Ch. 862 Intellectual Type

Jinbe tries to wake Luffy up, but he isn’t showing any sings of waking.
Everyone cheers as A gigantic wedding cake is brought out.
As Big Mom’s children surround the Vinsmokes’ seats, Reiju prepares herself to die.
As Luffy finally wakes and heads towards the venue, the ceremony has begun.
Katakuri is bewildered as he sees the future where Pudding breaks down crying.

When Pudding shows Sanji her third eye, Sanji tells her in an air of wonder, “It’s a beautiful eye”
Pudding breaks down crying and recalls her childhood where her third eye was a source of bullying, and even Big Mom was creeped out, so she was told to hide it with her bangs. And it was due to these incidents that her personality began to become warped.

If Big Mom decides that Pudding is of no use, then she will signal Father to shoot Sanji.
Katakuri sees the future where Sanji dodges Father’s shot, so he shoots at Sanji but Sanji avoids this shot by the skin of his teeth.

At the signal of Katakuri’s shot, Luffy begins his entrance into the ceremony, and countless number of Luffy’s come flying out of the wedding cake.

End

  1. whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 1:02 pm #

for the last couple of months its all kingdom and Tog. no other manga is delivering like these two. magi , gosu, ruler of the land and black clover were above average. noblesse, OP, red storm, GoH, DICE was just average. and everything else was bad.
is the quality of the mangas really decrease? or kingdom and ToG are too much superior than the rest of the bulk?

    • Kouhei - April 17, 2017 at 2:06 pm #

I just started 2nd season of ToG. Koon is the greatest char so far. On the other hand, Baam, who should’ve be the best char, is so empty and hollow. I’m still trying to understand why ToG is so adored. I was hoping to be impressed by now, but the Room’s test is boring.

Kingdom is my favorite manga atm. Black Clover is not above the average IMO, still seems like recicled. BnHA is very good! NnT is just average. But TPN is living it’s best moment, and I’m sure it’ll be one of the best. IMO it’s already in SJ’s top 3 (1 – OP, 2 – BnHA and 3 – TPN).

One Piece is disappointing, I’m afraid the Yonko saga won’t be what we expect.

Answering your question, Kingdom is that much superior. I can’t say about ToG yet. And I think the quality of the other mangas really have decreased. The good old days of Naruto vs One Piece vs Bleach will never happen again. If only World Trigger and HxH were being released…

      • Death - April 17, 2017 at 2:39 pm #

So you read many good series too @Kouhei san. From your list, in my opinion:

        1. Kingdom
        2. The Promised Neverland
        3. One Piece
        4. Black Clover
        5. Nanatsu no Taizai

I can’t rank Hunter x Hunter (hiatus), World Trigger (hiatus), and Tower of God (I haven’t finished it yet).
Is BnHA really that good? I read the first 10 chapters, but boring, honestly it seemed childish to me.

        • Kouhei - April 17, 2017 at 2:55 pm #

This rank is about right. I think Black Clover has potential, but looks like it’s SJ’s choice only to rival Fairy Tail. The anime brings popularity, but it takes more than that to become a great manga. Anyway, I’m cheering for BC to become great.

BnHA is different than the usual. It may look childish, but it compensates with originality, good villains, proper development and coherence. When Deku starts to get control of his ability, the fights get more intense. It’s not the best manga, but IMO is better than BC, NnT and FT. Give it a try if you have the time. It helps if you don’t expect much from it.

        • Death - April 17, 2017 at 3:21 pm #

“I think Black Clover has potential, but looks like it’s SJ’s choice only to rival Fairy Tail. The anime brings popularity, but it takes more than that to become a great manga”

Agree. The battles seemed absurd to me, I can’t understand the power level and the basis of their powers, it seemed like everyone can use some spells as they wish, as you said more like Fairy Tail, no detail explanation behind the magic (unlike haki, nen, shinsu, chakra), how it can produce such mumbo wumbo elemental based abilities.

“It’s not the best manga, but IMO is better than BC, NnT and FT. Give it a try if you have the time. It helps if you don’t expect much from it”

Thanks for your review, I will certainly try to read it again later.

        • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:07 pm #

This dude Sogekun tho. When did you complete WT? You never told us your opinion about it. Also, I agree with you on Hero. Even I’ve never been able to get into it. Always used to stop after reading a volume. Now it’s on hold at Vol. 6.

“no detail explanation behind the magic (unlike haki, nen, shinsu, chakra)”

Even Trion had a good explanation.

      • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 3:08 pm #

        ahh that good old days.

        about ToG:
Please Just Keep Reading. Baam is one of the most adored protagonist. He’s cute and determined. And his goal is a reasonable one. What you’re missing is lack of interesting characters. Please wait till the tournaments ends. After that things will start to move very fast. By the time you board in hell train you won’t have to look back. and about being the best character i’ll get to the point later.

Yah Black Clover is overrated. It is trying to be a mixture of Bleach, Naruto and Fairy tail. 2 close friend come rival, a lot of strong and looking cool characters, a group of unstoppable enemy, lots of Fan services may be too much. And very short ark.

BnHA is good but not on that level. It is unique. But Deku’s a inspirational character.

OP is really dragging out. The Big Moma ark is not what we wanted. Big mom is not on par with the other yonko’s whats what is the most disappointing. And her looks is the worse. not formidable.

Now the protagonist being the best character here’s the list of some popular Mangas ever with their top 2 best character(imo):

        One Piece – Shanks, zoro
        Bleach – Urahara, Aizen, Gin
        Naruto – Itachi, Orochimaru
        Noblesse – Fanki, Rai
        Fullmetal – Edward, Mustang
        Kingdom – Ousen, Kaneki
Shingeki no Kyojin – mikasa, Erwin

U see ? Its hard to be the most popular when u being the main protagonist.

        • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:01 pm #

          No Levi in AoT?

        • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 4:05 pm #

          @Tomodachi srry forgot his name.

      • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:04 pm #

Khun MVP forever. It’s probably because he’s calm and doesn’t behave like a retard most of the times. Black Clover is shit as always. To me it’s like OP to Dr. Sexy. OP was disappointing earlier but now the arc is getting much better.

    • Death - April 17, 2017 at 2:49 pm #

I recall that you read Alice in Borderland @yama san. This series got a new sequel.

      • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 3:15 pm #

really? I love this manga. It was a good ending.

So can u give me the name of the sequel?

        • Death - April 17, 2017 at 3:32 pm #

Agree. The ending was really good. I never thought that it could be the case. This series is masterpiece to me, I learned many things about life from this series, full of philosophical values.

The new sequel is Alice in Border Road (Imawa no Michi no Alice). Enjoy it. :-)

    • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm #

Both. That’s the answer. ToG and Kingdom are superior and the rest of the series are also shit.

  2. whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 1:09 pm #

ousen is trying to overflow Gyou. but why? its not that they have unlimited supply. and they will make gyou starved to death. so why? is he taking kaneki/Trojan horse approach? by sneaking his solider in the mix of the crowds?

          Tks man!

    • Kouhei - April 17, 2017 at 5:04 pm #

That’s what Ousen is trying to do. He is probably thinking that this war will endure for more than a month. If every citizen from Zhao goes to Gyou, Ousen will gather their supplies and more than that, he can gather the source of their supplies around their towns, like farms and stuff. Depending on how much people they send to Gyou, Riboku will have a big trouble to sustain his army.

I like the trojan horse idea. This is something suitable for Kanki’s unit with their unorthodox ways. Ousen can put some soldiers among the civilians. And another thing, the moral of Ousen will affect the civilians, it’s already affecting. I mean, if Riboku rejects the citizens, they can easily switch sides.

I wonder what Riboku will do about it.

    865 predictions:

bomb explodes eliminating big portion of bm’s army and rest are weakened

mirro world sh alliance talk with vinsmokes to ally and strike bm again.

mont dor is ko so all book beasts escape. and invade the palace. vinsmokes contact their ship with a mirror.

germa nation attacks cake island. luffy and capone make plan to beat bm in combat.

the Underworld brokers allied with shs, after capone helped them escape.

round 2: they exit and fight starts again, this time:
shs, capone pirates, germa nation, Underworld brokers, book beasts vs what’s left of bm pirates. pudding contacts them and is on their side.

  4. Death - April 17, 2017 at 3:04 pm #

I thought The Promised Neverland would end in less than 50 chapters due to its premise. But recently we learned about the outside world, the foundation, and the future mission to save the younger kids. Well, many things to be covered, pretty sure it will be long.

    • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:10 pm #

The authors usually have the first arc in their mind so it comes out pretty good. But will he be able to sustain it for extended periods of time? I heard that he’s finalised the entire story just like Ashihara. Hoping it’ll be just as good even in the future.

  5. whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 3:33 pm #

The best Manga/Manhwa if read so far:

    1. Kingdom
    2. Berserk
    3. TOG
    4. Magi
    5. Drifters
    6. Lier Games
    7. OP
    8. Ruler of the Land
    9. Vagabond
    10. One Punch Man
    11. Noblesse
    12. Terra Formers
    13. Gosu
    14. Magi – Sinbad no Bouken
    15. The God OF High School

    • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:11 pm #

Noblesse higher than Gosu? Also don’t you like Yongbi? It has some insane hype. GOH was a fucking waste of time for me. Since a close friend recommended it, I had to read like 200 chapters before telling him that it was shit.

      • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 4:21 pm #

well gosu has a lot of potential. its still a baby. We have yet to seen the most powerful on the current verse. Thats why I ranked it lower than Noblesse.

Yah I’ve read Youngbi. Its too short imo. And the premise was not in depth like Gosu.

        I just love Jin Mori.

Oh god where’s Red Storm? Damn It should be over OP.

        • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 4:22 pm #

Damn I forgot abot gantz too.

        • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:34 pm #

If you’ve read both Yongbi and Gosu then you know that Ryong is one of the strongest persons in that series.

        • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 4:37 pm #

Thing is Yongbi is already completed and had an amazing build up but the author decided to end the series after finishing just one of those storylines. I’m hoping he shows us the grand war between the Murim Alliance and Demonic Sect in Gosu. After all we were shown just two prelates out of the thirteen.

        • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 4:40 pm #

man gosu is amazing. Ryong is awesome. and it would be fun to see Ryong making his own heavenly sector.

BC, Stone and FT are shit imo. How’s BokuBen? I’ve been wanting to read that. It’s going to survive the first wave of cancellation. What do those asterisks mean? Also I’m guessing that many of those series are very, VERY similar to Sweet Guy :p

How were 666 Satan, Shaman King and Deadman Wonderland?

      • whatever you say yama is the strongest !!! - April 17, 2017 at 5:21 pm #

        Deadman wonderland is great.

        • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 5:31 pm #

Have to give it a try. Even Persona and Logic told me that it’s pretty good. Been pending for a long time.

        • Persona - April 18, 2017 at 12:40 am #

Eh? Me? I only watched the anime (deadman wonderland) n never read the manga..

        • Tomodachi - April 18, 2017 at 5:06 am #

But you definitely gave some input. That’s the point.

        • Death - April 18, 2017 at 6:17 am #

And there are also the series that I watched its anime only (not reading the manga), like Death Note, Death Parade, Fate/stay Night, Golden Time, Mangaka to Assistant, Nisekoi, Noragami, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, and many more (I can’t remember it :-D), so I did’t put them in that list (manga list).

      • Death - April 18, 2017 at 6:00 am #

        @Tomodachi

My own review (possibly not objective):

Bokutachi wa Benkyou go Dekinai is good. A slice of life series. It is about man that tasked to privately teach two talented girls (one is good at science and one is good at literature). The conflict rises as the girls prepare to enter the college, they don’t realise their talents, and adamantly want to take the majors that totally contradict to their talents. If you like Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Mangaka to Assistant, and Golden Time, then you would definitely like this one.
        Art (7/10)
        Character (6/10)
        Plot (7/10)

Deadman Wonderland is really good. It is about a boy who is sentenced to death. Later the boy is taken to the prison, and a lethal poison is constantly injected to his bloodstream. To neutralise the poison, the boy and other prisoners have to consume the candies, the candies can be obtained by participating deadly games that held by the prison. If you like Death Parade, Prison School, and Imawa no Kuni no Alice you would definitely like this one.
        Art (8/10)
        Battles (7/10)
        Character (8/10)
        Plot (8/10)

666 Satan is good. It is an adventure series. Angels Government and Demons Government fighting to revive their bases called Kaballah (there are 2 Kaballah, Positive and Reserve). To revive the Kaballahs they have to gather 10 strongest Angels (for Angel Government) and 10 strongest Demons (for Demons Government) that can use the O-Parts. O-Parts are the ancient relics that grant the users a fantastic power. If you like Rave Master, MÄR, and City Hunter, then you would definitely like this one.
        Art (6/10)
        Characters (7/10)
        Battles (8/10)
        Plot (8/10)

Shaman King is really good. It is survival series. It is about a shaman tournament that held every 500 year, where the winner will be crowned as the Shaman King. Every shaman has a guardian spirit, they can summon and merge themselves with their guardian spirits. If you like Mirai Nikki, Fate/stay Night, and Bleach then you would definitely like this one.
        Art (7/10)
        Character (8/10)
        Battle (8/10)
        Plot (8/10)

another manga has a great potential if it leaves up to its LN. and its name is The moonlight Sculpture. Its has already 49 volumes of LN. And the manhwa hasn’t completed 3 volumes of LN yet. just 92 chapter has been released yet :)

      • Tomodachi - April 17, 2017 at 5:38 pm #

I think it’s to cause a chaos and a law and order problem in Gyou so that the troops will be forced to attend to that situation. When it gets beyond a certain point, Ousen will make his move.

        • Tomodachi - April 18, 2017 at 4:11 pm #

Idk. There’s a reason Ousen specifically focused on the number of cities surrounding Gyou.

      • Kouhei - April 17, 2017 at 7:05 pm #

        Repost

      • Death - April 18, 2017 at 7:02 am #

What Ousen is trying to do reminds me of General Han’s strategy from Genso Suikoden II (when he sent Highland citizens to Greenhill). Ousen is basically trying to make a chaos in Gyou, the town will be overloaded by immigrants, thus producing homeless, jobless, starvation, and finally riots. When the riots spark, it will distract Riboku’s men attention.

    • Savage - April 18, 2017 at 4:06 am #

Ousen saw that there was no way around that Riboku’s trap, there’re only 2 real options.. either retreat and waste this chance and all that went through to make it happen, or march into an all out war that you’ll most likely lose. He choose the second, but rather than just blindly running into battle and accepting to get choked out to death, he decided to choke back.. he’s trying to starve Zhao by causing a refugee crisis, all while slightly benefiting from the cities they capture.

I doubt zoro will 1 vs 1 the shogun but he might 2 vs 1 the shogun’s secretary with tashigi to help him. as for sanji I’m pretty sure oda will pull some shit like having him team up with jimbei again or maybe his own family, or just have him fight bobbins who suddenly reappears

        • antarus - April 18, 2017 at 10:11 am #

tashigi is on vegapunk island lol, not wano.

the 3 samurais (kinemon, White hair kanjuro, raizou) have the mission to kill the shogun. the ywill help zoro

but still feels like 4 characters team up on 1 feels like shogun would be some kind of yonkoulol

so zoro could end up beating the calmity whyle raizou, kanjuro, kinemon beat shogun

    • antarus - April 18, 2017 at 7:02 am #

this arc is the last big battle sanji will get before the bb pirates.

so if he doesn’t beat big name now….he will have to wait for raftel

in wano he will be pushed away, just like jimbei. so the supernovas can shine.

    • Leptor - April 18, 2017 at 5:30 am #

Well I think that The Totland Arc will have somewhat of a preview of the War with The Big Mam Pirates where I think the main War will be in The Elbaf Island Arc. In which case Sanji might match up against Lord Katakuri with Lord Katakuri having the upper hand. Same with Jinbe vs. Lady Smoothie. If the War happens in The Totland Arc, though, I think that either Sanji and Jinbe will team up while The Vinsmokes team up against the other top Yonkou Commander or that Sanji will team up with the other Vinsmokes in a Power Rangers type of match up while Jinbe and other characters team up against the other top Yonkou Commander.

I have no idea who would match up against the other powerful Yonkou Commanders and Allies though. The next most powerful protagonists there are characters around Pedro’s level of power, but there are a lot of Yonkou Commanders and Allies more powerful than Pedro.

Lord August and Lord Rakheid vs. Lord Monspiet and Demon Lord Gowther- Lord Monspiet and Demon Lord Gowther win with relative ease in my opinion. Nanatsu No Taizai’s Universe seems significantly more powerful than Fairy Tail’s. Just a casual slash from Lord Meliodas when he’s no where near even 10% of his power is capable of easily destroying an entire forest. Lord Meliodas using 10% of his power could likely replicate some of Fairy Tail’s best feats so far such as Island destroying techniques and Universe One.

    • Death - April 18, 2017 at 7:16 am #

“Nanatsu No Taizai’s Universe seems significantly more powerful than Fairy Tail’s. Just a casual slash from Lord Meliodas when he’s no where near even 10% of his power is capable of easily destroying an entire forest”

To be exact, “full of bullshits than Fairy Tail’s”. X-D

But yeah, I agree with the result. The 10 commandements’ feats are better than The 12 Spriggans’.

    • Tomodachi - April 18, 2017 at 4:13 pm #

Beyond Power Levels there’s something called hax. Rakheid’s power falls under that category. So if we were to have a no bullshit match, Monspiet and Gowther would succumb to his Pleasure+Sleep+Hunger magic while August finishes them off. Meliodas might be able to destroy a forest while Rakheid’s pleasure might not, but in a fight against each other Meliodas will become helpless against them.

Great chapter for The Tower Of God.

The Hockney stuff is interesting. I figured that his character was connected to Lord Joe’s character in some way but I wasn’t sure what exactly. The best part of the chapter though is the Urek Mazino scenes. As bad ass as Lord Karaka is Uzek Marino is even more bad ass. To think that Urek Mazino is that much more powerful than White and Lord Karaka is insane. It makes me wonder how his character compares to the characters ranked above him. I figured that there might be a somewhat significant gap in power between them and Urek Mazino but his character might not be that much weaker than them after seeing this chapter. If so then that’s insane.

I give this chapter an 8.4/10 (rounding to 8/10).

    • Tomodachi - April 18, 2017 at 4:14 pm #

Urek is the strongest active member. I think Enryu is quite a bit stronger than him while Jahad is close in strength. Comparing Phantaminium is an overkill because he’s an Axis.

    @Tomodachi

Ah, I forgot to tell you about it. Because of the hiatus.

Well, since this is your favourite series, I will make a detail review about it.

The last impression of World Trigger is “great”. The impression that I didn’t get when I was at the first early chapters of this series, but many suggested it, I gave it a try, and finally understand why you and many dudes from the community like this series. It also led me to believe that you might be a methodical (considering that you like this series so much), because every aspects of this series is structured and well organised.

I divide it into 4 aspects: “Art”, “Battle”, “Character”, and “Plot”.

    Art.
The art is simple. I wouldn’t say it is bad, but probably just doesn’t suit my taste, albeit I still like the chibi style of it, it gives an adorable feeling and soft atmosphere while reading a battle manga.
    Score: 7/10

    Character.
The characters are likeable. The author did a good work in presenting the massive amount of characters with such precision and balance. The best thing is that this series doesn’t blow up the protagonist with a bow-wow-kerpow style like many Shounen series do. Osamu came as a weak protagonist, making many mistakes in the process, struggling to improve his ability in realistic ways (typically a real life protagonist). The development of the characters is also well done with a fair screening portion, which allows the characters to show their characteristic, thoughts, and actions in a well staging or on going process, so the reader (I myself personally) can see and feel the flow of their progression. And… I like reading the detail information of the characters.
    Score: 8/10

    Battle.
The battles are great. It is the heroin of this series, I don’t have to explain the elaborate that part right. The trion is a unique battle system (more like runes if you ever played the GS series). The trion may look simple, but the way the author implements it in battles is totally great. It relates to the condition of characters, situations and environments they face in, “what is this character strength points”, “what is this character weakness points”, “how is the situation”, “which one will they use”, all of those thoughts popped out as a form of (my) excitement. Every little bit of it factors and perfectly blended to weave exciting strategical battles. Well, strategy is the pillars of its battles, no aspull there, there is always a logical conditions behind the result of the battles, which in my opinion is an important point (the factor why this series is respectable), especially for a battle series.
    Score: 9/10

    Plot
The plot is complex. And as I described earlier, “structured and very well organised”. I really like how the author divide the stages, forming a beauty flow of plot. The early days about Mikado City (along with Border and Neighbor things). Yuma’s real identity revelation, and the assassination mission on him. The battles in BOE day. The Afrokrator Invasion to Mikado City. And the after invasion Rank Battles (The “B-Rank Rank Battles Arc” is my favourite). That… the plot has the potential to present lots of amazing arcs in the future. And the best thing is that there is no bullshit behind the plot, it seemed logical and realistic.
    Score: 8/10.

    Personal.
This series brought me back to my childhood times. Those days when I enjoyed my early games in PS one. World Trigger gave me the same excitement like Final Fantasy VIII (my favourite FF series ever) in many aspects. The squads, battles, ranks organizations, seeds, arsenals, guardian forces, strategies, wars, invasions, otherworlds, etc.

Lastly… This series is great. It is a intelligence type read. I put it in the same league with popular series like Kingdom and Liar Game. I gladly recommend this series for they who really like battle series with strategy as its base.

    • Tomodachi - April 18, 2017 at 4:19 pm #

So another person says World Trigger is great. Nice.

It is precisely the reasons that you stated which make me like this series. An organised and structured plot. Logical battles. Simple and realistic characters. Creates a premise and sticks to it religiously.

With Sanji (SHs 3rd in command)most likely being set up to fight Katakuri who currently appears to be BMs top soldier/ first mate/ 2nd in command, and Zoro likely fighting Kaidos strongest allie/ Ace/ 2nd in comand, does this hint at the fact that there may be a standard with Yonko crews to have a top ally with which exists outside of and separate from said Yonkos crew but with said top ally ranking below the power level of the yonko but also being the closest to that level, with them also being stronger than that Yonkos “first mate”/ “monster trio”. Some examples include:
    BB> ***AOKIJI***> BB monster trio (Shiryuu/ Lafitte?/ Burgess?)
Shanks> ***MIHAWK***> Shanks monster trio (Benn Beckman/ Lucky Roo?/ Yasopp?)
    Kaido> ***SHOGUN***> Kaido monster trio (King/Queen/Jack)
Even DD’s crew followed this structure, and the Sh’s and PreTS marines seem to as well
    DD> ***VERGO***> DD monster trio (Pica/ Trebol/ Diamanté)
    Luffy> ***LAW?/MARCO?***> SH monster trio (Zoro/ Sanji/ Jinmbie)
    Sengoku> ***GARP***> Admiral monster trio (Aikinu/Aokiji/ Kizaru)
If all the crews just mentioned structures pan out the way they so far appear to be structured this would leave in the current Yonko incarnation only Bigmoms powerful top ally M.I.A., do you guys think she has one? And if so do you think we will see them involved in the fighting this arc? Could it be Father and/ or the current King? Or perhaps this powerful allie could be in another strategically important location or on a significant mission for BM, after all there would be no need for BM to call in all her forces/ Allies for a mere tea party.
If this structure does turn out to be true, would it have also been the case in previous Yonko structures? During the marinefird war we did not appear to see any WB allies stronger than Marco, however much is still largely a mystery regarding the structure of WBs crew seeing as how none of his crew members appears to be anywhere near the same age as WB and there for its very doubtful that very many if any of the crew members shown during the war were also around during the time of Roger, implying that WB in fact at some point had an entirely different crew of whoms fate and current whereabouts remain unkown ( if they where still alive why wouldn’t they help WB during the war?). And what about Roger the PK himself? Surely if he is as much like Luffy as he is said to be then he too should have had what Mihawk called “the most dangerous ability of all” ( the ability to seemingly turn all he meets into alies), so surely Roger had powerful Allies, could Roger have had an allie stronger even than Rayleigh? Perhaps Odin himself could have filled this role as it has yet to be confirmed if he was a full crew member, not has his level of strength been established, other than he was somehow captured/ possibly defeated by Kaido and the Shogun. 2 characters either of which that could give even a PK level character in old age a defeat, let alone that it was implied that perhaps it was a 2 on 1 fight, wether it was 1 or both Odom in old age put up a good enough fight against them for Kinemon and the others to successfully escape, a feet that at least leaves the possibility of Odin once being the worlds greatest
    swordsman.

Why are you people so blind ? Why can’t you see the obvious infront of you ? Why do people keep assuming Big Mom will attack/destroy Fishman Island ? Fishman Island isn’t so unimportant to the story to be destroyed over a yonko’s mood swings. I am not sure of Big Mom’s fate, and when/where she will go down. But she sure as hell won’t be the one destroying the Island.

It will be Luffy. It’s just as Madam Shirley said, Luffy will be the one. Why ? It’s got something to do with the Void Century and Joy Boy. Luffy will find out something about the Void Century, most probably at raftel, that will prompt him to destory FI. Keep in mind, when Luffy sets his mind to something, no matter how unreasonable it may be to others, as long as he thinks its the right thing to do, he will do it. Example, when luffy attacked zoro at whiskey peak assuming that he killed the ‘kind’ people who fed them. He chose strangers over his own nakama cz he thought it was the right thing to do. Anyways, there are plenty other examples, but you get the point how Luffy is.

It might seem ironic that Luffy who took the responsibility of protecting the Island be the one ending up destroying it. But we all know Luffy. He does what he thinks is right. But he won’t be destroying it to harm the people, he will do it for the benefit of the FI people. The reason, am not sure myself either.

I stopped posting here years ago. I visit time to time. But it’s frustrating looking at you people jumping to silly assumptions.

Perhaps you should visit this site more often, and enlighten our minds.

So much confidence in predictions and assumptions is a very wrong way to approach master Oda’s story.

      • Uchiha Itachi - April 18, 2017 at 8:55 am #

Sometimes things are too obvious to be assumptions/predictions. That’s why I stopped visiting this site. Hopelessness everywhere. This site is full of either delusional trolls like that Sasuke Obsessed freak (who could play sakura in real life btw), or arrogant pricks like Nidai. I only visit it for the spoilers now tbh.

Anyways. Why the f*ck would Big Mom attack FI when Luffy is the one who gave her the treasure. She knws Luffy gave it to her, so she’s gona assume Luffy modified the box. Also like I said, Fishman Island is too imporant to be destroyed because Big Mom was bit*hing about the Box.

Besides, am not running on any assumptions here. The answer is there in the manga itself. Shirley’s predictions were never wrong. She said Luffy will destroy the Island. NOT Big Mom.

        • Oda on Hiatus - April 18, 2017 at 9:16 am #

I understand what you’ve said but Oda has a way to make surprises at everyturn and the whole One Piece Universe is sooo big that anything could happen … that was my point. You have good points also, but for we these are all preditctions and none is right or wrong. Only time will tell

        • Uchiha Itachi - April 18, 2017 at 9:20 am #

You’re correct too. Oda has a quality of being unpredictable. But he has rarely gone against things stated in the manga. He’s not Kishi/Kubo/Mashima. But there’s one thing I guess we can both agree on; Only Time will tell.

It should’ve stayed that way. We were all better off.
