Ichigo confronts Yammi! All of a sudden, in front of the whirling sand is…!?
In the air Ichigo has a surprised face.
Ichigo falls.
Ichigo: “Ouch…what was that explosion and vibration? I can’t see down there at all…Eh..
Byakuya, Kenpachi…”
Yammi punches the ground.
Ichigo: “He’s getting up again..!”
Byakuya: “Withdraw, Kurosaki Ichigo”
Ichigo: “Eh…?”
Kenpachi: “Yeah…It’s embarrassing going everywhere and getting your ass kicked…
Scum like you should step aside.”
Ichigo pales. “Huh…?”
Kenpachi swings his sword at Ichigo, but Ichigo avoids it.
Ichigo: “Wh-wh-what are you doing!! That was serious!! That’s dangerous!! Are you trying to kill me!!”
Kenpachi: “That’s right. Fool should die.”
Kenpachi charges toward Ichigo.
Ichigo: “Wait…Wait Kenpachi!! There’s no time for anything like that…”
Kenpachi stops Yammi’s punch with his body,
but he’s blown away.
Ichigo: “Kenpachi!!”
Blood is squirting out of Yammi’s leg. “Owww….
That hurt…..that ******* hurt…I won’t forgive you…I won’t forgive you…”
How dare you cut off my ******* leg!! I’ll slaughter you, you damn insect!!
From behind Yammi a rock comes flying.
He destroys it with the back of his hand.
Kenpachi: “What the hell? Is that all you can do for a punch?”
Kenpachi gets up: “Because that itches. I thought it was a big fly.
If you’re going to strike then use your full strength, you caterpillar.”
Yammi: “…What the hell do you mean…you’re the little fly!!”
Yammi punches.
Ichigo: “Kenpachi…!”
Byakuya stops him: “…I told you to withdraw, Kurosaki Ichigo.”
Ichigo: “Bya…”
Byakuya: “Your work isn’t here. It’s better if you hurry and leave for the real world.”
Ichigo: “Go to the real world? But I have to defeat that guy first!! And besides, I can’t just go like that!
Urahara-san hasn’t opened up the gate from the real world…”
Mayuri, with a wagon: “Dear me, going on about Urahara?”
Ichigo: “Kurotsuchi…Mayuri…”
Mayuri: “Addressing me without an honorific, and a half shinigami no less…Oh well,
I guess it’s fine if you treat me like those two and leave off my first name.”
Byakuya: “You’re being lenient. Is it because of that wagon?”
Mayuri: “That is correct. I’m currently in an excellent mood. I’ve gotten my hands on valuable war spoils,
and furthermore, at the location where I obtained it I was also able to analyze the workings of the garganta.
Ichigo: “Analyze…? The garganta?”

Bleach 380 Trivia : Byakuya Zanpakutō, Senbonzakura, was voted the 5th most popular Zanpakutō in a Bleach poll. Senbonzakura is the one of two known Zanpakutō with a Bankai that has a release command, with the other being Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s Ashisogi Jizō.
It is interresting but so far every arrancar was weak against kidou.

Interesting analysis Dark Hollow. That would make the two captains look weaker than Ichigo. But then again, I think they’re on the rush now and want to go back to Karakura town asap. Perhaps, a vasto lorde will appear to help Yammi. I mean really, we’re running out of bad guys you know.
Hopefully they show up in karakura town when ichigo and the rest get back.
why is it stupid when it took essentially 3 captains to take out the primera. apparently, at his current state, he is stronger than the top three espada. Ichigo and Co. are going to have a tough fight … until Ichigo is granted more power and owns Yammi.

how can you say love or rose don’t count as captains. if anything with their hollow powers they are stronger than your average captains. the point of stark beating both of them and shunsui beating stark is to show that stark is well above most of the captains and shunsui, himself, is not your average captain. since it is mention that he and the sick guy are one of the strongest captains of all time. i think it’s just to prove that point since most of the espada having been anything special and we never get to see shunsui, the sick guy, or the healing girl fight and they are suppose to be the top three captains, not including yamamoto.
Erm, it was Kenpachi that sliced off his leg, not Byakuya’s kido-attack. (you can see Kenpachi standing by the leg that is getting cut off while still attached after the Kido…)

I don’t get it. Ichigo won both Captain, in the third arc. Now Ichigo could barely scratch Yammy, While Kenpachi simply chopped his leg.
On the other side, Yammy seems to have just pure attack and defense style guy. No dirty tricks. I mean if his leg can be chopped like that, then it’s over. Yeah, I’m quite sure he will regenerate it, but just keep chopping, and they will win.
I guessed previously that Ichigo can’t control the newly awakened force of his hollow-part, so he will have to regain control again. Now it seems I was right. x-]
Just came into my mind, that Unohana didn’t ever casted any Kidou spells. But if she is really that strong, then I think her strength lies in that. I would gladly see a lvl99 binding spell without incantation casted by her. :)
I recall reading somewhere that Unohana’s hobby is Kendo. Also her battledata from the Characterbooks is saying her offensive is 100, kido at 100 aswell.

yeah. also to be the 4th captain, which majors in healing, kidou is used very much in this healing. So with out a doubt, she is a kidou expert.
I think he couldn’t cut the neck because it is tough than the limbs naturally a strong person would buff their vitals even with regeneration powers

Well… Yammy-s leg chopped. Sucks. But wait. What if every chopped part of yammy blows up, while he just simply grows it again? That would be mean, and would change the power balance – which is now quite shitty for yammy. Looking that he is now the zero espada, this is quite a shame.

1) kenpachi will never learn his swords name stop talking about it.
2) starkk was ok but i dont understand why everyone is all over his balls. He’s dead, 1 captain beat him easily, thats it.
3) I agree with most of you here that 2 captains (especially those 2) fighting yammy is silly and stupid.
4) With the above comment said, (and the fact that you guys have all read bleach until now) you guys should all know that there are no double or triple teams when it comes to the “good guys” fighting the “bad guys”. It always comes down to a 1 on 1 fight.

That the first fight wont continue and the second one was a big portion of whoop-ass for Love and Rojuro is another story, but they did team up.

Kenpachi(“good guy” )vs Tousen & Komamura(“bad guys”): In this fight kenpachi was the good guy and he won. FIrst off the good guy did not double the bad guys. Secondly he actually fought them seperately. Beat one then the other.
Love Aikawa & Rōjūrō vs Starrk: came down to a 1 v 1 fight. Love and rojuro got beat. Enter in… (ummm) yeah that captain.
Soifon & Hachi vs Baraggan: Prob the closest one to being a double team. I could say that in the end it was hachi vs barragan and hachi beat him. Maybe i am stretching?

your right and there are quite a few other cases like with the 8th espada it ended up that in the end 5 people fought while there was a 1v1 ending the bulk of the battle was uryuu and renji fighting him

– muramasa it sick.. kenpachi’s sword is damaged.
-muramasa is blood lust and wants to free from the master..

Stark vs Love vs Rose is not one to one, they were ganging up Stark with the mask attached. Look closely the chapter when Stark was sending down the wolves.
In addition to the mentioned above, Kyoraku + Ukitake vs. Yama, Hitsugaya + Hiyori + Lisa vs. Halibel (nothing implies that they were doing one on one), Renji+Ishida vs Espada 7, etc.
I don’t understand why ppl think 2 captains fighting Yammy is stupid. I think it makes the plot interesting, at least much better than just Ichigo finishing off Yammy. Even though there are two captains fighting Yammy that doesn’t mean they’re weaker or stronger than Ichigo. Ichigo is having problem with his mask.
Well since we are naming calling you must be pretty damn stupid. Clearly i state that (ill use caps) “IN THE END IT ENDS UP BEING A 1 ON 1 FIGHT.” Look closely when stark dies and one captain is making him look stupid and Love and other guy are on the ground. You see that?
Kyoraku + Ukitake vs. Yama: this fight was thrown in to show how much of a beast Yamamoto is. At no point did you actually see them fight.
Hitsugaya + Hiyori + Lisa vs. Halibel: We did not see all three of them attack her. Also ended in…confusion with Aizen slicing her down.
The author wants to convey a message. Maybe its only 1 v 1 is honorable who knows.
Renji+Ishida vs Espada 7: ended in a 1 vs 1 fight.
Those captains absolutely do not accept help or work with others.
How can u say 1 and 2 without proof, you already know that kenpachi has had some communication with the sword. He called his sowrd “him” when he was fighting nnotoria.
And we see starrk just falling to the ground, nothing else. I thing he’s gonna go out with a bang!
i cant say for a absolute fact that he will not talk to his sword. But i can say that it would be out of character for him to do it. Kenpachi’s whole attitude is that does not need anything to be strong accept himself. Kenpachi said he doesnt need it. Its not like he said he didnt know how…he has NO INTEREST in using a shikai or bankai its against his beliefs
Ok I re-read the Bleach manga from chs 299-312 and at no point during the Nnoitra battle does Zaraki refers to his sword as “him”. He did mention, after Nnoitra’s release,that his(Nnoitra) reiatsu is sharping his blade (ch. 309) before the battle. I have to agree with Supizzle, for the most part, that there is a strong possibility that he will never know his sword’s name but disagree with his interpretation of Kenpachi’s attitude. After his battle with Ichigo, Kenpachi realizes that his own arrogance has hampered his desire to get stronger (Ch.1140…given the opportunity again to learn his sword’s name, I believe he will.

Murasama is part of the filler anime not the regular storyline in the manga, he means nothing. Zaraki doesn’t know his sword’s name and I believe never will.

Agree, they won’t tell anything that yet to be revealed in manga, like Kenpachi’s Zanpakuto, and Iba’s Zanpakuto…
If you watch last week filler omake, you will notice that Iba doesn’t tell Isane his zanpakuto’s name when she ask him..
why? because the manga doesn’t state the name yet….
Now what would all out freakin amazing, is that, if Lady Unohana, showed up saying that she, her Lieutenant and Mayuri, Said that they opened up a protal to get back to the world of the living, and asked everyone to leave. Expect, that of coruse Yammy gets pissed, and once everyone gets everybody, out Lady Unohana stays and fights Yammy; one on one! That would be amazing, I have wanted to see what she could do, because she in afterall the second oldest person, in the SS, I THINK. Because her, Kyouraku Shunsui, Ukitake Juushiro, and Yamamoto Geryuusai, are said to be only Captains still alive from the first ever Gotei 13.
Shes not older than kyoraku or ukitake because yamamoto said that they were the first two captains. so she is younger or less skilled than the two of them

First off, you cant call it 3 on 1 since Kenny will probably kick kick Ichigo away or Byakuya telling him off for being useless and in the way, then making it a half-right 2 on 1 since they haven’t decided on teaming up, but just happen to be attacking him at the same time since neither will back down to let the other fight. But i doubt they’ll be the ones to beat him, but they wont lose either because it wouldn’t look right for Kenny, I believe it’ll be Unohana who will step in, since like the way the other 3 captain’s espada was similar to them in character, Yammy will be too since they’re both shockingly the strongest besides they’re leaders, and the ace in the hole in case all else fails.
One more detail, why is now Unohana’s turn:
Each of the captains had it’s opponent so far.
Ichigo had the “substance of despair and reasoning”, Kenpachi fought the fighting machine, Byakuya fought against the guy with 1000 weapons, and Mayuri against the researcher.
Unohana did not fought so far. Unohana against Yammy… Is Unohana a brute force style “guy”?
Finally the story is moving forward!
But what the hell is ichigo gonna do if he could barely just scratch yammi!
Is he going to pew pew aizen, and unohana seems anxious to start fighting or realises there are more wounded to tend to, which would suck because i think everyone wants to see her kick some proverbial ass!
FINALLY the spoiler is out wait WTH …. ichigo is now gonna return in the real world with unohaba thats means to all who said hiyori gonna die u were mistaken cause most likely unohana gonna cure her …so kenpatchi and byakaya aginst yammy who is alone now in hueco mundo poor yammy . icant wait to see the next chapter and whats gonna happen when ichigo see aizen 4 the first time in so much damn long time
How can you “cure” someone who has been cut in half?! You can’t simply re-attach her and say : ta-da you’re fixed now. She maybe the head of the medical staff, but by the time she gets there Hiyori would probably lost too much blood.
If Ichigo brought Orihime with him, then it would be another story.
Most likely i think unohana can because think agin we have not seen any of her super healing stuff and if orihime can fix something cut in half it would be disappointed that the Captin of the 4th squad cant .
disappointing how? that’s Orihime’s power, to negate things that have happened. Unohana’s power is to heal what can be healed, she can’t bring guys back from that close to death
Hey, actually Yammi’s leg was cut off by Kenpachi. That would explain why Kenpachi was pissed at Byakuya striking the first blow (the Kido 33) before he sliced Yammi’s leg off. If you look at the part right before Yammi’s leg was sliced off, you would notice the hem of the Shinigami’s robe who cut it, and the hem of the robe was jagged. As far as I know, Kenpachi’s robe was in tatters whereas Byakuya’s robe was still in fine condition. That’s my opinion, it’s up to you all to decide which is right.
