Buggy doesn't die even from getting sliced into bits, and he gets cocky and shoots a bomb at Mihawk.
Mihawk hits the bomb back at Buggy, blowing him up.
Luffy: BUGGGGYYYYYY!!! I will never forget you!!
Luffy gets back to heading to his brother, and Marco is watching him.
Marco: Hey, back him up!
Marco calls up the fifth division captain, Vista "The Sword Flower".

My bet is on Buggy coming in to fight Mihawk, since his Bara Bara no Mi cancels out sword-based attacks. Also, battling with Mihawk (even if he doesn’t defeat him) will only help to boost Buggy’s status in the world as a formidable pirate.
Buggy will be hit and killed by Mihawk directly because Mihawk uses Haki

How could any reader not know about Haki? It’s been one of the bigger topics in the past 100 issues. Using Haki doesn’t mean that it makes the opponent’s Devil Fruit unusable in the way seastone would, so I’m not one to think that it would make Buggy unable to split. If he were a logia, I wouldn’t doubt that Mihawk’s blade could come in contact with him. But since Buggy is a paramecia, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was at least an interesting reaction.
Neat! Buggy did fight Mihawk after all, and didn’t get killed by his sword! Sure, he lost, but it was by his own hand.
Buggy maybe cannot slice by mihawk but mihawk can sent the piece part of buggy flying far away with the slice power of his sword!
