エース、ルフィにもたれ掛って、

船医が駆けつけるがエースは治療を拒否。

Sengoku stops Garp.

Luffy: Ace!! You promised me you won’t die!!
Ace leans on Luffy,
Ace: Sorry, you couldn’t save me…
Marco is freed by Mr3, and Marco and Vista both attack Akainu.
Akainu: Haki users eh? Well that’s troublesome… give up on Fire-fist, he’s done with.
Marco can’t deny that claim, and regrets letting his guard down
Ace flashback, people are cursing Gold Roger and his blood.

Chapter 574: Portgus D Ace, is dead.
The chapter starts with everyone astonished.
Garp tells Sengoku he better stop me now, or I will kill Sakazuki.
Sengoku does so. Marco and Vista attacks Akainu.
Akainu says Haki users eh? This is troublesome, and attacks Ace again. Jinbei stops the attack.
flashback of Ace and Luffy. Ace says he misses even someone like Dadan now, thanks for the love he recieved.
The vivre card burns out. Luffy is seen with expression never seen before. end.
Trivia: Ace is the only “D.” character thus far to have been offered a position as a Shichibukai. However, he declined the offer while Marshall D. Teach, his former subordinate, suggested himself to join its ranks.
I can finally see the why the people fear the grand line…luffy had it kinda easy in east blue but when he got to the grand line…things became much harsher and they will continue to get harder just like the story fortold. Im also thinking on what croc and moria said especially croc when he say the more you get to know this sea the less you will follow your dreams. Moria said the new world is the real nightmare…what the hell is going on in One Piece, its like the world is slowly becoming choatic.

This is kind of a depressing chapter… but I honestly was not surprised about Ace dieing. I assumed that it would either be Ace or Whitebeard that dies in this war but I guess it turned out to be Ace.
I wonder how Luffy will react in the next chapter. I hope he won’t go emo or anything cuz that would really suck. I also hear from some that a time skip is supposed to happen pretty soon which could be rather interesting…

It’s really unpredictable that Ace is dead.. and so is Jimbei (or at least badly wounded). One Piece is totally full of epic twists and turns.

Ace would be the new Pirate King. That would be in the way of Luffy. Jimbei did not really have a place to go.
I thought he could go with Luffy, but i think Oda did not want that. And to keep Jimbei away from Luffy, something like this needed to happen.

GOD its like when i read the chapter when kuma used his paw paw powers to seperate the straw hats and i started to tear up and i was out of breath.ODA IS A MANGA GOD. he plays with my emotions in the most epic ways.it sucks that ace is dying/dead but it will wake us and the characters of one piece that even th strong can be killed in these seas and in this new era.
