasn’t given much to work with.

Iron Fist should have boasted some of the best action sequences the MCU has to offer and yet the action sequences presented are in contention for being some of shittiest the MCU has to offer! How can a show focusing on a martial arts orientated hero have such lifeless fights?

The problems with the story was the time wasted on proving who Danny really was, the excessive focus placed on boardroom politics, the lack of Iron Fist mythology and the lack of detail on the Hand.

The show could easily have been one of the best things in the MCU focusing on one of the most badass Marvel character but what we end up getting is the worst thing MCU has dished out so far! 5/10.

    • Nidai Kitetsu - March 25, 2017 at 2:59 am #

agreed, he was supposed to be a martial arts master but had trouble with even basic opponents, the fighting choreography was shit, I saw an article pointing out how good it could have been based on other movies like crouching tiger hidden dragon and the story itself was terrible because it was all based on getting through plot points rather than actually telling a story.

    • Persona - March 25, 2017 at 3:55 am #

Lol, I gave it 4/10. Shitty show, a disgrace to the comic n animated adaptation.

    • ilvisionario - March 25, 2017 at 8:03 am #

Agree, iron fist is truly vapid
      “Legion” is pretty good

    • Dr Sexy - March 25, 2017 at 4:03 pm #

I gotta agree on ur review here. The fight sequences are really poor and slow paced. The actor doesn’t look anything like a martial artist which is a major turn down. Story was bad, the main villain was bad, especially after all the hype about “the hand” for like most of the episodes.

There were hints that we can have the chance of having a Daredevil or Luke Cage crossover in the future but at this point I think they should cancel this show.

I would be very surprised if Iron Fist gets a second season. Better shows have been canceled in the past, like COnstantine for e.g.

  10. asd - March 25, 2017 at 6:58 am #

Only I want to see a place or enemy with DF which makes the Strawhats go through the 7 sins?
Like Luffy would fall for gluttony, Nami for greed, Sanji for lust etc.?

    • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 2:54 pm #

Would be interesting if Oda decides to do a hell arc or something. But he might not considering he used the theme for Impel Down already.

He only came out in the beginning of the series

  12. antarus - March 25, 2017 at 7:04 am #

    You know what I’m suprised?

They still not making OP live action movie or at least some tv series.

They already started doing after much less popular mangas.

And OP long surpassed even dragon ball in popularity yet no sign or even movie yet.

It’s only a matter of time, but when do you think they will make some non animated, live OP thing?

    • Vinc3nt - March 25, 2017 at 7:23 am #

Remember the DBZ live action movie? That’s probably why.

      • antarus - March 25, 2017 at 9:29 am #

can’t they just work with film companies that are known to make good movies lol?

    • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 2:53 pm #

One Piece is the most popular manga in Japan, but it still hasn’t reached the levels of popularity that Dragonball did, and to a lesser extent even Naruto did worldwide.

I recall reading something that Oda said he wouldn’t mind a live action movie if it was done right. But you never know with Hollywood, it could turn out like that peice of shit Dragonball evolution movie.

If done right it’s possible to be good, but sometimes it’s just more difficult for a certain type of story to be translated into film format. Some stories are simply better told in the formats they were created in. This is why most movies based on anime/manga/video games are complete shit.

    @Amashi
I don’t see him defeating big mom just yet because he could not defeat a 3rd commander without receiving any help , i know some will say that cracker was a pika 2.0 because he got one shotted after coming out of his armor (not by a regular gomu no pistol) but you seem to forget that he stayed out of his armor for the most part of the fight and that the intervention of nami was really helpful and allowed luffy to transform into tankman(not a fact but it’s just what i think for now) , he was not running away like pika but as a matter of fact luffy was the one running away and cracker was chasing him, he went all out against him and stated it(before the fight).
And why would he be able to take on a yonko right now? Without even knowing awakening ? With an haki mastery this basic?
I see every yonko as being around the same level as each other just like admiral, i expect them to take days and days if they had to fight against one another. If luffy beat big mom now he would be just too overpowered no one would doubt that he could take on kaido or two admiral at the same time, their would not be any fight to look forward to because the outcome would be just too predictable that would be lame imo. I’m not saying that he need another timeskip, i think that the timeskip gave him the tool to survive in the new world and once in the nw he would learn some new technique and grow not take on a Yonko in a 1 vs 1. I want him to struggle and reach that level by the end of the serie

based on katakuri, what bounties do think the rest of yonkou commanders and yonkous have?

I think big mom has like 1,5 billions

    kaidou 2 billion

    shanks 2,2

    blackbeard 2,5

    shilliew- 1 billion

    burgess- 1 billion

    marco as captain: 1,2 billions

doflamingo- 1 billion( if he escapes)

    calamities: up to 1,2 billions

    • me - March 25, 2017 at 11:51 am #

I’m not gonna make an estimation on the Yonko until we see Big Mum’s bounty. As for the commander’s:
      Sweet Commanders:
      1. Potato Starch: 1Billion and 57Million (Confirmed)
      2. Smoothie: 932Million (Confirmed)
      3. Cracker: 857Million (Confirmed)
Note: BM relies on numbers (34 ministers) and allies
      Calamities:
      1. King: 1Billion 200Million
      2. Queen: 1Billion 100Million
      3. Jack: 1Billion (confirmed)
Note: I estimated the bounties of King and Queen seeing as in the Sweet Commanders (see above), the difference between each commander was roughly 100Million
Note: Dont overestimate the Beast Pirates. Their top 3 commanders may be stronger than Big Mum’s but 500 fodder smile users is wayyy below Big Mums 4 armies of which each has around 15 noticable fighters and her numerous allies of brokers from the underworld.
      Titan Commanders:
      1. Shilew: 1Billion 100Million
      2. Laffite: 1Billion
      3. Im not sure who the 3rd strongest is: 900Million
Note: this is their current bounties. Their Bounties will continue to increase until by the EoS they will surpass all other commanders.
      Red Hair Pirates:
      1. Ben Beckman: 1Billion 500Million
      2. Lucky Roo: 1Billion 400Million
      3. Yassop: 1Billion 300Million
Note: we havent seen any noticable allies for Shank and he is the only yonko with a small pirate crew which is why i assume each of his nakama mame up for that.
      Former Yonko Crew
      Divison Commanders:
      1. Marco: 1Billion 200Million
      2. Former 2nd division commander: 1Billion 100Million (Ace wasn’t present during Whitebeard’s rise to greatness; he was a replacement to the former 2nd division commander)
      3. Jozu: 1Billion
Note: This crew was considered the strongest not only because of its commanders. Whitebeard himself was the strongest man and had 47 pirate crew allies.

  21. antarus - March 25, 2017 at 9:49 am #

I think the fleet captain of luffy mirror the main crew.

    bartolomeo. luffy

    sai- sanji

      • antarus - March 25, 2017 at 3:01 pm #

11 since oda is football fan(soccer)

  22. Ganja - March 25, 2017 at 1:30 pm #

I will be the one to say it first big mom bounty is 9 billion, she has territory she oversees, taking her down is like taking an entire empire. Kaidou 25 billion the most blood thirsty yonkou out there. Shanks 5 billion, blackbeard 4 billion

  23. notanenglishspeaker - March 25, 2017 at 1:34 pm #

I think Red hair’s commanders will have the lowest bounty out of all yonko commander, i see bounty as a sign of threats rather than a sign of strength.
Shanks don’t seem to be the kind of yonko who would burn down cities or attack navy like kaido or big mom, i think he is the kind who would just sail around in the new world and get some fun not more than that, i expect their bounty to mostly be a sign of strength than threats:

    Ben beckman 1B ~ 900 million
    Lucky Roo: 900 ~ 800 million
    Yasopp 800 ~ 700 million

  24. GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 2:46 pm #

    @Amashi

This is why I think Big Mom Not going down.

(*NOTE* I’m too lazy to type it all, so I just copied and pasted this from various posts I’ve made on this site and others for months now. I tried to separate and number things accordingly, so excuse me if something is repeated).

    1. Re-read Chapter 847, it foreshadows literally everything I’m about to say.

    – It’s the most important chapter in this arc I think, and coincidentally(or not) it happens right in the middle of this arc around the time we were told that this arc was half done.

    – Oda titled that chapter “Luffy and Big Mom” and it first confirms her issue with giants and the truth about the Lola. It also has Luffy saying he will fight her later, and Big Mom reminding him of his promise to come fight her, and also mentions the Tamatebako bomb in the treasure Luffy gave her.

    – Luffy even foreshadows the real deal saying: “if our promise from before is gone, I’ll pick a fight with you again”. He literally stated he’s going to fight Big Mom later on.

    2. Big Mom has not been treated like an arc villain

    – She has had minimal character work and she has mostly been a background player the entire arc. The Vinsmokes, Pudding, and Capone are the one’s that got detailed histories and flashbacks. Especially the Vinsmokes, who got multiple chapters. Big Mom has basically been an overlord type of character with consistent little hints at her having a history with the giants and Elbaf.

    – Luffy always fights the main villain multiple times and gets his ass kicked. Then he comes back later in the arc and defeats them. Luffy hasn’t even met Big Mom face to face yet.

    – Oda never has Luffy beat a major opponent without the proper motivations in place. He has none of that against Big Mom right now, he just wants to save Sanji’s family and go. By now Luffy would have built up his dislike and hatred for the villain over some oppression of the people going on, so Luffy can save them by defeating the villain. Usually getting a motivational boost in battle to finish the fight too. This is even already in place for Kaido and Wano.

    3. Too much stuff, too many characters, No time

    – We’ve barely met any of Big Mom’s crew. Jinbe just stated a couple chapters ago that the Strawhats only met the tip of the iceberg and that many more powerful members would be at the wedding. Big Mom has 35 ministers, the 15 chess positions, other kids who don’t have such titles like Brulee and Pudding, allies like these underworld brokers, and extended allies who married into the family. Capone said they have no chance in an all out battle, which many of us readers have been assuming for months now.

    – Sanji has had all of this stuff set up against his family. Saving them from BM doesn’t erase his issues with them: creating clones and using them as disposables the way they do, his history getting bullied by them and then beaten to a pulp in the present time, and especially his disdain for the way they treat their servants like shit. Sanji literally won’t lay a finger on a woman and they beat that cook girl to an inch of her life. You think that’s just going to disappear from the story? Everything Sanji hates about his family will still exist after they are saved. Oda didn’t spend all that time establishing those things if he was simply going to have the Vinsmokes ally with the SH’s and just move on. That must be solved with a fight, as Judge’s own words: “men can only speak with their fist”.

    – This arc was stated to be half done when it was 25 chapters in, meaning there are only about ~14 chapters left. That is barely enough time to have “Wedding Crashers” and then deal with the Vinsmokes after. You’d need another 50 chapters to deal with Big Mom and her actual full crew and allies.

    4. Luffy Losing is a normal One Piece thing

    – It’s about time for Luffy to lose a New World arc and have to escape/survive, as he did so pre-skip many times. Luffy isn’t immune to losing an arc just because he trained with Rayleigh. There is a difference between running because your weak(pre-skip Sabaody) and running because it’s just not the right time to fight(post-fight Dressrosa).

    – Oda has stated multiple times that he doesn’t want Luffy to be the strongest before the end and how important it is for the main character to struggle towards the goal. The failure at the Tea Party will make it clear that just because Luffy is strong and has a pirate alliance doesn’t guarantee his success, especially against a Yonko.

    5. The Balance of the 4 Yonko

    – Kaido literally solo’d 3 worst gen and crews, so the suggestion that Big Mom couldn’t do the same WITH her full crew is saying that she is ridiculously weaker than Kaido. That is NOT balance. If that were the case he would have invaded her a long time ago, bitch slapped her, and taken her Road Poneglyph. They are Yonko because they are near enough in personal strength AND crew strength to maintain equal amounts of territory and influence. So it’s clear that Big Mom literally can’t be that much weaker than Kaido, same as all the Yonko, they are all fairly close in strength and crew strength.

    – Thus as Pekoms said Capone is underestimating her, I think the same goes for many fans despite Oda constantly warning us: Earlier in the arc both Chopper and Nami noted the same thing, earlier than that Pedro noted it a couple times, earlier than that Zoro and others warned way back on Zou. And just a couple chapters ago Jinbe warned it again. Oda even made a whole chapter at the start of this “4 Yonko Saga” called “Little Pirate Games” in which Kaido himself mocked the Worst Gen for thinking that taking down a Yonko is as simple as taking down a shichibukai. Oda has literally told us at every opportunity with as many characters as he can that this is going to be different and far more difficult.

    – It’s not supposed to be easy. Period. Infact defeating a Yonko is supposed to be the most difficult thing in the One Piece verse outside of defeating the WG and finding One Piece itself(which ofcourse includes dealing with the Yonko). No one can just defeat a Yonko with a rag tag group made mostly of average pirates and fodder, especially in the Yonko’s own territory. This is specifically why they are emperors of the Sea.

    6. Big Mom and Elbaf

    – Big Mom is clearly either part Giant or a Dwarf Giant who has some history with them as to why giants hated her even before her deal with Lola went sour. That marriage was supposed to repair her relationship with them. Obviously there would be no point to Oda even mentioning this if he didn’t intend to resolve it. He can’t do that unless Big Mom goes to Elbaf and we know Luffy is going eventually.

    – I believe she was born on Elbaf and there’s probably a table where the greatest warriors eat together. BM was among the strongest but she was shunned and ridiculed because of her size, and kept from eating at the “grown ups” table with the others, and this is why it’s her dream to eat at a table with people her size. Again why would Oda bring up Big Mom’s dream of eating with giants if he had no intention of using this plot point?

    – Big Mom probably left Elbaf seeking equality and once she amassed a great crew she created a country where people of all kinds are accepted. Eventually over the many years she became known as a Yonko, possibly even the first. Remember giants live much longer than humans, explaining why she looks so young despite having kids like Brulee who look older than her. And also how she could even live long enough to have 80+ kids. And ofcourse the only race who would not join her were the giants. However despite all that, it is her home and so she still longs to return. This chance finally came when the Giant Prince fell in love with Lola.

    – Ofcourse we know Lola ran and BM found another hope in having a giant crew with Ceasar. Again, Oda didn’t bring this plot point up just for kicks, he intends to use the Giant Formula. We all know this assassination plan is going to go sour(otherwise Oda wouldn’t have told us in detail). How sour, we’ll see, but I fully expect Ceasar is going to be left behind. He’ll get thrown right back in that lab and we’ll see atleast some of BM’s crew being turned into giants by the time she arrives on Elbaf.

    7. The Cake, the Bomb, and The Rage

    – A bunch of random stuff will happen in this Tea Party, it should be ridiculous and unpredictable …mostly. One obvious plant so far we already know is coming is the bomb from Fishman Island. She has been talking about opening that treasure all throughout the arc. And the other thing she has been talking about even more is eating that cake. So they probably go together.

    – Oda took the time to introduce Big Mom multiple times, each one showing her love of food and rage after. First was years ago on Fishman Island where she threatened to destroy Fishman Island because Luffy ate her candy(*more on this below). Then she was introduced singing about creating the wedding cake. Then she was shown rampaging through the town during her “hunger rage” ending with her official introduction box.

    – This comes together here as Luffy traded a treasure to stop her wrath, a treasure we know has a bomb. Just by luck(…Luffy’s) it will destroy the cake setting off BM’s food disorder rage when she realizes she won’t get to taste that cake. This opens the door for them to barely escape as she will be attacking even her own crew and Dogtooth and Smoothie will have likely have to protect everyone else from her rage.

    8. Sanji and The Vinsmokes

    – After the Tea Party Wedding is crashed and Luffy and co run, the Vinsmokes will start some shit. I’m not sure exactly how this goes down, but I think it’s likely that they have already captured Zeff and have him in the same masks and jail cell that Sanji was in.

    – This will go down on top of the sailing germa fleet. Somehow it will be decided to settle this mess with fights(just because its shonen). Afterwards Sanji’s father will raise his bounty accordingly and also promise to protect Zeff from Big Mom by bringing Zeff’s restaurant into their fleet.

    9. Fishman Island, Luffy, and Big Mom
    – Once she calms down and realizes that Luffy also took the Road Poneglyph copy, Big Mom will go after Fishman Island. Why? Remember Luffy said he would kick her ass and protect Fishman Island and Jinbe was working for her so that she would protect FI. Now Jinbe is joining of all people Luffy.

    – Remember BM only agreed to turn her wrath on Luffy(along with receiving the Tamatebako) because Luffy said he would come at her. She was waiting for him to do so, but instead Luffy shows up without his full force. Instead Luffy just wrecked her tea party and ran. Luffy will have essentially broken their promise by running meaning she will go back on that deal and destroy Fishman Island as a direct result of Luffy’s actions, thus the vision coming true.

    – Destroying FI is what Big Mom needs to put her “villain” portrayal over the top, creating the motivation to defeat her that Luffy currently lacks.

    10. Elbaf and Big Mom

    – Big Mom will have her people searching for Luffy but wont find him until he reaches Elbaf, where she has some loyal giants as spies. At this point she will be so angry she returns to Elbaf anyway despite the bad blood.

    – Only to find that they have allowed Luffy to sit at that table because he had saved Fishman Island from Noah, and the giants are the one’s who built it(Joy Boy was maybe a giant too!). All of her built up rage boils to the surface and she turns her wrath on all of Elbaf. Meanwhile Luffy finally learns of what she did to Fishman Island, fueling his own rage towards her and his desire to protect Elbaf from her.

…Everything leads to Big Mom vs Luffy on Elbaf.

      • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 4:41 pm #

Well I told him it was alot of stuff and he replied that he wanted to know my. No point in condensing it and then having to come back later and further explain, so if he was serious about wanting to know then he’ll read it.

    @Admin

I think that Boruto deserves a section here, even if the manga is monthly, with the release of the anime which I think is going to be weekly, ppl would have stuff to talk about. Even Dragon Ball Super should have a section, it’s the manga that revolutionized the manga industry.

I think that it’s been a while since anyone directed a message to you, must be feeling very lonely out here, LOL.

p.s- I think that it’s been a while since anyone directed a message to you, must be feeling very lonely out here, LOL.

Random question: How is the Boruto anime going to be weekly when the manga is monthly? I know that chapters are longer, but not 4x times as long. Are they going pace that shit slow as dirt or pack it with filler?

      • Dr Sexy - March 25, 2017 at 5:08 pm #

I think it’s going to be the same as dragon ball super. DBS has a monthly manga release and a weekly anime release atm.

        • GomoGomoNo - March 25, 2017 at 5:25 pm #

But as I understand the sitaution with DBS, the manga and anime are completely stand alone. They only get the same basic script from Akira Toriyama and each does their own interpretation, allowing the anime to do all that ridiculous extra stuff that makes no sense. It’s like watching canon-filler.

well then maybe the Boruto anime would be like 12 eps for season 1 just like OPM or MHA, but I still think it will be weekly.
