the shadow might be dragon waiting for his son to use haki or rayleigh..but dont know why he should be there. he is old. is not anymore his war.

My Prediction’s of the next couple of chapters: Be blunt with how you think it sounds
Okay, now that luffy is back up thanks to Iva, he and Iva will go and get Jimbei, then Luffy gives them some kind of plan in secret
Iva and Jimbei look wierded out by the plan, Iva then tells Luffy that he will not forgive him if he dies under his watch, Luffy smiles and says “I can’t be sure of anything”
On the center stage of the battle field, four of the shichibukai are standing, Boa, Mihawk, Kuma, and Moria
Boa is thinking to herself of a way to help Luffy without jeapordizing Amazon Lily even more. Then she realizes that no matter what she will have to choose one over the other… she decides she will choose LUFFY…
But Mihawk gives her a wierd stare, and softly states, “You will not succede in what you are planning to do, if you attack, then I have no choice but to cut you down… then both of them will be doomed”
Boa looks stunned and thinks to herself, “is he reading my mind”
Mihawk turns toward her and says, you must be able to read the moves of anyone cause anyone can become an enemy, you are no different”
Back with Luffy,They have built the team up by bit and are accompanied along with Mr. 1, and Mr. 3
Mr. 1 says that he will only help until Croc informs him otherwise
Mr. 3 says I will probably be the first to die in this group
Mr. 3 creates a giant blob of wax and molds it into a huge bridge “Wax Travel”
Luffy splits with the group, and only takes Jimbei and Mr. 1 with him
They see Whitebeard barely standing his ground against Akainu, with numerous burn marks all over him
Right when Akainu gets ready for a finishing blow, Jinbei washes Akainu over with water, and the magma around him becomes sticky as it cools into rock (though still quite hot) Luffy follows up Akainu’s wash up with a gigant rifle, and literly drills him into the ground.
Many shocked looks go around, Whitebeard gives Luffy a smile and stands back up, one of his eyes have been burned shut.
Kizaru now has Marco on the defensive and is overpowering him at every counterstrike, and no matter how fast Marco moves he can’t outrun light.
Luffy is now back on the heavyfire area in the plaza, he is confronted by Koby, Hellempo, Hina, Fullbody, and Jango
Koby has tears draining down his face, as do Hellempo, they would rather not stand in Luffy’s way, but they have taken the Marine name on there backs. Koby says I’m even stronger than last time, even if you are the first friend I ever made.
Luffy doesn’t share Koby’s tears, he coldly tells the Marine group in front of him, “if you slow me in any way, I will show no mercy, I will CRUSH YOU!!!”
Hina unleashes first and traps Luffy in a body cage, Koby jumps toward him, “Luffy, my friend, your journey ends here!! Shigan! Ouren!” He hits Luffy with a barrage of strikes. A close up reveals acupuncture needles on the tip of each index connected to a ring, Luffy coughs some blood up, and has a Flashback to him and Hancock talking on momonga’s ship

The scene changes back and Luffy is biting his lips to the point that they are bleeding, “I have to get out of this damn cage, I have to save my brother, You assholes aren’t strong enough to kill me!!!” He breaks out of Hina’s body cage, and puts her in a critical state
No Way! Koby attacks again and Hellempo attacks from behind, Luffy dissapears with super human speed and Drops all four remaining members of the group. Jinbei and Mr. 1 have already kept going, it seems that this was part of their plan too, for Luffy to take care of the small fries
Boa Hancock is now seen in the same area, but it seems that it was hit by a bomb, She is fighting Kuma and Mihawk, Moria is down and out and looks near dead, along with a mess of marines, including Tashigi… Smoker is now on the rampage
hmm i dunno about the shadow n all but at this point in time i’d rather see the supernovas show up and do sumthing drastic rather than any famous pirate from the New world…..referring to previously discussed Shankz/Dragon arrival commentz
the shadow is rather big… maybe it’s just a gargoyle or somethin’…
i think oda will not draw that small part for nothing (page 5 with shadow), remember at shabondy archipelago, before sentumaru appear, a shadow with axe were shown at the top of the building…
who may it be (the shadow), i think he is the key to end this war or to save ace…
my prediction, maybe its dragon, i think luffy will get down again, cause Iva only gave him a will to fight, maybe pain releaver hormone, but still, he cant match a single admiral.. and then dragon will appear, of course to save his son, he already save luffy once, when luffy is fighting against smoker.. then luffy will ask a favor to dragon to save ace.. the end

did you see how big is the shadow compared to sengoku and ace? they were just below so you can compare.
Maybe it’s just me but, I’m not seeing this shadow everyone is talking about. All I see is scenes from Ace’s past. Unless you guys are talking about the big guy talking to Ace about beating up those people. I also looked at pages 4 and 6 and I don’t see anything. Where is this shadow? I feel like I am looking for Waldo.

there’s a shadow watching on the building.it’s really small man.
That’s what i thought everyone meant but to me it just looks like dust, smoke, and rubble leftover from WB’s assault. I think everyone is really over thinking it, but we will see what happens. In my opinion, It wouldn’t make sense for Dragon or Shanks to show up to save Ace. Luffy going Super Saiyan, firing a Spirit Gun, and defeating all 3 Admirals with a Bass guitar while riding a Vespa is more likely to happen. XD I don’t think Oda would give Luffy such an epic re-entrance onto the battlefield just see him get stomped on again, then outshined by someone else. Then again, somebody from Marineford allowed Luffy and the others though the gate, so we will see what will happen in…. 3 weeks…… Man i love One Piece XD
i don’t think luffy will save ace all by himself.he will play some big part but defeating all 3 admiral is not gonna happen man.i don’t wat gonna happen but i think luffy not gonna be the main powerhorse in this war man.he’s not that strong yet..

some see it as a shadow, some as dust, some as an explosion…
but why for me it’s a shadow ? cause it’s outside the battlefield, so no explosion and no dust, and it’s also a little far behind the execution platform, thus it can be barely seen by ppl in the battlefield, so i good place to hide…
i dont think its someone shadow,, unless its a giant… just compare it to ace n sengoku in execution platform!! can u see how big that shadow is?

cover: shows Luffy in a Christmas outfit with a fake beard giving gifts to Chopper and Usopp.
1st part: Luffy is shown completely powered up because Ivankov has given Luffy another shot of vigour hormones. The force coming from Luffy has caused buildings to collapse behind the platform. Everyone has stopped fighting and are amazed.
Luffy: “AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! Ace, I WILL SAVE YOU!!”
Garp: “So, reckless… I will have to stop you for good, …..Luffy” Luffy shoots off fast toward the platform and Kizaru sees him and goes to intercept. Garp with quick speed appears in the front of Luffy and is about to strike him but Luffy dodges in a split-second. “GEAR SECOND!!”
Kizaru: “Where are u goi…” Garp strikes Kizaru by mistake and sends him flying to the wall.
Garp: “Argh!” Kizaru looks unconscious laying by the destroyed wall.
Marines: “The legendary Garp the Fist has knocked out Kizaru…”
Sengoku: is thinking “Garp! what are you doing?”
New World Pirates: “I guess its true … old man Garp is the legendary marine hero.”
Buggy: thinking in his head “Great distraction, Mugiwara…” but says to his guys “Aaahha ha! Now, lets do it!”
Buggy followers: “Lets Go and execute the plan for Captain Buggy!! YEAH!!!”
2nd part: Luffy has made his final resolve to save Ace and is attacking the platform but encounters other Vice Admirals Momonga and Doberman. They appear in front of Luffy to stop him as before.
Luffy: “Out of my way …!! Pant! Pant!” is thinking ~ “I will try my new attack now…”
Luffy: “Gomu Gomu no …! Luffy stretches his hands together behind him to form a ball but there seems to be a force with them this time. Strikes Vice Admiral Momonga first ~ Jet Time Bomb!!!
Momonga: “What did u do to me…? I cant move” Luffy smiles and dodges an attack from Vice Admiral Doberman who attacks from behind. Luffy uses same attack on Doberman too.
Luffy: “Hee he hee! Its my new attack.” Then suddenly vice admirals are shown being blown up and far away by unseen force like a bomb just went off.
Ivankov: “Vaaat! A delayed time attack…”
Ace: “Luffy!”
Garp: “Luffy using haki now… I see! ~ with his rubber ability his punches can be loaded with even more power than mine when I was at my prime.”
3rd part: The tide of the war is changing to the side of the pirates. Captain Buggy enters into the fight and tries something unusual with the help of his followers. Whitebeard looks exhausted but Marco steps in to fight Akainu. Jozu is busy fighting Admiral Aojiki.
Jozu: “Its going to take more than alittle ice to stop me!!” Aojiki tries to freeze Jozu entire body but Jozu slams his diamond arms together with haki force breaks Aojiki attack.
Aojiki: Jos ! Pant! Pant!
Jozu: “You damned Marines!! – Diamond DRILL!! “ Jozu jumps at Aojiki and spins his body as he turns his whole body into a diamond. Aojiki is drilled into the ground and breaks into small pieces.
4th part: Marine Headquarters are having a hard time with both Whitebeard pirates and the prisoners from Impel Down. A darkness is forming behind Marineford as well as two marine battleships are approaching from the bay area.
Sengoku: says “Whose on those marine ships?…” but is thinking- “I hope its Teach because right now…. we need help”
The last scene shows Admirals Akainu and Aojiki look worried as they see a darkness forming beneath the rest of the platform.
PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whitebeard tightens his grip on his spear as he attacks Garp. The supernovas have arrived to the battle. Urouge, Drake, Hawkins, Apoo, Law, Kid, Killer, Bonney and Capone. They had stolen a marine paddle ship to get to Marineford as quick as possible.
Law: yells out “ROOM!” As a bubble forms around a couple of Pacifistas… and law removes their heads from their bodies. Two big explosions in the bay as the marine paddle ship arrives.
Last scene shows Eustass “Captain” Kid… yelling “REPEL!!” as he has collected a ton of guns and arms.

I can see where everyone would get the idea that that is a shadow, but that is rubble leftover from WB’s assault. If it were a shadow then it would be in a larger panel than that. That small panel shows a change in scene; just an expansion from the picture of the platform. On pages 6-7 they used it a few times from Ace’s past, to Ace, then to Garp, then to Luffy and Iva. Its also on page 13. Also i never said Luffy would save Ace by himself, I just said that after that epic roar he isn’t going to go down easy. Not to mention Luffy has the key to Ace’s cuffs. My actual prediction is that Luffy will get to the platform somehow, someway, only to meet Sengoku’s fist to his face and Garp jumps in against Sengoku. Classic Shonen stuff. XD Since Luffy doesn’t have a main enemy in this, (i.e. Buggy, Arlong, Enel, Rob Lucci, Moria [you get the idea]) he is the one most likely to get to Ace.
if you can see where sengoku and ace is, you will notice that they were too small compared to that shadow they were talkin’ about. unless it is a giant… or nothin’…
